Zane chuckled to himself. [i]I knew there wouldn't be any point watching this.[/i] He thought to himself. [i]There's no way an Arcana Force deck could work its against a Mushroom Man, let alone a... decent deck. What were they thinking when they let this girl even come here anyway?[/i] He wanted to turn away, because he figured he already knew the outcome, but something just made him feel compelled to watch the rest of the duel. [i]Well, I suppose when these two are done I can get some practice for myself in afterwards.[/i] He chuckled to himself and continued watching as Sienna made her first move.

Sienna smiled and drew another card, adding it to her hand. "I think I'll srtart this with something nice and simple. I summon Arcana Force 0 - The Fool, in Attack Mode!"
The said monster appeared before her.
"Now, as you should well know, when I summon an Arcana Force monster, I have to flip a coin to determine it's effect." She rummaged in her pocket and pulled out the coin. She tossed it and caught it, glancing at the results.
"Note side up. AKA, tails!" She grinned. "Now Arcana Force 0 - The Fool negates the effects of any of your Spells, Traps and Effect Monsters' effects that target this card, and destros them. Now isn't that interesting?" She pulled another card from her hand, and slotted it into a slot, making a holographic card appear on the ground. "I skip my Battle Phase and place one card face down. Your move Astro."

[Mecha Love]

Astro laughed. "Except my Hyper Librarian doesn't use its effect for destruction. I draw! What do ya know? The card I needed! I Summon another Tech Genus catapult dragon! Then, I can Special Summon a Tuner monster from my hand thanks to my Dragons effect. So Special Summon Tech Genus Prototype! Now this card is quite handy! First of all its a Tuner monster, then during a Synchro Summon it gains 1 Level, which makes it Level 2. Then, the monster I special Summon isn't affected by the effects of Traps this turn. The only downside is that the Synchro Summoned monster is the only monster able to attack this turn. So, lets go with another SYNCHRO SUMMON! TECH GENUS GLADIATOR! SHOW YOURSELF!"
Another Tech Genus monster appeared in a blast of white light. Made from the synchro summon. Then Astro drew another card due to the effect of Hyper Librarian.
"Now attack! And inflict 2300 points of damage to my opponent with piercing damage!"
The galdiator attacked the Srcana force fool inflictuing damage between its DEF and the Tech Genus' ATK. [4000-2300=1700]

All other Synchro monsters on the Field cannot attack this turn.

"Now this duel is getting interesting. I wonder what that arcana girl is gonna do now. I mean seriously if she cant even duel, whats she doing here. She better play something better than that weird looking monster if shes gonna have any chance of winning." Lync thought for a minute and decided to support sienna, hoping that if she has an extra boost of confidence whilst dueling it would make the duel more interesting. "Come on sienna, you can do it. Show him what arcana cards can do, if they can do anything. Either way you have to at least make him lose some life points. So hurry up and show him whos boss. Prove that stronger than him."

Sienna winced as her Life Points dropped down to 1700. "Ah well. At least I'm still alive to make my next draw!" She declared, drawing a card.
"Ok, I summon Arcana Force III - The Empress in Attack Mode! Now to flip the coin!"
Sienna tossed the coin up again, caught it, and looked at the results.
"Note side up! AKA, Tails! This means whenever you normal summon or set a monster, I send one card to my graveyard. Oh well. A pity. But it dosn't matter, because I'm activating, from my hand, Double Summon! You know the effect. Everyone does. So I summon Arcana Force I - The Magician! Coin toss!"
"And it's fower side up! AKA, Heads! This means that when you activate a Spell Card, it's ATK doubles that of the original until my End Phase. But no matter. By sending these three monsters to the graveyard," here Sienna slotted the three cards into her graveyard slot. "I can summon the card that can spell you demise. Come forth, Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler!"
The air quivered as the huge dragon appeared, a force to be reckoned with. Behind it, Sienna flippedd the coin again, checking it's results. "Ooh, lucky me, it's flower side up! Heads! This means Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler can attack twice in the same Battle Phase! It does have the disadvantage of becoming a Defense mode monster until my End Phase next turn, but no matter. ARCANA FORCE EX- THE DARK RULER, attack Astro's Tech Genus Gladiator!"

Lexxy was amazed, it had gone from her and her cousin Astro talking to Astro playing in his first duel at the academy, Lexxy backed away the the duel unfolded and it looked as though the duel was going Astro's way.She was suprised by the amount of people watching the duel as the 2 duelists had been surrounded by a circle of many people eagerly watching the duel. "Astro you certainly have grown from when we used to play as children" Lexxy murmured to herself. She stopped as soon as Astro was about to make his next turn.

[Myst]

Ichizu glanced from Astro and Sienna. He had heard loud voices and bangs coming from outside and was curious to see what was going on. He was excited when it was a Duel. He expected it to be a fight like those teenagers back at home who clashes into each other. Ichizu was amazed when he saw the cards were - alive! [color="#4169E1"]"I never thought they would be alive. We only treated it as a trading card game back at home. I never knew Yu-Gi-Oh was so important!",[/color] he whispered. The monsters were so interesting, none of them Ichizu had seen in his hometown. [color="#4169E1"]"Oh wait, I have to get my Deck out, in case someone would challenge me to a Duel",[/color] he said excitedly. Ichizu pulled out his Deck from his pocket, the cards were put inside a sleeve of green in the back. Ichizu glanced from side to side, hoping someone would battle him.

