[Pg-16] Yugioh Summer Acadamy - Cove of Memories

Recommended Posts

Zane was taken aback that anyone would even try to physically assault him, since he was one of the tallest and strongest there. Nevertheless, he remained calm. "You still don't get it, do you?" He said looking straight into Ciel's eyes. "I'm not afraid of any duelist, especially not dueling. You just heard me challenge Astro, didn't you? But regardless, I am afraid of failure, isn't everyone who strives to be the best? And now I've reached that pinnacle, of being widely considered the best, even if I may seem arrogant, I definitely do not wish to lose that status." He turned away. "If you want to duel me, however, you must first show me some respect, I do not wish to deal with incompetent trash." He slowly started to leave.

" Woohoo. You tell him Ciel. Plus you havnt seen my deck yet." Hunter jumped up and and started dancing about behind Ciel cheering her on. " Lets go, lets start this duel. Come on, show him that hes not the best. Show him that your the best. Well your not the best cause im the best. But show him that your close to the best." Hunter was so excited about watching this duel that he couldnt even sit down. He finally calmed down a bit and managed to stand still. " Oh, boy, this is gonna be good."

"All right hold it there you cant just leave. How about if i duel Ciel then you might gain soe respect for her and duel her."

Nova was watching all the fighting going on. He really didn't understand why they were all arguing. It was a great night. The sky was clear, and the stars were shining brightly. Yet no one seemed to care, they were all fighting for no reason at all. It was stupid, completely pointless. There really was no reason. He was glad he was not fighting, it was stupid. Nothing really exciting was going on, unless you counted the fights. He sighed and closed his eyes. His mind was completely clear for once.

Zane stopped for a moment, then calmly replied. "I have no interest in how well either of you can duel against eachother, and my respect takes more than one duel to earn. I am simply not interested anymore with dueling trash. If Ciel really wants to prove that she's better than me then she can earn my respect by at least proving she's a good duelist, then she can attempt to prove what she cannot prove. This academy doesn't even seem to know what the term 'good' means. I've been surrounded by lower-class players ever since I got here, I'm tired of it. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some beauty sleep to catch." And with that he continued walking.

Ciel actually smiled at the insult. "Why, thank you. You just made yourself sound even more pathetic." Field said, restraining a laugh. "I mean, do you honestly believe that you've shown respect to anyone else? Why don't you start practicing what you preach." She continued, duel disk still active. "Now c'mon, duel. Like I said; Are you not dueling out of fear that you'll lose to some piece of 'incompetent trash'?" Ciel said challengingly. "Heh, I wouldn't be surprised if you lost against whoever you considered 'worst on the island'." Ciel finished.

Zane stopped once more, but remained calm as ever. "Did you not understand me the first time, nor the second?" He turned round to face Ciel once again. "I already told you I am not interested in dueling someone who's going to disrespect me. Now, as for your claims that I do not issue respect, once again you are mistaken. I do show respect, and I give my chances to earn it. I respect those who can prove to be consistently good duelists, with top-class decks. Not some stupid fairies, not some Synchro reliant rubbish. The duelists I'm referring to know exactly who they are, and they know that I'm right. Everyone here knows that their deck is inferior to mine. I'll be honest, I can respect those who are weaker than me, take Nova as an example... well, former-example at least, I'm not interested in people who feel the need to make friends. Friends only hold someone back. But my point is, Nova proved to be a consistent and adaptable duelist, but he lost my respect when he felt the need to call out for friends. As for the rest of you... actually for all of you. I couldn't care for any more of this nonsense and you've wasted enough of my energy tonight with this silly little conversation. Now, I'll take my leave." He turned and once again resumed walking away. "You're all pathetic."

