Βyakuya
This is actually based on a History assessment. Very creative. So let's see how you guys evaluate. The year is 1968. Nuclear war has broke out on the U.S. Radiation, arms, assassination, and other disasters has nearly wiped out the entire population. It is unknown what the current population is. However, a select few have been hidden in a bomb shelter underground, known to be safe from almost any nuclear attack. However, it has been months and food is beginning to decline. Luckily, it is heard the war is starting to decline soon in about a year or less. There are 12 people living in the shelter. There is only food, water, and supplies usuable only for half of the group. If they all stay, they will use up all the supplies and will starve to death. But it is enough to feed half of the group. If someone leaves the shelter, they will be exposed to the radiation and die. The task is to choose which of the 6 people will stay, and which of the 6 will have to leave or die. The 6 who will stay has to be able to live through the rest of the war, sustain sanity, and after the war, be able to reproduce and recreate a society. The other six must leave the shelter, or commit suicide for the better of the world. THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT REAL PEOPLE Who will you choose? And please say why you choose those people. If you think this is not in the right thread or whatsoever, please contact me by PM or so. Cin
Why has no one posted on this....
John Stein - His PHD in Physics would prove useful later on, but you would need to help his health. Martha Olson - Student could prove useful, but its considering other members before. Reginald Ferguson - Finance is useful, but not essential. Elyssa Von - Chemistry could prove useful. Need to consider other members first. Ronald White - Potential, but it would need to be considered. Clair Thompson - Useful degree, given mental health issues that could occur. Bryce Blaylock - Would need to be considered. Jasmine Hathaway - Age goes against her. Scott Garrett - Useful for building, age is good too. Michelle Michaels - If she could teach the skills, I'd worry about her health though. Quincy Stanley - Rebuilding help. Anne Carter - Age is the only thing going for her. So in summary: Clair Thompson - Yes, useful for mental health issues that being underground as well as the stress of it all can produced. Scott Garrett - Yes, rebuilding help is very useful provided he could figure out how to get the materials. The age is very useful for reproduction. Michelle Michaels - Yes, if her health issue could be solved, due to the GP experience. It's ability to teach other survivors if she doesn't 'die' first. Quincy Stanley - Yes, fairly young which is good for repopulation, and construction would be useful knowledge in the rebuilding. Martha Orson - Yes, age and IQ mean she could be a quicker learner, and need for young members to repopulate. Anne Carter - Yes, only because of her age, and need for repopulation if not Michelle then John Stein - For the architectual knowledge, I don't deem it completely necessary given the construction experience of Quincy, but his Physics degree coiuld prove useful.
Thinking about it....I don't know if my set up works when health is really considered.
