The Amazing Avian
I think he was referring to the Ukemi. Just press the block button as soon as you hit the ground. Like Korean said, those three characters can profit from staying down, but if you're playing against a good Rock, get up as fast as possible because he has a lot of ground grabs and they're pretty easy to combo into more ground grabs. TOTAL DEFENSE AND KICKS BUTT! And me and my friend made a series of charachters called Dreads. Each had a diff style and skills.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
I still have SC III for the old PS2, and my favorite character from SC III is totally, hands-down, without a shadow of a doubt, Setsuka. She has awesome counter attacks that can just absolutely demolish the opponent, and she is quick to boot!

I have yet to play a great setsuka player (i'm terrible with her) but I'm sure that there are amazing players out there.

Not-so-Radiant Arin
1:16. I heard Ichigo! I guess Namco ran out of voice actors for Siegfried's whiny personality.
FF Fan
I might end up getting V. I've noticed that all the returning characters look the same despite the game taking place about 15 years after SCIII.
The Amazing Avian
Sigfried should have a beard. Not like a giant hobo beard, more like a Solid Snake kind of beard.

Because it would make sense since SC5 takes place 17 years after SC4

n8thegr8
Yeah I agree and they should have made him look older. I think he still looks pretty young, but I guess a beard would have done that though.

Nine Breaker
well how old was he by the time of SC4?
He was 16 in Soul Edge so I guess 23 or 24 between the times of Soul Calibur III - IV. Since he's the protagonist so to speak in the game I guess they kept him and Ivy young to appeal to a wider audience. Voldo, Seung Mina, and Cervantes has been my fav since Soul Edge and Talim since she appeared in Soul Calibur II. Those four have been my main up to SCIII (Never got SCIV so I don't know much about it). SCV looks promising so far. Setting the series 17yrs ahead will shake things up, but only if they actually do something about it. Ivy still looking the same and Seigfried still kind of looking the same makes it look as if they don't really want to drop any of the characters for fresher ones. I mean I'm a big Voldo fan, but how old was he in SCIV? Like 55? The man's close to 70 in the new one and they want to bring him back? His spine is going to snap in the middle of round 2 of the 1st battle.
ragnarok1945
I thought Voldo almost 60 by the time of SC4 or something
Nine Breaker
He might be. Either way he'll be the 1st old man in fighting games that can bend like that. Usually the old men in fighting games are the all wise having a younger protege type. If SCV has guest characters, who does think or want them to be?

The Amazing Avian
Voldo would be around 70 in V and Sigfried would be 40, Mitsurugi would be 46, Ivy stopped aging (Fanservice anyone?)
Ehh. There were bigger threats for to worry about over him. I found Xianghua, Necrid and Siegfried (SCIII Version) very frustrating to go up against. Ivy was another. I don't think Kilik, Xianghua or Seung Mina will return. The Amazing Avian
Necrid is kind of like a "collage" character. Most of his moves are copied off of other characters. I'll post a vid.
