The Knights of Ragnarök(A Yugioh! RP) [IC/Still Accepting]

Recommended Posts

Zero looked up at the sky wondering about how his life had changed in the past months. A few months ago the Knights of Ragnarök were still basically underground. But now all talented duelist that haven't been possessed by Demons joined the Knights and most families left have hired the Knights to protect them. The grass Zero was laying in was a sickly yellow probably due to the demonic aura in the air. The field he was in was a place not many people knew about but was just on the outskirts of Neo Burner Town. Zero never knew the world before the Demon menace because he just woke up in a strange house two years ago. He awoke that day to see a bunch of monsters walking around and he soon came to realize these monsters were used in a game called duel monsters and Zero was actually thought by many to be a natural. He didn't know his name would one day become Zero Revolution one of the few rays of hope in the world but whatever he thought. I'll do whatever it takes to see how the world used to be, he thought, But honestly I have no idea on how that'll work. Zero looked at his watch and knew he couldn't be late to his own meeting. So he rose from his comfortable position and walked to his rather high-tech D-Wheel and got aboard riding back into a rundown and nearly defeated town. The last safe haven in the world against the Demons and he knew he had to protect this place or die trying.

Kain awoke in his small, litterally underground home. There was little of interest in his shelter, only a bed, radio, and laptop lay hidden inside. He raised his body, his eyes never leaving the door. Since his armor was always on, he had no need to get dressed, just get up, and walk out the door. He climbed out of the nice, dirty, little place and stepped into the hell that awaited him every day. He walked slowly next to some abandoned buildings that towered above him. Kain caughed once and glanced down at his deck, the deck he would give his life for, and smiled. Even with that deck today wasn't gonna be a cakewalk.

Outside of Kain's shelter, a strange man appeared out of thin air. Or he appeared as a man to some. To some, he was a red-skinned humanoid with a skeletal face adorned with goat horns, hoofed feet, and a pointed tail. To others, he looked like their worst nightmare come true, like a giant demonic spider creature to an arachnaphobe or a giant mouth with rotting teeth and food inside to a halitophobe. To even more sentient beings, he looked like some aspect of their mythology associated with a trickster or the keeper to their underworld. Currently, it was unknown what he looked like to Kain, but this entity had business with the young man.

Kain looked behind the spot where he stood to find something waiting for him. Something he could recognize, an unnameable figure that not only seemed to want to speak with him, but looked exactly like Kain, but in a buisness suuit. Now, Kain wasn't an idiot, but he knew it was best to find out what the unsettling figure wanted. "So," he began, showing a little amusement in his voice, "what do you want from me? Money? A conversation? A challenge?" Kain began to chuckle a bit, waiting for the figure's response. No need to do much else.

The figure grinned now that, to Kain, he now appeared to be Kain, albeit dressed in a three-piece black business suit with black leather shoes polished to perfection and a blood-red tie. Of course, only Kain saw him as this. "Greetings." The person-who-looked-like-Kain-to-Kain greeted. "I am called No One N. Particular, or 'No One' for short. Of course, I have many, many other names that people have called me. I'm sure you can think of some of them off of the top of your head. I am here because I would like to make you a deal."

Ah, Kain thought, I knew he couldn't be me. He looked closely at the look-alike, mostly at the blood red tie. Although in his speech, actions, and movements he acted calm, he was angered inside, for he hated to even look at himself. "So, No One," he began, "you want to make me a deal, eh? Well, my mommy always told me not to take candy from strangers, but I always liked to know what candy was offered. So, what's the deal?" Kain watched No One closely, making sure this mysterious entity wouldn't make a sudden move.

No One smirked. "Whatever you like, however, if you can defeat me in some sort of challenge, like a game or a contest, you get your wish for free. If you lose, however, your soul is mine." The being looked exactly like Kain and had even changed the tone of his voice to mimic Kain's, sounding almost exactly like the young man. "You know, you look a bit irritated. Are you alright? Is something bothering you? Maybe my current shape, perhaps? I apologize if it is. You see, almost everything about me is subject to change. I look differently to everyone, and no two appearances are alike. But I usually look like something those seeing me dislike. What do I look like to you?" Of course, No One knew the answer, and it was pretty clear to Kain as well.