Iko walks over to Ashley, with her legs wobbling, she managed to stay on them on the walk towards Ashley. When she reached her chosen destination, she tapped Ashley's shoulder. With her dizziness, she whispered to Ashley, "Hey, I think I am going back to our room. I do not feel to well and need some sleep." She finished what she had to say, she took each step towards the path at a slow rate. Why do I not feel to well on this day? I really like being up on a day like this She began to move slower and slower towards the path, but her eyes flickered opened and shut and in an instant, her fell on in the direction of the ground. She hands covered her knees and her head got sweaty with the shade of being red.

"Im confused here. Is the on or not. Oh boy i cant take this kind of stress." Hunter saw nova sitting with his eyes closed. He walked up to him. Hunter hadnt made any real friends yet so he thought he might be able to make friends with nova. " Hey hows it going." Hunter sat next to Nova. " All this fighting is really pointless, dont you think. If you ask me everyone should just get along and have some awsomely fun duels, dont you think." Hunter looked st Nova and smiled. " Its such a peaceful night and does guys are arguing."

"Hmm. It's like I said, you haven't seen my deck yet." Ciel said, walking at Zane's pace, keeping up with him. "You said 'everyone on this island knows their deck is inferior to yours'. But that isn't true, is it?" Ciel said. "I've seen people like you. People who think they can rely on their own power. In fact, I had a friend like you; full of himself, never relying on anyone else. And you know what happened to him? He lost. He lost to someone who he had previously won against." Ciel quickened her pace, stepping in front of Zane. "You're trapped by the chains of your own pride. Please, let me break those chains for you. You'll find yourself being much stronger than you were before, and you'll find yourself in a stream of true victory." she continued. "A victory for pride is a meaningless win. It doesn't matter how many times you win, or who you win against. If you let your pride overshadow you, just like you are now, then you'll never be where you want to be. You'll still be trapped in yor own pride, in your own lonesome." she said. "Everyone needs someone to stand by them. You may think differently, but this is reality. Isolation hangs over you like the sun hangs over the earth." Ciel finished.

Hunter was going to carry on talking to nova but then he saw a girl fall to the ground. He decided to check out what had happened to her. He ran to the place where she had fallen. He leant over to look at her. " Hey are you all right. He saw her talking to Ashley earlier, so she went over to her and told her about what happened to Iko. " Hey, your friend just collapsed on the ground. I dont know whats wrong, but i think we should check her out. You know her temperature and stuff like that."

(OOC: Internet connection died right when I posted, so now I get to write it all again... yippee. -_-)

Zane halted as Ciel moved in front of him. He paused, and stared straight into her eyes once again. "I don't need to know you deck for you to know you are inferior." He waited for her to finish her little rant before deciding to respond. "You don't know me, that's what you're forgetting. From everyone's attitude here I can basically figure out that none of you really know people of my character. The way someone acts is generally half their story, but since I don't even act how can you know any of mine? I separate myself for my own reasons. Pride is only a fraction of my equation. Having someone by your side is an act of weakness, it shows the inability to fight for one's self. If you only knew what I dueled for, maybe the fog that covers your view would be lifted. Regardless, at this rate I don't appear to be getting any sleep tonight, so..." A glint appeared in his eye. "If you want to duel so bad then fine, but it had better be quick." He activated his duel disk and the his jacket began blowing in the strong proceeding wind. "And since I'm not a gentleman, apparently, I'll let you go first."

After talking to Ashley, Hunter walked back over to nova. "Sorry about that. There was a little bit of a problem." Hunter sat down next to nova once again. Then he suddenly remmembered somthing. Hunter reached into his bag, in which he all his equipment in case he got lost again. He pulled out a can of soda, one for him and one for nova. " Hey, do you want one. I got plenty, just in case i get lost. You see im absolutly directionless. So i have a sleeping bag and everything."

