[Pg-16] Yugioh Summer Acadamy - Cove of Memories

"Sure why not? But anyway I might come the card shop to get some booster spell cards. I heard there was a new booster for my deck." Ashley bored out of her mind and really just willing to do anything to keep herself entertained through out the day.
"But yeah it's beautiful out there. I love explore incase you didn't know. I'm a very adventurous girl. I'm just saying, but I never really liked synchros. They kinda bore me. They're all over powered too. But before I get a rampage of pissed off synchro users I should probably shut up bout that"

"I've been good. Notmuch has happened other than homework and the like." She glanced at a watch she had strapp to her right wrist. "Hey guys, looks like we spent ages chatting up a storm; It's time for Maths class! We don't wanna be late, otherwise Ms Mysterium will send us out of the school! And we don't want that, right? She smiled cheerfully and began jogging to Maths class.
When she arrive, she went straight in. Ms Mysterium prefered that everyone be ready in class and not loittering in the hall. Looking for a seat, she found one near the window, which was where she sat usually. And where she sat today.

Dialma woke up to find it to be 630 "Oh crap I'm going to be late to class." He quickly puts on his uniform and heads out to the arena with his duel disk. He runs into the building and slows down just walking at a brisk pace and heads into the classroom without looking and runs into the door. "ow." He rubs his forehead and opens the door and walks in. He sees Sienna in there and says"hey hows it going? " He walks over to her and sits down next to her. "ya i was going to be late but i saw that it was six thirty. So how have you been lately?"

Samantha continued walking to her maths class. She couldn't believe that Astro believed her lie. The truth was that Samantha could Accel Synchro summon. She had only ever done it once and she smashed the person who she was versing though she could do it. She then made it to the class room and saw that everyone was talking. She scanned around the room and saw that most of the people in the room she knew which was a good sign. She sat down next to Sienna. Then she gazed upwards and waited for the teacher to arrive

Tim continued wandering to class. When he left his dorm his room mate was still asleep so he wondered what happened with him. When he finally made it to the class his room mate was already seated. He walked in and took a seat next to him and said, "Hey I must of taken along time to get to class because you were asleep when I left," he said as he gazed up and saw that most of the class was full though there were a few empty seats around. He then awaited for the teacher to come.

Ciel smiled, holding Kaden's hand tightly. "Oh, sure." She said. "And to think that just a week ago, he was so shy... He's really changed." Ciel thought. "Well, shall we go, then?" Ciel asked, putting a foot forward. "But... He's still as impatient as ever. I guess that's why I've been keeping our relationship a secret, but maybe I shouldn't be hiding it." Ciel thought. "Hmm... Well, I've got all day to decide, I shouldn't be rushing this so much... Maybe I'll tell them at Bonfire Night tonight. I wonder if that would make him happy...?" Ciel thought. She reached her free hand into her right pocket, grasping the Geode crystal she kept.

Kaden walked Ciel to class with a big smile on his face. They split up at the clearing just before the acadamy, as planned and usual. Kaden ran up the steps and took the long route to class to make it more secretive. He would do anything for Ciel. He sighed as he walked into class with a frown and sat at a table wondering if the usual crew of guys would hang-out with him again today like all the other days. His notebook sat infront of him. The pencil he used is in the rings that hold the notebook together. He fished through his deck and took out a few cards to look at and read till class started.

Silas walked into the Maths room, bored and waiting to see if there would be any difficult problems, and what level the maths would actually be at. He took a seat at the very back of the room near the door, before grabbing out both his notebook and his pen, a blue one with flared white wings at the top of it. Looking around, he could see that there were people talking around the room, but before he could comment of that, the Maths teacher walked into the room, waiting for the class to fall silent.

After Ciel split up with Kaden, she proceeded to her own classroom, taking a seat close to the front. She pulled out a schedule, as Ciel had a fairly bad memory for such details. "Okay... 6:30 is... Math." Ciel thought, scanning the list. The schedule itself was rather small, since there were only four courses, but Ciel hadn't quite gotten used to spending her summer on an island, so far away from the mainland. She looked up at the front desk, and noticed that the teacher for the class was currently missing. "That's funny." She said quietly to herself. "I wonder where our teacher is?"

