Legend! Trouble in Paradise(IC/started/Not Accepting /Life RP)

In waiting for a response Daniel saw many things... Amber is not who she appears to be, hiding around and observing people began to make him regret every offering her a favor. Alex, well he is a nut job, or just hyper spastic. Brian seems down to earth, The girl that Alex is talking to seems like she is deaf, on account of the sign language and the new kid, seems pretty cool just by the way he got off the boat makes Daniel want to run up and say hi. These thoughts ran through his head like rapid fire as he awaited Brian's response

[Dwarven King]

"I happen to like everything you mentioned. Especially yu-gi-oh cards. I didn't think I would meet someone else here that like it as well." Brian replied. "Did you by any chance bring your own deck with you? I happen to have a couple of mine. Unfortunately, I can't get all the good cards people like, so they aren't the best. But I still love them and still win duels. Especially my machine deck. I'm constantly changing it because I'm never quite satisfied." Brian then noticed the girl standing in the shadows observing anyone. "Hmm. I wonder why she is doing that?" he asked Daniel.

"I really dont know, she seemed really sweet at first but now she kinda freaks me out haha. I brought my whole collection.. all 2500 cards. (OOC: that is the size of my real collection haha) I have like 3 Decks set up if you want to go duel i think it would be really fun!" Daniel was starting to like it here and love meeting Brian.

(OOC: I'm to lazy to count my real life collection, but I honestly don't have the money for all those amazing cards people talk about.)

"Perhaps later." Brian replied. "I think it would be best if we stick out here for a bit and get to know everyone else. It would be nice to know who we need to avoid later on. Know what I mean?" Brian then took a quick glance around at everyone. This was going to be interesting.

(OOC ONCE MORE: This just gave me a BRILLIANT idea for a Survivor RP (based off of the show). Anyone game?)

Lucas finished his drink and cigarette. He decided to meet some people. He left his glass in his room and went down the stairs and out of the house. Lit another cigarette and saw a skinny guy with brown hair. He tapped his shoulder and when he turned around Lucas extended his hand and said "I'm Lucas!" with a forced smile and the cigarette in his left hand.

(OOC:I'm game for survivor)

Brian turned around to look at the person who tapped his shoulder. It was some guy with a cigarette in his hand. Brian gripped his head and shook it. "The name is Brian. It's a pleasure meeting you." he replied. A second later, he took a whiff of the cigarette smoke and his face tightened a little bit. "Not to be rude or anything, but would you mind not smoking around me?" he asked Lucas. "I rather despise it personally."

(OOC: Ight, sounds good. I need to decide on competitions.)

Lucas was used to that, so he said "Okay, if you say so." He threw the cigarette to the ground and stepped on it a couple of times. "So, I hear you like yu-gi-oh?Me too, kinda, I mean, I think I left my 2 decks back home, but if you have some I can borrow I'd duel anytime." Lucas was using all the "cards" he had, as to win some sympathy, which would be useful. Not that he really wanted to be friends, he just needed people who liked him, and would help him. Although he was thinking about the guy that went into mansion a few minutes ago, he caught his eye ever since he saw him on the boat.

(OOC: If you want I could think of some...)

[Dark Lightning]

Not long after Jaden had become settled in his room, he heard faint distant voices of excited chatterinng; most likely from the other people that got off the boat. Meeting new people wasn't really Jaden's 'thing', but he might as well. He lifted himself up from his bed and then put his shoes on calmly. He glanced at the mirror on his way out, and saw that his hair was a bit neater than usual, but still messy from the wind that had pushed it around on the boat ride. Jaden then shrugged it off and stepped outside; as soon as he did, he took another deep breath. There was no way he could ever get tired of the atmosphere that this island created.

Daniel was in a daze but came out of it too see Lucas. "Hey dude" puts hand out for a handshake "sorry if u think i ignored you.. i sorta zoned out but im back now! And yes im a yugioh freak" Daniel puts on a huge smile. The people around here bring out something in him he is not used to. His mood completly changed... possibly from meeting Amber first... He isnt quite sure what it is about her but something is a little off with him today, starting with her

"Understandable. I can see why some people may not want to bring their decks." Brian replied. "Oh, and thanks for getting rid of that. Hope it's not to much trouble." He then set there for a second thinking about what decks he brought. "Well" he began, "like I said, my decks are great. But I have a couple. Tell me, what kind of deck do you prefer to run?"

(OOC: Anyone have any ideas on competitions used for Survivor?)

"Well brian" Daniel says still holding hand out "i run a B.A. insect deck, so its ultimately your choice." Daniel regreted saying that right away because he pointed out all his weaknesses. He hopes to stand a chance against him still. He keeps wondering what kind of cards he uses while glancing back at amber every once in a while. He hates not being able to interpret his own feelings.

(OOC: Ight, cool. I think I'll start up the OOC thread here in a minute. Look for it. Also, open for competition ideas for it.)