"Oh alright then Iko. I might come back soon too, but i want to spend more time with Nova." Ashley said watching Iko walk way very slowly.
"So Nova hows your night been? I've had such a great time with you so far!" Ashley said grabbing his hand. "Your really cute you know. I've liked you since day 1." Ashley said quietly so hopefully only Nova could hear. I wonder what happened with Iko? Why is she walking a staggered. I mean it looks like shes drunk, but when really there isn't any alcohal here. "Hunter what are doing here. Your ruining our moment."

((Sick right now, so sorry for lack of description))

"I can read your emotions well enough to know that you're chained by something. So, I'll break those chains, wether you want me to or not." Ciel said, drawing six cards. "Hmm... I'll set a card face-down, and summon Freedom Star Elivva." Ciel's said, the face-down hologram appearing to her right, the monster appearing in front of her. (ATK: 1300/Level 3) "While I control Freedom Star Elivva, any monster that would be sent to the Graveyard is instead placed on the bottom of the deck. "Next, while I control as Freedom Star, I can Special Summon Freedom Star Equivva from my hand." Ciel continued, a second monster appearing. (ATK: 2000/Level 5) "When Freedom Star Equivva is Special Summoned, I put a number of Release counters on it equal to the number of Freedom Star cards I control, giving it two counters. Lastly, I can remove a Release counter from Equivva to negate the activation or summon of a card with a continuous effect, and return it to the deck." Ciel explained her monster's effects. "Finally, if I remove every Release counter from Equivva, then he's sent to the grave, or in this case, put on the bottom of my deck. Turn End."

While laying on the ground, chills were delivered right down her spine. She was getting colder and colder at each passing moment. Her body was also getting numb, so enough she was not going to feel anything from each of her limbs. How did I get to feel this way? This time, her eyes were completely closed and did not open them near anytime soon. Her head was getting less dizzy, but that did not seem to help her in this type of situation she was in. She just laid on the ground, not moving or talking. Her eyes did get watery as the more she thought. Am I going to die here? Not now, not at this Academy

"Hmm, a rather boring first play, I expect more. Oh well, my turn." Zane remained calm as he gently drew the top card of his deck. "Perfect" He said, picking up another card from his hand. "I'll activate the magic of Mystical Space Typhoon, I'll pass on the descriptions. Now your face-down is history. Next I'll play Pot of Duality!" He revealed the top 3 cards of his deck: Caius the Shadow Monarch, another Pot of Duality and Discord. "I suppose I'll add my Caius to my hand, for now then. And now I summon Monarch Subordinate, in attack mode! (1400) See, my Monarch Subordinate's pretty special. He allows me to Summon another Monarch in addition to my regular Normal Summon of the turn. I think you'll love this next one, since he sure won't love you! I summon my Raiza the Storm Monarch! Fortunately for me, neither of my card's effects were continuous, so your card can't prevent them. Now, Raiza, return Equivva to the top of her deck and then exterminate her Elivva!"

Nova looked at Ashley. "It's been a brilliant night so far Ashley," he said, smiling. "Ive always liked you too, Ashley." he smiled again, then looked up at the stars. "You know, Iko didn't look so good, maybe we should check up on her?" he asked, genuinly concerned. Iko had been staggering on the way down to her dorm, so she might have been sick. He hoped that Iko was alright, even though she could be a bit of a git sometimes. Nova looked up at the clear sky. It had been clear all night, the stars shining brightly above him. Nova brushed a strand of hair out of his face. Nova was watching the others, Zane being a git like normal, with Kaden and Ciel arguing with him. More fighting, he thought, why couldnt they all get along? It was not that hard, in fact, it was easy.

"This night is great, but I think we should go check on Iko. She might of fell. Maybes shes hurt." Ashley said standing up dragging Nova with her. They walked about 2 minutes down the path and found Iko on the ground. "Oh my god! Are you alright! Nova lets help her back. She isn't moving, but she seems like she's alive." Ashley said going down and grabbing her legs. "Nova grab her head and lets take her back. She needs help!" Ashley said has she hoped he hurried. She didn't want her best friend to die out here.