Nova was watching the duel. One relied on synchro summoning. That was easily overcome. The other relied on luck. That was enough said. Nova was already forming a stratergy to beat both duelists easily. He wondered how this school was going to work. He also wondered why they took his duel runner. He had made it himself, and it was his most prized possesion. He had never told anyone about it though. He looked back at the duel. The girl had summoned a powerfull beast, but the boy had three face-down cards. This duel was starting to get interesting, and it looked like he was going to be challenged after all. He would duel whoever won, just to keep things interesting. He went back to his dorm, and started to edit his deck to face both of these odd duelists.

[Lyncster]

"Hey you hows it going." Lync came barging into the room where a guy was editing his deck. " My names Lync, nice to meet ya." Lync jumped onto one of the beds. " I guess this makes me and you rommates huh. Its gonna be fun, trust me. Why dont you come outside and we watch that duel thats going on. Ive been watching it, its been awsome so far." Lync got up and walked over to where the guy was editing his deck. " Nice cards. Anyway, lets go watch the duel. By the way whats your name?"

[Dementuo]

Ciel had returned to her previous train of thought, still staring out over the ocean. She was now thinking about events that had occured nearly a hundred years ago, such as the rise and fall of the first Yu-Gi-Oh, the first Game King. Her eyes shifted closer to land, her thoughts also shifting, now to the year ahead. "Wonder what the classes here will like." She thought. "There's supposed to be twenty people here... I wonder who they are?" Ciel felt the presence of another person behind her seconds later. She turned around, now looking at Kaden. "Is there something I can help you with?" She asked.

[Mecha Love]

"Activate Trap Card! Bad Tune! What this does, is it Un-Synchros my monster and the attack is negated. So on with your second attack!" Alex called.
[i]This duel is starting to really interest me. I wonder what other tricks she has up her sleeve. I do wonder.[/i] He looked over at his opponent and smiled. [b]"I'm really enjoying this duel! But activate quick Synchro Summoning which allows me to re-synchronize my mosters. Thus your attack was utterly useless! However, continue with your next attack!"[/b]

[i]Well, well, well, looks like people are already trying to overcome me. Little do they know how much Tech Genus have evolved. Not only Synchro but also Exceed and a bit of fusion. As well as my little secret....[/i]

Nova looked at the boy. "My name's Nova." he said, slightly surprised. "And i'd rather not watch the duel right now, i'm trying to improve my deck," He said, sliping a Probability Change in his deck. There was no way that he could lose now. "And anyway, those duelist aren't very good, the girl has no stratergy, and the boy relies heavily on synchro summoning, both which can be easily overcome." Nova wondered why the boy suddenly thought they were friends. Soon, he would be dueling, and then there would be all hell to pay.

Zane sighed. [i]This duel is boring me.[/i] He thought to himself. [i]Neither of these two should even have come here, and right now the outcome is very obvious. Either he's just wasting his cards and he's going to stop her attack, or she's just going to completely destroy him. Considering this is an academy for the elites, I feel ashamed to see such weak duelists.[/i] He turned, and began to walk away, however, instead of returning to his dorm he walked down to the port. He then returned to his thoughts. [i]Am I really the only good duelist here, or are those two just the exceptions...[/i] He took in a deep breath of the sea breeze. [i]Well, it's nice either way to be free of city life, it just appears I have to be the best here too by a landslide.[/i] He gazed out onto the ocean. [i]Mum, Dad... I know you'll never believe in me, but I'm going to prove I can duel better than anyone else, without getting in stupid accidents...[/i]

"Well i guess your right, but still wouldnt you want to learn their different strategies. Then if one of them challenge you, then you can easily overcome anything they throw at ya." Lync looked at nova whilst he edited his deck. " So what kind of a deck do you use. You must be pretty good if your one of the 20 students here. In fact you must be extra powerful, if your in the same top 20 as me." Lync walked around the room in a crcle for a while then went back to nova. " Hey, so out of all 20 of us where would you place yourself."

As Felicity had gotten all of her things sorted out she decided to head outside, the beach seemed like a good choice. Most of the students would probably be there anyways. Before she left she had switched her underwear for a red bikini so she could go for a swim if she so wished and also grabbed a bag to stuff a towel in. Walking back from the beach and still being wet would probably not be the wisest idea. Not only would she look silly, but she would probably catch a cold as well.

As she had made her way down to the beach she noticed a large group of students gathered in a circle, and she could see the hologram of a large monster within it. "A duel?" she mumbled to herself, being surprised. Then she realized that all of the students here were duelists so of course it wouldn't be especially rare to see duels. As she didn't really have anything better to do, and she did enjoy watching duels, she decided to head up to the crowd and watch as well.