"You look," Kain started, "like me. Too much like me, and if you didn't know, I'm not fond of myself." He thought very subtly about what could happen in the duel with No One. If Kain won, he could expel the demons from the city, but if he didn't... It wasn't pleasent to think about. He began to ask, "wait, would the game be similar to a Shadow Game, besides the wish part?" This challenge intrieged Kain, but there was still that one catch, and he was pretty sure he'd wouldn't be of use with no soul.

No One frowned and looked somewhat enraged. "You DARE to compare MY excellent deals to that PRIMITIVE pact used by those loincloth-wearing imbeciles?!?" He shifted a bit to look like an older version of Kain, appearing to be in his mid-20s. "For your insolence, if you lose against me, I will not only take your soul, but I will curse you! You will be conscious and alive, but you will slowly turn into a demon, and unless your soul is reclaimed before you fully transform, you will remain a demon forever! Now name your challenge, boy!"

Kain looked into the future version of himself and became less angered, in fact, he started to notice what he had just done. He had angered No One and had slowly made himself more calm. In short, Kain was switching the tables, and he felt good about it. "How bout we duel? It'll be quite fun for me to win." He smirked looking into what he would become, funny thing was, he liked what he was going to become. With full pride, his sword transforming into a Duel Disk, and his deck shuffling, he had a good feeling about this duel. Smiling, he asked, "so who goes first?"

Clause started running away from the demons that where chasing him, because he couldnt kill 19 all by himshelf. He ended up facing a dead end soon enough. He went into his human form, which looks like Yusei only way darker skin, no mark, and he had the symbol of a flame on his cheek instead of the mark. He was usually in his Cyborg-Ninja form, but did his human one sometimes. He Started climb the wall, until he met a hole in it. He went inside it, ran through the hole until he found another hole at the right, and then he ran in until he saw an exit. He burst through and pulled out his katanas in mid-air. He sliced 2 demons in half before he transformed them into a duel runner. He started riding over to The Knights' HQ, where a meeting was about to take place.

Grey slowly paced his palace, which, in actuality, was a KaibaCorp building that was transformed by the demon spirits. He was tired, hungry, and above all else, bored.
He looked out his wide window to see the tornado of pure darkness that protected his palace from outside forces. Then, he heard something.
He pressed a button with his index finger and the intercom buzzed to life.
"Madam, would you kindly bring up the video feed of Sector..." He paused. "Sector 13-A?"
His secretary responded quickly. "Oh, yes sir. Anything else?"
Grey smiled as the video screen hummed and lit up. "No, I'm alright. You go home, Ms. Elvin, I can handle things on my own from here."
"Oh thank you very much, Mr. Faltren! You need anything, you know how to contact me."
"Hmph. Yes. Now go, please."
Grey was younger than his secretary Jana Elvin by 2 years, but that didn't stop him from being attracted to her. He really enjoyed having her around.
His attention diverted to the video screen. On screen, there was a brown haired boy around his age, and an individual that was constantly shifting its appearance. From time-to-time, it looked like those pesky Knights, at others, certain Duel Monsters. It didn't take him long to gather that this person was the individual known as "No One," and it was the multiple demons viewing the scene that changed his appearance. He appeared to be getting ready to duel......A Knight? Yes, he remembered now. It was that Earth Knight. Kim, or something stupid like that. This was going to be interesting...

No One summoned a deck out of thin air and placed it at waist height. "I will go first." He drew five cards, then drew a sixth. "I draw, and I activate Trade-In, sending Imprisoned Queen Archfiend to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards!" He does so. "I will now Normal Summon Shadowknight Archfiend in Attack Position!" A huge blue-haired, blue-muscled monstrosity of a demon appeared, one of its arms a glowing red sword. (2000 ATK) "I will now set 3 face-down cards and end my turn!"

