[Pg-16] Yugioh Summer Acadamy - Cove of Memories

Recommended Posts

"Memory lost by a ghost? Interesting, I might want to face it." said Iko curiously. She walked a little passed Ashley and turned to face her head to head. "Just think about it, if you win, you become a known duelist then you are right now. I have you if I lose, so it would be no worries with that." Iko added. Iko continued to walk backwards, facing Ashley. "If you do not want me to duel, I won't. But I still want to see what it looks like and if it is even a ghost. Right?" Iko asked.

Ashley continued to walk with Iko. "Fine if you still want to duel that ghost you have to at least get my Life points down to 1000 in a duel." Ashley said pulling out here deck and duel disk. "I mean sure it would be nice to be known as the duelist that stopped students from losing their memories. I'd be very impressed with myself if I did that." She said drawing 5 cards from her deck. "Now if you want to duel this ghost you better get your dueling stuff out and try to beat me. I know I might be really protective, but your my best friend and losing you would suck!"

Crade go out of the nursery and was heading outside to have some fresh air and find a good place to think and train dueling, he saw Ashley and Iko walking, yet he didn't knew who they were, he passed trough them, they seemed to be starting a duel, when Iko was walking backwards, he noticed that Iko was about to hit a rock but sinse she was walking backwards she would fall, he put his arm behind her a few centimeters before the rock, makingign Iko to stop walking a safe distance from her friend, by acident enough to a dueal take place, he said without flinching or moving his head "Be careful lady, you almost fell", he resumed walking he was still not to far from the girls when he felt the sea winds hiting his face, he stoped and looked to the sea adn muttered "This is truly something relaxing..." he stared the ocean for a brief moment and turned back to walk.

---Time Skip. Saturday, The Night of the Harvest part at school. There Kaden and everyone grouped up and met at the docks near the boat, 9:50 Pm and the moon is rising.-

Kaden looks back at the group with his duel disk and new deck. His eyes seemed like they were burning with a strange new glow, and yet, they are the same as ever. "You know... to be honest... When I first got here, I thought I'd be stuck with preppy snobs like the students at my normal school. Boy, did they hate me. But after the first few weeks, you people really showed me you had something deep inside that those punks at my other school didn't." Kaden turned away to face the moon that just gently rises over the sea, the continent that the Cove rests on is just out of sight. The water Glew with a stange misty glow as Kaden continued to got. "You people have what it takes to stand with me and face this challenge. That takes guts and wit. For whatever the reason you chose to come and I thank you all."

"Kaden your right. When i first came here i thought everyone was gunna be like mean and rude but i was wrong.I didn't know what a friend was like, how they worked,How it felt...Until recently when i made plenty of friends here with all of you. And if a stupid ghost thinks it can take that away from me that just....just....wrong! So if this is our chnace to end this lets do it, not as partners as friends!" Jax said expressively. He looked at the moon in the sky and felt as though he was meant to be there and that this night would change his life forever.

The cool breeze whipped Kaden's coat around as his white shirt and tie stay in place. The tie was different, it was the tie of the man who taught him how to duel, it was a deep blood red color and his deck was now Kadens. Yesterday, a box came for Kaden. In the box was his masters will and the things he left for him and a note. "That man bit the dust to soon... It was always this way, the people I get close to... we make promises with our eyes. Promises to duel another time, to meet again someday. And up till recently, I havn't been able to keep those promises... Like master, my closest friends dropped like flys. Knowing me was a disease... but tonight we change all that forever. With Masters deck in my hands, I fight with my friends!" Kaden thought. Fury on his face and strength the worlds never seen dwells withen Kaden and the unique cards he carries. "You're right Jax. We're winning this fight with our last bought, our last stand. We lose, it may be over for us, but the world will keep trying. We enter this boat and that Cove as children in the eyes of our protecters, but I promise you we will come back as Heroes!" Kaden said, stepping into the boat and taking his seat at the front.

Crade stood up and said said cleary and strangely cheerful "I have no reasons to doubt about you or your words Kaden, sinse thsi so called ghost had took my memories from me i'm going ot make him pay for it..." his eyes were almost closed making sharp and creaplying glowing eyes and said with a terifing and darkish voice "...I'm going to take its unlife." he then put his duel disk up with his deck properly placed on it, it acivated witha small click and its demon eye flashed showing Crade's face for a second with a weird green light flash, Crade grinned and said "I'm with you my friend!I will help dueling this beast, no matter what it takes from me." he said as he walked into the boat and took a sit lighten by the moon and the stars.

"Maybe I'll wait for later to tell him" Akari thought as she prepared to board the boat. "Wow...the ghost...sounds fun" she continued, excited. She saw Kaden and approached him. "Kaden, I need to give you something; you're probably not going to be thrilled about it, but here" she handed him her deck, with Archlord Kristya sitting on top. "I have to do something else - but for that, I can't use these, so perhaps you can hold on to those for me?" she asked, looking at Kaden before turning back and taking her seat.