Nova was shocked about what had happened to Iko, and picked her up by the arms as quick as possible. He and Ashley were bringing her back to the bonfire. Nova was anxious to find out what had happened to her. He didn't want her to die. Nova layed her down on a log, and went to see if anyone knew what to do. "Everyone, please help us! Iko is really ill, and i dont know whats wrong! Does anyone know what to do?" Nova shouted at the top of his lungs. He was desparate to help Iko. He really wished someone here knew what to do. If they didnt, and they couldnt find a teacher, Iko… might die. The reality of it hit Nova like a hammer. Iko would die. Stuff like this wasnt supposed to happen at school. Nova was starting to really panick, as no one knew how to help Iko.

Oh man..... I don't know.... Should I say yes? Or not? We don't reeeaally know each other, but I suppose we get along pretty well......man oh man..........Sienna's brain whirred. Finally, she picked out an answer.
"Sure!" She answered cheefully. "Why not?" She smiled, her green eyes glittering, and ran a hand through her hair again.
Said it, done it, Tania is gonna hate me for it. At least I get to say I got a boy friend first. Haha

Astro looked over worriedly. He took off his duel disk and placed it on the ground. He ran over to Iko and kneeled at her side. He looked at her face with a confused expression.
"First things first. Life over duel." He glanced at Zane who was obviously focused only on the duel. Astro checked her heart pulse and checked her head. His temple creased in thought.
"Quick pulse, throbbing head. Not good, not good at all. People, give me some space. Don't crowd. Get the school nurse too."
Again Astro checked Iko's pulse.
"Hurry up. We need the nurse."

Sienna was thinking about what she had said when she heard a shout; "Everyone, please help us! Iko is really ill, and i dont know whats wrong! Does anyone know what to do?" Sienna's thought bubble burst as she spun around. Iko; ill? No way!
Astro, despite being in the middle of a duel, went over and checked Iko's pulse. "Quick pulse, throbbing head. Not good, not good at all. People, give me some space. Don't crowd. Get the school nurse too." He said. Sienna immeaditely, nodded. "I'll get the nurse!" And with that, she began running back to the Academy, which she could clearly see from the bonfire. It's a ten minute run; There and back, 20 minutes. Will Iko be OK for that long? She thought, putting on a little more speed. The sooner, the better.

Ashley watched as Sienna ran out toward to academy. I sure hope Iko will be alright. Ashley getting even more worried by the minute. "Please be okay Iko!" Ashley said out loud. Astro was trying to be the hero when really the nurse will be the hero. Or it could be me. I was the one who decided to go get her. Ashley thought to herself. She paced back and forth. Getting even more worried she went to the ground and litterly prayed that she would okay. Ashley didn't want her friend to die!

Astro nodded at Sienna. He frowned, obviously confused and very worried. He stood up. "There is nothing I can do. We'll have to wait for the nurse to come. I don't even have a clue what's wrong with her. I don't know how long she can hold up, twenty minutes at least until the nurse comes. They need to be quick or we are going to lose Iko. Let's just not worry. Just hope she's fine and the nurse will sort her out. All we can do is wait."
Astro frowned.
"Hurry up...."

Crade heard some comotion about someone's death, he turned around and silently walked il where, Iko, Nova, Astro and Ashley were. He looked at Iko and conected it to what she was feeling, he got a serious look on his eyes. He knew exactly what was happening to her, he stood up near Astro without beein noticed, he kneed and gave Astro a piece of wool and a small glass thing with a green liquid inside. He then said "Get cold water for this wool and place it on her forehead, it shal keep her temperature well for some time, and give her this medice and take her quickly to the nursery, she might no be able to hold for much longer, do what I said now!" he then got up and turned hi back to all and said "Death is a tricky thing, do not let it fall upon such a young person, she stil got a lot ahead of her...". Crade then walked back to where he was before, once he got back there he muthered to himself "Why do I even care...I realy can't understend it...".