"No One": 8000 LP

(OOC:It was said in the OOC thread that we duel with 8000 LP.)
Kain wasn't intimidated by the 2000 ATK monster, but he was by the lack of useful cards in his hand. He examined his hand closely, before declaring "I set three cards aswell and one monster in defense position! I end!" There was little for him to do, but protect his life points until he got a really good card to play, which he NEEDED. He looked closely into No One's eyes, seeing visions of his own past. Kain shook his head and focused on the game once more. He was gonna need some great cards to win this duel.
LP:8000

Alex was waking up when he heard explosions outside in the streets. He lifted himself up and ran to the room of the knights HQ. There he found his duel runner. He jumped on and revved the engine. Suddenly, in a burst of blue energy, he flew out the base and into the streets. Alex had made his runner so fast that at certain speeds it appeared to be an extremely quick blur. Soon he found a large herd of demons, following a boy, who Alex recognized as a knight riding his duel runner.
"Oi! Demons! You ain't gonna get any food from him! Nor are ya gonna possess him. You tried if I'm not mistaken. So, take me to your leader."
He smiled at his fellow knight.
"I might be a bit late!" He shouted after him.

(OOC: Erwin and Night count as 1 character that's why I don't skip lines.)
"Night wake your lazy ass up," said a small black creature. The spiky brown haired boy opened his blue eyes and looked at the small dog like creature sitting before him. "Erwin it's a tad early don't you think," the boy obviously named Night replied. "Satan has awoken and is making a deal with a Night," Erwin looked at his partner who manifested a small black crown on his head. Erwin proceeded to climb on to Night's back and rested himself within the hood of his sleeveless hoodie. Night than veered back into his bed. "Come on dude," Night replied, "I personally don't give a rat's ass about that pitiful demon." When Night said demon he actually put air quotes because he loosely recognized him as a demon. Then Night stood upright and informed his partner, "One of the Knights are being brought here." Night looked at Erwin, "Maybe two." Neither of them ever really walked into the Walker's HQ but he didn't want to sleep in the open because people would take attempts on his life. Night walked to the elevator, pressed the button to open it's door and began his decent to meet his soon to be guest.

Jet suddenly sensed a presence not far off. This presence was one he headn't felt in years, the presence of his brother. A Knight now, with high respect among them. Apparently, from what he hasd heard, Alex was the second knight to join. Well, soon Alex would be dead, and the Knights will pay their LAST respects.
Jet looked around him. He lived a life of luxury. He was also high among the Demon disciples. Third in command, extremely well respected. He had servants, and he had a demon, the Earl, inside his head, giving him advice and helping achieve so much. Jet had power. Lots of it.
Suddenly, a black smog flowed out from Jet's temple. It created a shape, a shape of a demon.
"Soon Jet. Your brother will be dead. Then none will stand in your way! When he is gone, you will no longer be held back!"
Jet smiled. He walked to the door and towards the eleveator, where he met Night, another demon disciple.

The elevator door opened to the sight of one Night's and Erwin's least favorite people, Jet Stellar. He examined Jet's long navy hair and his clothing was rather dismal. Night noticed the demon inside of Jet was rather visible. Erwin never really took a host but he could appear how ever he wanted. Erwin looked at the new elevator mate with his intense round yellow eyes. "Where are you going Jet?" asked Night. "Probably going to meet our guest," Erwin replied casually. "Well unlucky for him I've already called dibs," Night stated looking at Jet awaiting his reaction.

"Oh really? Well one of those people happens to be my brother. Who would I be if I didn't pay my final respects. He's a knight. The second of the knights. I will have fun tearing him to pieces." He grinned and looked at the two in the elavator. "What the heck? Try dueling my brother. As much as I hate him, he is a powerful duelist with two powerful decks. I'll have fun watching this."
Jet got in the elevator. The doors closed and they continued their descent downwards.