Ashley just got to the dock. It looked like 3 people were already here. "Hey guys! How's it hangin? I'm coming along. No ifs ands or buts. You can't stop me from coming along." Ashley said getting onto the boat. "Well anything exciting happen yet? I wonder who else is coming. When I get to duel I hope I win! I don't want to lose my memory, that'd suck!" Ashley said sitting into a open seat. She pulled out her deck and toke a look at it. It may be one of the last times she gets to see it. She might lose her memory and leave it where ever the heck they were going.

Kaden shrugged. Something strange was going on with that girl. He slid the deck into a free pocket on his black jacket that he got in the box from his master. It was a little big, but the man who wore this jacket had the respect of all the dueling gangs from Farapoint-city. That place held some of the most grusome thugs Kaden has ever seen, yet around that man, they were civil. It was mind-boggling how quick the change was. Kaden noticed Ashley coming aboard. "My, someone sounds a little tipsy..." He thought with a grin. "By all means, come along, no time to waste!"

Iko ran up to the dock and screamed at Ashley, "You couldn't wait for me? You know I was waiting for this moment to happen!" She jumped on to the boat causing to the creak back and forth with water splashing on everyone in the boat. "So, who should go first into actually dueling this ghost? I know I want to try and win, even if i couldn't finish the perfect deck." said Iko as she grabbed her deck and looked at it. The card she was going to work with was going to help her to win against the ghost.

Crade got up and walked till he got next to Ashley adn Iko, he laid his right hand on Ashley's shoulder and said calmly but loud enough so all could hear "Yeah, memory loss do suck, but is you feel like a looser even before the battle you already lose it, do not look at your cards, your own spirits and the spirits of the others as if we had all already lost, this is can be the most important duel of our lifes, so what do we do?" He grinned as his face were imluminated by the moonlight "We win! We win for ourselfs, we win for each other, we will one for all of those who this ghost had already reaped from theyr memories!" he looked directly to to all and conclued "If you aren't okay with any of this that me or Kaden had said till now, I gently ask you to leave. But know that, if you leave you iwll never be the same nad will never be treatde the same!".

Kaden did an aireal flip and landed just after the water past. "Its been to long since I've used my crazy physical training to dodge anything... Heh, I hope someone noticed." Kaden landed on his right foot and left knee, leaning forward. His masters long black coat with spikes on the shoulders was waving in the wind. "its almost like you are here with me... Vahn..." Kaden coughed real quick and sat down normally with his arms folded. "We are aiming to get the Ghost to take us all on at the same time."

"Look, I want to try and take the ghost on my own. Please allow me to do this, I know I will find away to win and if i don't. Just find away to use my favorite monster in this duel." Said Iko with a sigh upon the last few words as symbolism for knowing her own defeat was going to come. She looked into the direction of the destination they were heading. "I know I can do this, give me faith, everyone. I may now be strong like you guys, but I am ready to duel when it is my time."Iko thought with courage in her heart.

Kaden shot a glance at Iko. "Does she have a death wish? She knows that this ghost is probably just a con-artist and there probably won't be a wish involved, thats average common sense for you. And she isn't the type to have dueling pride, or guts, or wit on this end. I don't really even like her much either, but the Ghost will only take one challenge, I found that out after Crade's duel." Kaden thought. "No. Tonight will be the only night we will have a chance at this, starting tomorrow the school's security is going back to how it normally is, you remember how tight that was. And also... the Ghost will only accept one challenge. I'm not letting you stand in my way for getting my revenge. There is also some pent up anger I have to irrationally let loose on that freak. If you want to change the plan... your going through me first!" Kaden won't allow it. "She isn't stopping this plan, not a chance!"

Crade laughed and turned to Iko and Kaden direction, he walked a bit on Kaden's direction and said "I have something that might interest you Kaden." he grinned adn his eyes turned sharp as a blade, "I was makign some research ont hose old books you gave me." he gave Kaden a book that was involved by bandages and said "It was hidden in the lybrary, it looks a old yearbook with some... lets say, diferent content." Crade then taped Kaden's shoulder and Turned back laughing maniacly adn loud going back to his sit in the moonlight.

Jax walks onto the boat and sit downs on the edge of the boat waiting for it to start. He could hear the others talking amounts themselves but it didn’t interest him. He thinks to himself with tons of questions “What is going to be the outcome of this battle? Who is going to duel the Ghost? I keep thinking Kaden but everyone else has their reasons for fighting. What’s my reason? To live on the best way I know how? By dueling? Or by keeping my friends close to me? This Ghost can steal memories, if it can do that, then it can most likely kill too. Is this going to be the most dangerous thing I do? Whatever happens…..I won’t give up!” Jax smiles faintly knowing that he’s not doing this alone.

Kaden slides the book into the large pocket on the inside of the large coats right flap. Then he buttons it back up and leans back. "Did anyone honestly think that just one person was going to take this chance alone and win? What kind of fool would deduce that?" That outcome has the same probability of a pig flying~!" Kaden thought. His eyes look forward at the academy as the last few people who are coming gets on as he jacks the engine and the boat goes flooring. The academy growing slower as the young spoiled duelists that holds his lif in their hands are the same size as they are in the boat.