"I've really got to tell her she's cute." He heard Tim. "Oh nothin' buddy and i guess you took a long time well i took it running and hit my head on the classroom door." He looked over to Sienna and he said ""Sienna. Can I ask you something?" He had been building up the nerve to ask her out. He had been practicing all this week and finally got to it. He started to mess with his pen for and answer and fuddled with his ace card, Man eater bug. This had been his first card ever his grandfather had givin it too him but he decided to leave it alone for now.

"Speak your mind Ashley! I like hearing other peoples point of views on Synchro Monsters. I am more of a ritual duelist, but I can expand my horizon." Iko grabs her notebook and turns to a new page before math class actually starts. She also grabs her pencil to take notes on what she will be learning in class today. When she grabbed her pencil, she accidentally torn part of the page which contained the information of the new deck she was planning on making."What cards were you planning on getting Ashley?" Crap, and the card informations in hardly easy to read. I will tape it in history class.

Ichizu opened his eyes, and scratched his head, confused. A moment later, a bell rang from a tower. Ichizu's expression changed from confused to shocked. "AAHHH!!! I'M LATE!!!" shouted Ichizu, changing his clothes and runs to the school. As he reaches the classroom, his fellow classmate stared at him. His teacher turned to Ichizu and frowned. He took a quick glance at his clothing. He was in his school uniform. He walked to a seat. There was a golden mirror. His reflection looked back at him. "My hair...", Ichizu sighed. His hair was tangled and messy. He turned his head towards Astro and Sienna. "Nice battle yesterday", Ichizu smiled at them. Ichizu sat beside Astro and Sienna, the 2 duelists who had a battle yesterday. "Oh, I haven't introduced myself. My name's Ichizu Takeo", said Ichizu, with a laughing expression on his face.

Karaki had been waiting in a dark corner of her classroom, watching children come in. She counted 20. "Good. Everyone is present." She smiled, and swept from the shadows. Several student gasped in surprise; To them, she'd appeared from thin air. She grinned. "Welcome students." She glared at everyone. "Remember, I do not tolerate talking, conversations or back chat of any kind in this class. You are to do your work, and only ask RELEVANT questions, like how to do a particular equation."
She turned to the blackboard, gripping a piece of chalk. Without haste, she wrote out the first equation.
Take three Level six or higher Yu-Gi-Oh monsters from your deck. Add together their levels, and divide by four. Add (Twelve divided by six) minus (four plus three) plus (one plus seventeen) time (five times six)
She refaced the class. "Do this equation twice. Each time use three different monster cards. While you do this, I will write up some more equations. Now work!"

*********************

Sienna sighed, and dug in her bag for her notepad and pencil, and her deck. She picked three monsters. "7 + 7 + 10" She muttered, scribbling it down. "Equals 24 divided by 4 = 6. Add 12divedby6, AKA two, - 4+3, AKA 7, + 1 + 17 x 5x6, AKA 30, = ..... Ummm... 19 x 30.... umm.... 300. 9 x 3 is 27, add 0 is 270. 300 + 270 = 570." She thought, scribbling her calculations down, and pushing her loose hair behind her ear. "Now for another three cards."

(Pretty simple unless you end up with DECIMALS!)

"My god no. I don't want to piss people off. But I really was planning on getting booster pack for my deck. Maybe I'll get something useful for my deck, but really it's in a booster pack it probably won't happen." Ashley said taking out calculator, and closing here book.
"Well I wonder what we'll learn today. Probably crap could care less about, but my parents only let me come here if I would do my school work. So what you planning to get at the store? I might also get some snacks from the treat store next to the cad store."

Iko writes down everything that was written on the blackboard, but still thinking of her new deck, she quickly turned the page back to her deck information and wrote down two more cards that will help her create it. She kept looking at the board so the teacher would not see what she was doing, since she was sitting in the back of the class. "Life Creating Fairy seems like an interesting card that could help me with it, but how would I use it?" she thought to herself. She turned to a cleaner page to right down a strategy that could work with this card, but she got nothing, so she began to adding cards to the equation that she did not write down.