"Insects? Never faced those before." Brian replied as he noticed Daniel taking quick glances at the girl in the shadows. [i]"Maybe he likes her and is to shy to get her attention. Hmm...why not? I'll help."[/i] he thought to himself as he waved the girl over. He then turned to Lucas and asked "What about you? What kind of deck do you prefer to run?"

Daniel grabs Brian's arm before he had a chance to hear lucas's answer... "dude i think you can understand why i do not want her over here, so im begging you to get her to leave or something...." Daniel felt like i jerk but couldnt risk Amber finding out

"Huh?" Brian replied. He stared at Daniel for a little bit, then looked up at the girl. She hadn't noticed him yet, which mean't he didn't mess up yet. Though he didn't see how he was messing up. "Alright dude, spill it. Why don't you wanna be around her? You're acting like you're crushing already." he said.

"i swear if you say anything... ok fine she was the first girl i met here, AND... she helped me out of the hammock i got stuck in. Most people would either A, ignore me and walk away, or B make fun of me, but she did nothing but giggle and help me out, of course im kinda crushing so im trying to get over it and her being around would not help." Daniel felt worse but felt then after better when he realized that Neither Amber nor Lucas realized what happened so he pulled them back into normal conversation.

[Fader]

"It's my Pleasure...Emily." Alex said with a bow, and took off with a smile.[i]Well that wasn't TOO bad[/i]
He noticed everyone's conversation. He checked his watch again...."8:00 PM, in 2 hours, the butler says we ALL go to the hot tub for a social hour...Awesome!"
"Hey did everybody get the Hot Tub social hour at 10:00 PM memo!? We will all get to know each other!" Alex yelled excitedly. He smiled, this will be AWESOME!"

Brian began to laugh loudly after Daniel explained it to him. After a little bit, Brian finally calmed down a bit and said, "Sorry, but that stuff always cracks me up." He then turned back to Lucas and asked, "So, what kind of deck do you run? I may have a good deck for you." While waiting for a reply, he heard someone say something about a hot tub social hour. "Great, I get to sit in a hot tub and show off my non attractive body to three other guys and four girls." he said while rolling his eyes. "I may wind up passing on that. Or at least just sitting on the side with a shirt on."

This time Daniel has a good laugh "Loosen up dude! were in paradise there is no need to worry... Maybe i should apply that too my self... Damnit i hate these stupid oxymoron crap." Daniel looks at Amber "maybe talking to her wont be so bad... Just message me, you guys did get the pda's they gave us right?" daniel says as he runs off to talk to Amber.

"Yeah, I got the PDA. I suppose I could text you if I need you." Brian replied as he watched Daniel run off towards the girl. "Go get her tiger!" he yelled after him as he began laughing again. He then leaned back against the wall of the house and waited for Lucas to tell him the kind of deck he ran. While he was waiting, he decided to observe everyone else.

Daniel walked up to Amber who was seeminngly hiding in the shadows. "Hi" he said "thank you for helping me back there, i was stuck. as you can tell." [i]stop with the stupid stuff Daniel and start a real conversation[/i] "So, i was wondering, if you would like too... idk maybe get to know eachother?" [i]your only making your self look stupid and its the first night![/i] "Maybe hang out later or something? Your choice" Daniel eagerly awaited a resoponse

Amber looked up, surprised by Daniel's suddenly starting a conversation with her. "Oh, hi. Your the guy at the hammock, right," she said, smiling earnestly. "Get to know each other? Hang out?" She repeated. "Well, we're probably going to get to know everyone here sooner or later, but sure, I'll hang out with you," she said, sounding earnest once again. "Oh, and sorry if I looked kind of creepy standing off to the side like that," she said, looking down and blushing slightly. "Just a little shy, is all."

Emily waited for a bit longer before assuming the boy must have become tongue tied, either that or felt a bit weird about being with a "deaf" person. He finally replied with a boy before taking off. She waved slightly at him, slightly confused, before turning and intending to back to her room. However while doing so, she bumped into another boy whom by the look of it was just coming from his room. [i]"Sorry about that, I wasn't paying any attention."[/i] Emily quickly apologized in a flurry of hand motions.

Daniel smiled "i know the feeling! thats kinda why i ran away earlier... Too nervous to talk to you..." Daniel looks down and kicks around some dirt and decides to bring up his favorite topic "do you like yugioh by chance? If not thats cool but i really like it and was wondering if you would like to duel some time or not..." Daniel lost his "yugioh rush" and started kicking dirt again

Brian watched as a girl went back into the house. [i]"Hmm...looks like she is mute. That, or she likes confusing the hell out of people. I'll have to test that out later when when I get a chance to talk to her.[/i] he thought to himself. He then went back to observing everyone else while waiting for Lucas to reply.

(OOC: Hotaru, who did you run into? I thought...oh yeah, someone was leaving their room. Oops, forgot. :<)

"Yugioh? No, but I have always wanted to play," she said, looking down in thought. She then looked up, eyes bright as if she just came up with the greatest idea ever. "Why don't you teach me how to play? We can get to know each other through that. And besides, you can't decline. You owe me a favor anyways, so yeah. I think this will work." She smiled warmly.