(Ooc: it says jet is respected by the demon disciples. Also, I have TG's and vairons)

Night looked back and chuckled, "It doesn't matter how good he is." "I'll finish him easily," he added confidently. "Night you might not want to be TO over confident," added Erwin. "I'll take him to town," laughed Night. Night was obviously unusually light hearted for a Demon and that sometimes annoyed Erwin. "You should really stay focused," Erwin continued, "And don't take him lightly either or you'll find yourself in hole you might not be able to dig yourself out of." Night looked at his partner who was no on his shoulder and whispered so Jet couldn't hear, "I won't show everything promise." Erwin looked pleased with his pupil, "Good the King might have us expunged from this world if he found out we were stronger than him." Instantly Night felt the presence of their visitor was soon to reach the door. The elevator doors opened and Night sprang out to meet the guest.

Astro drew a sword and held its tip to Nights neck.
"One false move, and I might have to kill you. Don't make me." He turned to Jet and frowned disapprovingly.
"You, brother. Why did you do it? Your family, my family died. Why? Manifesting yourself in darkness! Well sorry, but I'm the knight of light. I challenge one of you to a Turbo Duel, here and now."
He pulled out two decks. Frowned, and placed one in his pocket and one in his duel runner.
"Who is dueling?"

Grey was incredibly annoyed. He could hear everything that transpired in the elevator.
"...Stronger than him."
Grey's eyes widened at this. Next time he saw Erwin and Night, he'd have a little talk with them.
But now, he was awaiting the arrival of a guest. His Demon Scouts had informed him of this. On top of that, there was the talk of the Knight going on in the elevator, and that could not be missed.
Plus, Grey was still awaiting the arrival of his Queen. He had sent her a Messenger Demon a while ago, and he was currently wondering when she'd reply or arrive. Or if she was even alive.
Peh, no matter. I still have Ms. Elvin...She could become quite useful, if she just stops acting so nervous around me.
His attention turned back to the duo in the elevator. He had opened a second screen detailing the interior of the elevator and the outside hallway. In the hallway was a figure. He was sure it was his guest.

Clause's D-Wheel was starting to slow down. "HELL WITH THAT!!" He yelled, as his D-Wheel stopped. He turned it into the two katanas, aimed them at the demons, and then 2 by 2 killed all 19 of them. He turned them back into a D-wheel and then rode again. He saw the HQ up ahead. He was then stopped by a hooded man with a duel runner and a chaos duel disk. "Get the hell out" Clause said to him. The masked rider activated his D-Wheel for a duel. His hood dropped to reveal, not a demon's face, but a human's. "If you want answers, then you have to duel me." He said. So Clause activated his D-Wheel, and then transformed into Cyborg mode. "LETS RIDE!!" They yelled.

Night smiled looking the down on the sword that was now pointed at his chest. He quickly side stepped and kicked it out of the Knight's hand. "We don't enjoy being but on the point like this sir," he smiled. "Oh god please don't start with your attempts at witty banter," complained Erwin. Night laughed and said, "I guess I'll duel you then." He hadn't been in a riding Duel in quite some time but he believed it wouldn't matter he might easily be able to beat his opponent. Then Knight called in to the air, "Apollinaire Come!" He said this and in the distance they heard a sound of sorts and it grew louder until a black and read D-Wheel approached the group. This duel runner had a sleek design and also held Night's duel disk. Its nose most resembled an arrow. He got on and screamed a command, "Speed World 3 activate!" "I'll let you go first bro," he stated as he waited for his opponent to join him.

Astro smiled. "Kicking a sword from my hand? Please!" He got jumped onto his sleek white duel runner, which began to hover as soon as he was on.
"Activate Speed World 3 now." In a flash of light, a silver line plotted the duel course. A red barrier stopped either duelists from backing out from this duel.
"As you wish, I shall take the first move. Draw! I summon TG catapult dragon. This allows me to special summon TG striker and then chain that effect to TG werewolf. Finally, TG blaster can be special summoned since I only have level 3 or under monsters." Astro smiled cooly. "The fun keeps going! Werewolf and rhino synchro summon to form TG hyper librarian! Then blaster and catapult dragon tune to form TG wonder magician!" Two synchro monsters took to the field in just one turn. "Now I draw a card thanks to Hyper librarian and finally! ACCEL SYNCHRO SUMMON! TECH GENUS BLADE BLASTER!"
Astro sped up so fast he was barely visible. Then he disappeared in a flash of green light....