Nova smiled. "That's easy. I'm number 1. I am the best duelist here by far. I have almost every card in the known world. You would be surprised what people drop in the streets!" This much was true. Nova had always found cards in the street, some extremely rare. "Currently i'm using a dragon deck, but thats soon to change." This was also true. Nova never kept the same deck for more than a month. Soon it was time to change his deck. Nova was known for his flexibility.
There was going to be a new stragergy to learn. Nova's thereoy was that if he learnt all different statergies, then he would be able to find a way to beat those stratergies.

[Alexis Rhodes]

Lexxy watched as she seen Astro talking to himself. "Astro keep it up" She shouted. Lexxy then seen girl walking down the beach in a red bikini, Lexxy didn't have a roommate yet so she decided to go talk to her. She pushed past the crowd and ran over to her, "Hey there my names Lexxy nice to meet you". As she waited for an answer she started to think she had seen her before.

[Master Red]

She jumped a bit as a girl suddenly called out very near her. She hadn't seen her coming so it was understandable, it wasn't like she was antisocial or something. "Oh, hi there, I'm Felicity Blossom, nice to meet you too" She answered politely and smiled. She thought she recognized the voice of this girl, but she couldn't be too sure, she'd heard many students talk today so she couldn't be so sure. "How's the duel going?" She asked, and then added "I just came here you see" and smiled, almost apologetically.

"Number one huh. Im sorry but your sadly mistaken. You mean number two, because number one around here is me not you or anyone else understand. I hope you got that, because its the truth." Lync stopped for a minute and started thinking. He just could not wait to duel, the urge was killing him so he came with an idea. " Hows about we prove which one of us really is the more powerful, in fact i know the perfect way to prove which of us is stronger." Lync started to grin. " All we need to do is duel then we will know for sure."

"Fine by me." Nova said, Grabing his deck, and slotting it in his duel disk. "I should warn you though, i've never lost." Nova may have seemed overconfident, but he was the best. Soon, no one would stand in his way. there would be no one who could beat him. A small smirk appeared on his mouth. No one here was any good. Even this boy couldn't beat him. He briefly wondered what sort of cards this boy used in his deck. It didn't really matter, he would form a stratergy to beat them.

"I'll go first!" Nova drew his card, and smiled. "First, i'll summon my Vanguard of the Dragon in ATK mode! (1700). And i'll use his special abillity! By discarding a Dragon-Type monster from my hand, he gains 300 ATK points!" Nova discarded his Light and Darkness Dragon. "And now, i will remove my Vanguard from play to special summon my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon in ATK mode! (2800). And his Special Abillity allows me to summon my Dragunity Arma Leyvaten in ATK mode! (2600). And HIS Abillity lets me equip him with the Light and Darkness Dragon in my Grave! Turn End!"

Lync smiled to himself. " Thats the spirit." Lync got out his duel disk and his deck. He shuffled his deck then placed it in his duel disk. "You sure you wanna do this, because your totally gonna lose. Ive got cards youve never even seen before. You see my deck is made by the legendary maximillion pegasus. I designed it myself, and he liked so he decide to turn them into real cards. So, im warning you, you better be ready to recieve a beat down." Lync drawed his five cards.

Zane returned to his normal state of mind and turned to return to the main part of the island. [i]I suppose I may as well head to my room, I wonder if my roommate's arrived yet...[/i] He began to walk, rather briskly to his room where he had left his belongings. Along the way he became side-tracked, and decided he'd have a look in the forest surrounding the academy. [i]This is such a weird feeling... I've never been interested in anything outside of general city life before... so why am I suddenly taking an interest in this forest... There must be something about this place, and I'm gonna find out what it is.[/i] He continued walking deeper into the forest, determined to see if there was some source of energy that attracted him to it.

Lexxy remembered where she had seen the girl before, she was walking up to the house when she was walking down to the beach but didnt take any notice of her. "Hi Felicity , have you got a house mate yet? I havent unpacked my stuff yet and If you would'nt mind I think it would be fun if us two shared and got to know eachother a bit." Lexxy then thought of Felicity's other question, "The duels hotting up now, thats my cousin dueling and I really want him to win, do you want to go over and watch the end?" Lexxy waited for an answer as she looked back over to the duel to see monsters being destroyed.

Lync drew one card. " My draw." Lync smiled. "Well ill start off by summoning my impro cloaker in attack mode (300 att). Now ill activate the spell card black hole to destroy all monsters on the field. I bet your thinking why i destroyed my own monster, its because of his effect. When impro cloaker is destroyed by the effect of a card i can special summon one cloaker monster from my deck, and i choose whight knight cloakerin attack mode (1600att) How do ya like that huh, im just as good as you ya know. And im not done yet.

"Well, that was useless. When my Light and Darkness Dragon Leaves the field, All cards on my field are destroyed, and then i Special summon my Dragunity Arma Leyvaten in ATK mode. And his abillity equips Light And Darkness Dragon to him! This is the power of my Infinte loop! Nothing can break this combo! Soon I will win!" Nova Laughed. There was nothing this boy could do to beat him at all. He was completely unbeatable.
