Ok judging Retrain that Vanillia #4 with Hard Armor. I am going to try a new method to make this easier to read.

[spoiler=Psychic Almighty]

Lore: 2 level 3 monsters

This card gains 600 DEF for each of its Exceed Material Monsters. Every time this card is attacked, place 1 "Armour" Counter in this card. You can remove 1 Exceed Material Monster from this card to negate the attack of one monster on the field. You can remove 3 "Armour" Counters from this card to select 1 monster on the field. Place 3 "Armour" Counters on that card. For every "Armour" Counter on a monster, that monster gains 500 DEF and cannot change its battle position.

First off I must say I think it is bold to go exceed with it being so new. So props on that alone. The defense gaining ability makes sense. The attack negation is a bit dull because it is the same Aspiring Emperor Hope but it does make perfect sense for the card. The only thing I am iffy about is how you can only transfer armor counters 3 at a time. Seems like it would be hard to pull off and would have been better if it was only 2 or just 1 at a time.

This card can only be Fusion Summoned with the effect of "Warrior Tune Reverse". When you Synchro Summon using this card as a Synchro Material, you can double its Level. If you do, remove this card from play. When this card battles a monster, decrease this card's ATK by 300 points. When this card destroys a monster by battle, select 1 Tuner monster from your Graveyard and equip it to this card as an Equip Spell Card. This card's Level increases by 1 for every card equipped with this effect. When this card is destroyed and sent from the field to the Graveyard, you take 200 damage for every card equipped to this card.

WarriorTuneReverse.png

Tribute 1 face-up Level 4 or higher Warrior-Type monster you control. Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Warrior-Type Fusion Tuner Monster from your Extra Deck. This is considered a Fusion Summon. A monster Summoned with this cards effect has its original ATK and DEF switched and doubled. During this turn, each time you Synchro Summon a monster using a Warrior-Type Tuner monster as a Material, you can draw 1 card. When the monster Summoned with this card's effect is removed from the field, you can remove 1 Synchro Monster from your opponent's Graveyard.

Again another entry that wants to push the envelope. The idea of a spell card that tributes a monster to summon a fusion tuner is cool and good. The huge problem is that together these 2 cards have way too many effects! Which can get confusing. If the spell card doubles and switches the ATK/DEF of whatever it summons and the summomed monster can only be fused by said spell card then why would any monster printed to be used with it not just have its ATK/DEF switched and doubled on the card? Just so when it is monster reborn-ed it is very weak. Also seeing how it can increase its level killing monsters and can just double it whenever is a bit over the top. Seems like it should be one or the other. I really like the concept but too many unnecessary effects makes thing too overpowered and a bit unplayable.

If a Warrior-Type monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can Special Summon this card from your hand and end the Battle Phase. If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the Synchro Summon of a Warrior-Type or Beast-Warrior-Type Synchro Monster, that monster cannot be destroyed by battle.

Pretty impressive. At first glance being another battle fader seems too powerful but being instead restricted to warrior-types does seem like a fair enough way to balance. Making it not destroyable by battle is similar to Trust Guardian but that card reduces the ATK each time as a payoff. That card is restricted to level 7 or higher synchros while this is restricted to 2 types so this is definitely more restrictive as a pay-off. I kind of feel like it should have been a once only cannot be destroyed by battle or even once per turn cannot be destroyed by battle. But as is it does pretty fair and balance. Plus just a fun card to play with warrior decks.

[spoiler=Dwarven King]

Name: Hard Armor

Attribute: Earth

Type: Warrion/Effect

Effect: By sending this card from the field to the graveyard, you may activate the following effect. Select one WARRIOR type monster on your side of the field and increase either it's attack by 300, or it's defense by 600.

ATT-300 / DEF-1200

A solid straight forward effect. Sadly though it seems too weak. I could see this like Honest as a send from your hand ability until the end of turn. I see you did half the card's DEF and equal to the card's ATK. But if you wanted to keep the original effect of tribute you could have went the opposite and made it increase ATK by 600 or DEF by 1200. Not a bad card, just a little underwhelming.

[spoiler=Fallen Pizza]

Effect/Lore: Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Warrior-Type monster you control, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, that monster gains 500 ATK and DEF. When the equipped monster battles, you can send this card to the Graveyard to have the equipped monster gain 1000 ATK until the end of the Damage Step. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.)

A pretty solid union. Much like warrior version of Heavy Mech Support Platform except old-school union (only protects by battle, not all destruction). But also you can sacrifice the protection for 500 extra power. Pretty good and not really any real problems I see.

[spoiler=Daft Punk]

hardarmorjpgset1set2ins.jpg

Lore - Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to a face-up monster as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)

A really interesting thing I want to point out is this union is different from all other unions for when you unattach it, it summons in face-up DEFENSE position. All other unions are Attack position. Not being killed by battle is straight-forward effect for a union but since it is an old-school union it only protects from being destroyed by battle yet the effects makes it so it can't be destroyed by battle. Which is all a bit redundant. Seeing how Metallizing Parasite - Lunatite is a level 7 union that can equip to anything and protects from spell cards while this is only level 3 union that can equip to anything and protects from battle makes it seem a bit over-powered. Sure spell cards are a bigger deal then battle but still feels like this could be more balanced.

[spoiler=Hounds of Anubis]

HardArmor.jpg

Lore: If this card attacks a monster you take no Battle Damage from the battle and this card is not destroyed as a result of that battle. If this card successfully attacks a monster, you can remove 1 Warrior or Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard from play to destroy the attacked monster. If this card is destroyed by battle, the monster that destroyed it loses 1200 ATK. If this card destroys a monster by battle, inflict 1200 damage to your opponent's Life Point

Hmm very interesting. It seems like a beefed-up Rocket Warrior but uses warriors and machines in the grave as fuel. Plus destroying it weakens the attacking monster. Also if you pump it up and kill a monster normally you burn them for a lot! I really like all of these abilities and this would be a really fun card to play. But honestly all of these effects together are a bit powerful. The removal effects is powerful but can work. As for the ATK reduction I feel like it should maybe only be 300 ATK less. And the burn effect could be dropped or at least reduced to 500 or 600 damage. I really like the card but it seems just a tad bit too ambitious.

[spoiler=Mr. Striker]

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. When this card attacks, switch 1 monster your opponent controls to Defense Position and decrease its DEF to 0.

Spirit huh? Again very interesting. Sadly way too powerful, yes even for a spirit. This would make Otohime totally obsolete. This card flat-out kills whatever it attacks unless they have an effect that prevents them from being killed by battle. An ATK/DEF reduction effect would make sense but this just kills it. Too powerful.
