[Pg-16] Yugioh Summer Acadamy - Cove of Memories

Recommended Posts

Astro completed his equations qiuickly. They weren't hard, not when you need to work out how efficient a hyper celestial engine mark II is. He stood up and walked over to the door and to his favourite class. Dueling. When he saw the sign saying no DUELING his heart sank.
"Why no dueling?!" He cried.
Astro walked in, glanced at the board and scribbled down: 'Tech Genus Synchro and Exceed summoning. Accel and Delta Accel Synchro Summoning. Swarming the field with synchros.'
"This is your sheet Tejina. And a Billy Deck is named after Billy Ye. It is constructed only for dueling enjoyment and not specifically for winning."

Lexxy woke up the at 6am in the house she was sharing with Felicity, she had an hour before maths started so she had some breakfast got ready and headed out to maths 15 minuted before the class started. As she got closer to the academy she noticed there where lots of other people waiting around for the class to start, she got closer and closer to the academy and as she got the the doors the bell rang and everyone walked in.The teacher welcomed them to maths and Lexxy sat down at the back of the class with the book doodling random drawings.

--

Maths finished at 9am which Lexxy thought had gone fairly quick since she had nobody to talk to, as she made her way over to the next class which was dueling she seen Astro slowing walking and looking at the signs for the class. "Same old him, her loves dueling" She said to herself. As she walked in she though about her dueling experiences and figured the teacher could help her get better at dueling.

" Im here at last. Now i can prove how great a duelist i am. Man, i just cant wait for some dueling action." Hunter looked at his map. " So i have to go this way." Hunter followed the map which was supposed to lead him to his room. After some walking he looked up and noticed where he was. " How did i get to the port." He took another look at his map. " Oh man. Im holding the map wrong. Dang, why do i have to be so directionless." Hunter eventually reached his room. He opened the door and put his things on the floor. He then decided to sleep for the rest of the day after roaming the island for so long.

After seven days of staying in his room eating, sleeping and editing his deck, mainly eating and sleeping though, Hunter finally decided to leave his room and go and socialize with other students. "Boy, am i glad i dont have to share my room with anyone. Well i better go outside." Hunter got up, put his jacket on and left the safety of his room. " I think i might relax in the grass for a little while, and enjoy the view." Hunter went and lay down on the grass. " This is great, im living the dream. I mean, look at me, im sitting on an island for the top twenty youth duelists. Its not like im surprised that im here, i am one of the best." Hunter got up after a while and decided to walk around the island. Then he got out his map and started to head fo his lesson.

After a few hours he finally got to his class. It was duel class. "Its a good thing i left my room 5 hours early. He said to himself. Hunter took a seat around the middle area, near the back. He sat down and rested his head on the table. " Boy am i tired." He put on a mask to make it look like he was awake. "I think ill get some shut eye." Hunter yawned and fell asleep.

Felicity had, quite embarrassingly, overslept and ended up being 15 minutes late for math class. The teacher wasn't too happy with her for that but it had been punishment enough that she had been having to sit through the whole class next to some guy that smelled like the insides of a cow. As class ended she dashed quite quickly for the door, being glad to be able to breathe "unpolluted air" for the first time in over an hour. She shuddered as she saw the boy walk out and couldn't believe there were still people that hadn't been informed about personal hygiene and obviously had never heard of the concept behind deodorant.

Next class would probably be more interesting as it was dueling, it would at least be more fun than sitting down for hours next to Stinky McStink trying to do calculus.

Nova had been waiting for the others in duel class. He had finished his sums very quickly. As he saw what to do, his heart sank. He had no idea what to write. He never had the same deck. At the moment it was RFP, but it used to be dragons, and before that it was warriors. He decided to write down Aqua RFP, But it changes.. As he came back up from handing the teacher his note, the card he had picked up earlier started to glow. As he looked at it, he saw that the teacher was writing out the diffent card-types on the board. Realization dawned on him. Now he knew about this card, he could easily abuse it's power.

Ashley walked into class and toke out her notebook. Interesting. Deck straiegys. I'm sure Iko's happy with this idea. She wrote down Warrior on her piece of paper and brought it up the the teacher. After she took it Ashley went back to her seat. So Iko likes Tim. That's interesting. I have yet to like of the guys yet. It'll probably come eventually, but she kinda wants a realtionship soon those. She doesn't want to be single the whole year. That would just be sad. Ashley pulled out her deck thinking were probably going to need them.

Nova looked through his new deck. With all the varying effects, it might not work. Then again, it might just. He looked at the new "Exceed" monster he was holding. With it's effect, he could destroy anyone in his path. Aero Shark, how will you work? He thought to himself. No one seemed to be paying attention to the class. The teacher had said they could duel, so he stood up and looked around for anyone who would. Although, everyone seemed to be absorbed in conversation.