In an instant, she rose her hand because she wanted to ask the teacher something that had to do with the equation on the board. "I know the five hundred forty point five is the answer, but what will this do with the importance in an actually dueling situation? We would never actually have to work with this." she asked the teacher. She wrote down every card she was planning on getting at the store and passed Ashley the sheet so the she could have a quick look at them.

Tim puts his head in his book. I hate maths Tim thought to himself. He starts to write out the the equation. 3 x 6 / 4 + 2 - 7 + 18 x 30 was the equation he came up with when he removed the brackets. 18 / 4 + 2 - 7 + 540 was what he got after the Multiplication. 4.5 + 2 - 7 + 540 Tim then got this after dividing. 6.5 - 7 + 540 he then got 6.5 after the first addition. -0.5 + 540 that was what he got after subtracting. 539.5 was the number he finally got down to. He assumed that it was wrong though

Ciel pulled out three level 6 cards. Surprisingly enough, all three came from different owners. One belonged to herself, one was from her brother, and one was from her brother's friend. The three cards were "Prime Material Dragon", her brother's friend's card. The second was her brother's card, "Mana Kaiser". The third was her own, "Freedom Star Larvvel". "Okay, so... Six times three is 18, divided by four, which is 4.5. Then, twelve divided by 6 is two, plus 4.5 is 6.5, minus seven is negative 0.5... Then, by order of operations, one plus seventeen, or 18, is multiplied by 5 times 6, or 30, which equals 540. Then, add negative 0.5, which is the same as 540 minus 0.5, which equals 539.5." Ciel worked out the problem quickly, sliding the three cards back into her deck. "Next set of three, then."

Dialma was waiting for an answer when the teach appeared out of a corner of the room he gasped. "hos had see been there?" He thought. "Guess it doesn't matter anyway and whats that equation she's writing oh how i hate chalk boards." He took out a note pad and his deck. He was done in under 5 minutes. He had liked math and science since he had been a little boy. He waited for everyone else to finish.

Chenea walked into the math class and Said "Hi guys." Then he walked over to Karaki and said "May i have a word with you?" He waited patiently for a reply. he noticed the equation written on the board. He said "Hm... An interesting equation but effective. i like it i remember having to do this in Collage. Brings back old memories." He called out to the class. "Don't worry it will get easer the more you do it." he had forgoten he had asked karaki a question I'm sorry karaki what was your awnser."

(6+8+7)/4+(12/6)-(4+3)+(1+17)X(5X6). Silas looked at the sum before writing down his answer 540.25, with correct working in his book, including doing the brackets, then multiplying and dividing before adding or subtracting the answers. He looked up again and then wrote down (8+8+12)/4+(12/6)-(4+3)+(1+17)X(5X6), for the next one and figured it out to be a much simpler answer, no decimals and instead being just 542. It was a much simpler answer though remarkably close to the previouus one, an observation which he wrote down in his book next to the sums, as he had laid out the sums with the question on top and the answer underneath with no working.

Ichizu quickly went through his deck. A Level 6, a Level 6 and a Level 8 monster. "6 + 6 + 8", whispered Ichizu to himself, "6 plus 6 equals 12 and add it by 8 equals.. equals.. 20!" His confidence grew as he work through the questions. "20 divide by 4 equals 5, 12 divided by 6 is 2, so 5 plus 2 equals 7", Ichizu said to himself as he scribbled it into his notepad. "4 plus 3 equals 7, 7 minus 7 equals 0, 1 plus 17 equals 18 so 0 plus 18 equals.. 18, of course!" cheered Ichizu quietly, not wanting the teacher to see him talking. He looked at the blackboard. "5 times 6 equals 30, 18 times 30 equals...", said Ichizu. He began to tremble slowly and as fear overtook him, he wasn't able to finish the equation. But Ichizu was intelligent in Maths so he started to focus and concentrate on the question. A smile appeared on his face as he scribbled the answer to the equation. "18 times 10 equals 180, 180 times 3 equals 540!" said Ichizu happily. One more equation to go, Ichizu thought.

