Accel Exceed

Recommended Posts

Same as Accel Synchro, giving some Exceed monsters an envolved form.

(Ok they'll probably find some other way of doing evolved key monsters for Mr Yuma, but... meh)

Can you explain the rank thing. I gather its nothing like level. but how does it work?

I don't understand why they've done that in fairness.

You have to Tribute/Release level three monsters to summon a Rank three Exceed monster. Then those tributed monsters get placed under it, or something.

It doesn't have a "Level equivalent"; it simply has a Rank, and that's it. It's also not considered "tributing"; the monsters don't leave the field, but are instead placed underneath the monster.

On the cards themselves; since Level isn't a Rank, technically Fifth Dimension Dragon isn't an Exceed, but rather a Fusion. Exceeds call for monsters of a certain Level equal to their Rank; Fifth Dimension Dragon has specified those monsters, but is by all means still a standard Exceed and still needs the levels. I'd just go with calling it a Fusion, since that seems to be what it is, really.