Crade finished the task that the teacher gave them very quickly, he wrote on a piece of paper what his deck was about Sacrificing a certain ammount dark monster to speccial summon others with a special effect from hand or graveyard, this special summoning has a limiti of one per turn liek a normal or tribute sumon., he got up and gave it to the teacher without a word, he went back to his sit and started looking at the other students imagin how it was to have such bondings to others since he had never shared a tear or a smille to anyone for the last 11 years of his life he had closely completely forgothen on how does that felt, he sighed a bit to loud and started looking trough his cards to stop at one in particular, "From all of the blades you are the one that I most identefy with, Forgothen...", he put his card back together and put his dack back on his winged demon eye duel disk, when he put the cards back it looked liek the eye had open widder.

Zane had decided to skip Maths class in the morning. He felt that he could spend some time by himself down at the dock. He spent the time to think about the forest the week beforehand, and to reflect on what he'd learnt of the other duelists. It'd appear that no one here shows any real skill, except Nova that is, but even he's not that good... Is this really what elite duelists are like? Am I really better than elite? He returned to the real world and slowly walked back to the academy. By the time he arrived he was late for Duel Class. He walked into the class-room, as though oblivious to anyone. He walked calmly and slowly to an empty seat, separate from anyone else and seated himself. He folded his arms and waited.

Nova noticed Zane walk into the Duel Class, alone as ever. Truth be told, Zane was the only other duelist he concidered "good" on the entire island. They had never dueled in class personally, but they had both watched each other duel, and both had presumably been impressed by the others skills. He wondered who was actually better, because even he had to admit, Zane was brilliant. Nova was surprised to find himself addmiting that, espacialy since he had always considered himself number one. Nova was usualy someone to brag, but he had to admit, he might be number two on this particular occasion.

Nova's thoughts finaly settled on the class. It was particulaly boring today, with litrallty nothing happening at all. He wondered what the teacher had planned, if anything at all. Nova was starting to get tired.

Today, nothing got done. The students had no attention during class to what they were learning about strategies and deck types. "Your homework is to make a Billy Deck. It will do within two weeks. Those who hand it in early will be allowed to duel for an entire week during my class. Now leave my sight and see you at class tomorrow morning." He commanded to all of his students. He left his pedestal and walked to his desk. At his desk, he grabbed his deck, duel disk, lunch and detention slips. Why don't the students care about anything that we are learning in school? I guess more awards will be given

Nova got up out of his seat and left. He exited through the double doors on the right. It wad time for lunch. Nova really wasnt that hungry, but he decided to go anyway, as there would be nothing else to do. he made his way through the lockers room, pausing to lock his. He made his way into the all you can eat lunchroom. No one else was there, no surprise. He went up to one of the counters, and served himself some crab, with a soup on the side. He made his way to a table, and slowly began to eat his food. His mind settled on his homework. A billy deck wasnt that hard to make, in fact, it was quite easy. No one else seemed bothered about the homework though.

Kaden stood with a quick rise. He grabbed all of his stuff and used the 5 minute transition time to throw all his stuff in his small locker. He headed over to the lunch room and got a bowl of pudding with a pepsi and sat at the middle table, witch was between 2 other medium sized tables. He spooned at his pudding with boredum. "I wonder if the other guys will hang-out here again like we did last week. Heh, I wonder if we'll be doing dares again..." Kaden mumbled. He sighed and opened his pepsi with a crack and sipped from it slowly. Relaxing and calming himself from the painful and cold memories of his child-hood.

Finally! Class is done! Ashley thought to herself packing up her stuff. She got out of her desk and went to the lunch room. She saw Nova getting some food. Nova's kinda cute! Ashley thought to herself. She picked up a tray and a plate. She grabbed a fork and knife, then went to the fruits and grabbed a apple. After that she decided to take a bunch of the meat foods there. She also grabbed a bit of salad. After her plate was piled up as far as she could get it she went and sat down.
"Hey Nova! Wanna come sit with me and Iko when she gets here?" Ashley asked politely.

Sienna stood up, quite bored to be honest. She liked work and all, but Duel Class went too long. WAY too long. And she didn't even know anythign about Billy Decks! Yeah, named after Billy Ye, but it wsn't like THAT was helpful. She walked out the class room, all her work stuff in her small bag. Sometimes, I wonder WHY I accepted. Maths = Fun. Science = Fun. History = Yawn. Duel Class = Yawn. Only two awesome classes. Agh
Walking into the locker room, she twiddled with her lock and dumped her bag inside, carefully making sure her Duel Disk didn't get damaged. Then she closed her locker and strode to the cafeteria. She grabbed a plate and put some bacon on it, and grabbed a bottle of water before sitting at one of the medium sized tables. Her usual haunt. Like how she always had the window seat in the class rooms. If no windows, the back corner.
With a sigh, she twisted the lid of her bottle, and took a sip, waiting for her friends to arrive and sit down.

Ciel stood up slowly, gathered her things, and walked out the door briskly and slowly. She entered into the lunch room, looking down on her wristwatch which read "12:04". "Why is it that classes seem to take a few minutes, but they actually last hours?" Ciel thought, wondering about the strange occurrence. She took a seat off to the right of the room, a fair distance away from the other tables. As she ate, she began to formulate the Billy Deck she would hand in to her Dueling teacher.