Like the good Kid in class that Kaden always is, he gets right to the work. Writting down the steps as he pulled his three monsters that levels added up to 24. "Because 6+8+10=24; divided by Four equals six Adding Twelve dived by six, Witch is really two, Minus four Plus Four, Witch is really 7, Plus one Plus seventeen times five times six, witch is really thirty, Equals nineteen times thirty, three-hundred. nine times three is twenty-seven, add a zero is Two-hundred and seventy. Three hundred Plus two-hundred is Five Hundred and Seventy!" Kaden chuckled, Math came easy.

Crade puted down his drawings and started the maths that the teacher gave to everyone, he quickly wrote down the following math to start, (6 + 6 + 6) : 4 + (12 : 6) - (4 + 3) + (1 + 17) x (5 x 6), he then star muthering "18 : 4 = 2,25, so, 2,25 + 2 - 7 + 18 x 30, and it ends up..." he quickly thought the maths while he wrote them down, "-2,75 + 540 = 538,25." we muthered to himself while wrote it down, he then went for the next one, (7 + 8 + 9) : 4 + (12 : 6) - (4 + 3) + (1 + 17) x (5 x 6), he quickly made the following maths on his papers, 24 : 4 + 2 - 7 + 18 x 30 = 6 + 2 - 7 + 540 = 541..., after he was doen with the ones that he teacher told all to do he started starring trough a window waiting for the next exercices.

Ashley wrote down bunch of number and made an equation. She didn't hear word the teacher said. She didn't care though. Math sucks! I don't know what I'm doing but i don't care! Her equation looked like this: 34 + 22 / 2 - 20 x 10 = 130. Soon after about 5 if those random equations she just started to doodle. It would look like she was working, but really she wasn't. But just in case she'd stop doodling and copied what the teacher put on the board. really want get out of here. Screw math! No one cares, beside when will we ever need this? Man if I get bored in Math this quickly I wonder how quickly I'll fall asleep in history

Karaki smiled. "Let me tell you all something. You've been doing maths for a week, since Day 1. You all know that my equations and tests usually have nothing to do with Yu-Gi-Oh. I simply told you to use some cards from you deck because everyone's decks are different. A combination of any three cards can make the end result completely different to another's answer." She said.
She then turned to Chenea. "Wait a sec" She turned to the class. "Once you've done the two equations, you can leave and go to Duel Class."
She turned back the Chenea. "So what is it you want to talk to me about?"

*****************

Sienna put her three cards back in her deck, and picked three more. "(6+9+8)/4+(12/6)-(4+3)+(1+17)x(5x6). 6+8+9=23. Ugh. 23/4 = 5.75. Fun. 5.75 + 7.75 - 7 = 0.75 + 18 = 18.75 x 30 =.... hmmn..... 562.5!" She put her notepad back in her bag and packed up her cards. "You done Samantha?" Sienna asked. "Cause we can leave once you're done."

"Math...simple equations like this shouldn't bother me too much" Akari thought, pulling out three fairy-type monsters. "Darklord Desire, Athena, and Splendid Venus" she muttered as she looked down at the cards. "The sum of the monsters' Levels is 25 - divided by four would equal 6.25...follow that up by adding two, subtracting seven, adding another eighteen, and multiplying by 30. That comes together to 577.5" she thought as she quickly jotted down the answer.

"And now to do it again" Akari thought as she slid out three more cards from her deck. She looked down to see Archlord Kristya, Darklord Superbia, and Darklord Asmodeus. "This one seems much simpler" she thought as she started to work out the equation. "The sum would be 24 - divided by 4 comes to 6. 6 adding two, subtracting seven, adding eighteen, and multiplying by 30 ends up being 577" she quickly wrote down the answer and slipped the cards back into her deck.

Ciel stood up, having finished with her second equation already. "This form of equation, using the first card as a level 10, the second as a level 9, and the third as a level 8, equals 541.75." Ciel thought, scribbling the answer down in her notebook. She slid her other three cards back into her deck, and walked out into the hall. She proceeded directly to the next class, Dueling. While she preferred history to dueling, the game was still something she particularly enjoyed over many other things. "Dueling time again... Wonder who my opponent will be?" Ciel thought.