Nova had been on the sides of the boat the whole time, he just had to wait. There was a reason all this crazy stuff had been hapening to him. He had been absent from class for the past few days, training. He couldn't let Kaden duel this ghost. That was his job. He didn't care about revenge, it was cold, hard, fact. That voice, it had spoken to him more. He understood his task. No one could get in the way of that. Even if Kaden had some destiny to, Nova's was the one playing out right now, however it may seem. He watched some of the other students. They were fidgeting nervously in their seats. He sighed, and got out his new deck. With these cards, no 'Ghost' could possibly beat him. There was no chance. He felt his hair rustle in the wind. He gently brushed it out of the way. He looed at Kaden. He was determined alright. He would have to find a way to convince him that Nova should be the one dueling. It wasn't going to be easy.

Kaden's black hair still whiping with the wind. His eyes closed, his face was relaxed. The tail of the coat he wore didn't whip around like his hair did because it was below the top of the boat. His eyes slowly opened to find Nova giving him a weird look. Kaden's eyes narrowed at Nova and he turned his head out to sea. He could tell by the scent of the air that they were about a quarter of the way there. He sighed as he closed his eyes again and remembered how his master used the deck. "The raw power in this deck alone could tare this place apart if Master used it. When he dueled, damage happened. Unnatural storms appeared." Kaden thought back to how his master used his cards to destroy his enemies. "Vahn..."

"Look, I have my dueling dignity to deal with. I haven't dueled anyone of this entire island since that day that we all began at this school." Iko said seriously with no regrets, "I know I will win, I know that i will do this as regard for your memory. I will return everything that that ghost has taken from the people, this is my chance to show what I got and I will fight it NO matter what, so try and stop me." Iko implied as she stood up and tilted her head down staring in the eyes of everyone on the boat. "I will fight and they have no power over me"

Kaden stood. His new cape being thrown around by the wind and force from the boat's speed. His eyes dark and his hair whipping around his face. Anger seen in his face and disgust as well. "Are you brain dead? I already said everyone who wants to duel will!I said it loud and clearly. It is the plan for everyone to duel it at once! If you have a problem with he plan feel free to jump off the boat. Any further issues will be having you thrown back off the boat. Bother me again and you'll be increasingly sorry. Any questions?"

“Kaden…..I will join in on the duel! I have my reasons for fighting this thing. And I know everyone has their reasons and they all want a piece of him, so let’s all join up together and fight this thing!” Jax said as he stood up and approached Kaden. He clenched his fist and thought “We have to kill this thing……we have to……we have to…for the sake of everyone’s safety….please just let us win this duel…..if you do….i don’t know what I’ll do.”

Kaden sat down with a grin, like he had sat before. The continent was really close now. They were almost there. His eyes scanning the group of duelists. Some more worthy than others but the few ones that can't really duel won't be to much wieght for the duelists who know what they are doing. Kaden drew the 'Blood Red dragon of Dark Realm from his deck and touched it to his forhead. The Power of the card had flown from its base and into Kaden's head. His grin cut wider and much more wild as the image of Vahn appeared in his head.

"Kaden... I'm sorry that I didn't last till our next meet. But, I knew from when you were just a boy, dueling for your life... that you were destined for more than I could imagen. Yes, I raised you with my own hands because those social workers were not there for you. You just appeared on the door step of their house and they took you in out of pity. I took you under my wing through pride. I planted the seed of greatness in your head. Its your job to prosper. Only when you become a mighty tree for your friends to lean on, will you understand their pain. At that moment, your greatest fear will be forgiven and your emotional scar will be healed... Kaden, boy, I don't have much more time for this communication, but remember! Take good care of Blood Red Dragon for me and if you ever need advice, you can channel its power again and ask me anything!"

The Phantom of Vahn had dissappeared as Kaden's eyes opened. The Continent was just in view.

Crade got in the middle of the way betewen Kadena and Iko, he then said with a calm intonation on his voice while he was walking in Kaden's direction"Kaden I do not know your own pains, but I know that you can't trow them at someoen else. I know that you want revenge, you want to avenge your friends, but you are trowign all that hatred on the wrong person! What she said is a realy noble thing. Yes it is a stupid idea to duel that thing alone, you yourself told me that when I dueled that thing I had accepted it terms whatever it takes without even hearing them, I was completely blinded by the foolishness of my thoughts, I didn't knew what it would took if I had lost the duel, adn yet I accepted dueling it, I know that you have your anger to use and pride to mantain, but you have to be careful on who you trow that anger!" Crade said finishing by waving his right arm sideways making his hari and coat to do the same, he then calmed down and said "Be controled by your anger and you will fall, be controled by your pride and you will fall, be controled by fear and you will fall, that is how that thing acts, turn his source of power agaisnt him and you will win." he then leaned in a small wall and stared at Kaden serious and yet compreensive and said calmy "I don't want to harm you, you are the only one that I can truly call a friend among all of the people here." Crade narrowed his eyes and looked to the moon and said "It is jsut me or the moon is turning blue?".