Crade packed his stuff and got up and went trough the door without a word as always. He walked to the lunch room silently, only to be broken when he got his deck on hands and said calmly, "I have a strange feeling about this place, it seems... so weird to me...". When he got to the lunch room door he put his deck back into his duel disk and entered the room. He saw the food but he wasn't hungry or needing food at the moment, so he decided to go back at his reading. He sat on a table on a corner and placed his deck in front of him, he then got his black book and resumed his reading like he normaly does. He muthered to himself while reading, "Hun...why does I never understand this book as good as the other 9 ones..." he then sighed and closed his book, he put it next to his deck. He then got up and went get a cold tea to have something to drink while reading.

Nova saw Kaden walk into the lunchroom. He was sick and tired of being lonely, so decided to go and sit with him. "Hey Kaden." he said, setteling down on the bench. Nova wasnt one for conversation, so hoped this wouldnt be arkward. Nova had never really spoken to Kaden, and so didnt really know him. "So, what are you gonna do today?" he asked, putting on hids friendly smile, although probably failing to do so. Nova was now getting a strong feeling that this was going to be very arkward. But, there was nothing he could do now. With any luck, he could befriend Kaden, and as it seemed everyone else liked him, that was another bonus.

Under the breathe of her lips, she muttered "You have a crush already?" which was directed towards Ashley. Iko sat down with the lunch she had gotten right next to Ashley. She ate at a moderate rate, not trying to shove anything down. There are not many cute guys here like I had imagined, if only my thoughts were to be made into a reality. All of her food was gone moments after she had her thought. "Hey Ashley, you thinking of getting a date with Nova yet?" she muttered again so that only Ashley would hear.

Kaden leaned forward at the table and eaten some of his pudding when he caught Ciel out of the corner of his eye. He sighed again, this time he kept getting happier. "Either I love her, or I'm bi-polar and she just so happens to be the unlucky girl that is right there when I mood-swing to being the happiest man alive... either way, I'm screwed in some way... I wonder if her parents will let me crash at her place when the summer is ove-" Kaden's thought process had slipped when he heard Nova. "Hey man, I was just thinking, I wonder if the usual crew and I are going to be daring eachother to eat stupid things or something... to be honest, a talk about cards would be nice." He said with a smile.

"It could take a awhile. It seems as if he hardly even knows I exist. Well shut up, I saw your note to Tim. I'm sure you like him. You want to meet him all alone in the woods that's asking for a I like you." Ashley said slowly eating her food. "Besides all the other guys are kinda ugly. Only Nova stands out." Ashley said quietly.
"So what the hell was a Billy Deck again? I mean I don't care about it, but I better make the stupid deck." Ashley asked Iko.
After saying that taking another bite of her food. It was very good for a change. Last week it kinda sucked.

"Daring? To be honest, i'd rather talk about cards too, i know pretty much all of them." Nova wasnt surprised. Stupid dares sounded exactly like the things Kaden's friends would enjoy. Kaden did seem like a nice enough guy, but a bit too layed back and relaxed, something Nova did not like too much. Nova still hoped he could make friends with Kaden though, he didnt want to spend his entire time at the academy alone. Nova had changed alot since coming here, and that was good for him. He used to be a bit to obnoxius and self-centered, but he was now a lot more kind, and he wanted it to stay that way.

"Need some help with getting Nova? I know how to get guys! And Tim is cute!" she said modestly. She grabbed her notebook in both palms of her hand and lifted it up in the air. She grew an evil look on her face and swung he notebook directly into Ashley's direction, but she bent her elbows so it would not hit her. "HOW DARE YOU LOOK THROUGH MY STUFF WITHOUT PERMISSION!" she screamed. When the notebook passed Ashley's face, she threw it back the other way missing Ashley's face again. She put her notebook back into her bag and said with a happy face, "Are we at an understanding?"

Kaden shrugged and chuckled a little. "Yah, last week, one of the guys got sick and ran to the nurse's office. I'm glad he made it, I would have felt bad if I laughed that much and he wound up getting lost... but Ugh, yeah." Kaden got a little nervous about talking to nova, if he got too competive about cards, Kaden's cool and calm composure would tare open and he'll go back to the way the streets molded him to be. That cold animal of a duelist he was. Kaden sighed and took another spoonful of pudding. "I'm sure glad he's okay now. So, whats your favorite card?"

Sienna, after a moments waiting for her friends, decided they were gonna be a bit later than usual. Looking around, she saw Iko and Ashley sitting on another table. Doing an in mind shrug, she picked up her stuff and walked over, sitting across from the two. "Hey!' She said cheerfully, eating some of the bacon on her plate. She sipped her drink thoughtfully A Billy Deck? Damn, I better do some reasearch tonight before going to the Bonfire; And besides, I got that new laptop Lennette and Samu- I mean Mother and Father sent. I can use that to do some quick reasearch. As always, their timing is impeccable. She smiled inwardly, and took another sip of her water.
