wiithepeople
The Thread archetype are all FIRE Machine-Types, and is designed to be played while you are at 1000 Life Points or less. Saying that, this already puts you at a huge disadvantage, but these cards are also made to be high return, so if you think these cards are OP'd, there's a reason for that.
Thread Boiler FIRE/Machine/*3/Effect Once per turn, while your Life Points are 1000 or less, you can draw 1 card. 1500/900 Thread Heater FIRE/Machine/*3/Effect Once per turn, while your Life Points are 1000 or less, when this card attacks or is attacked by a face-up Attack Position monster, you can destroy that monster at the start of the Damage Step (without damage calculation). 1600/800 Thread Scorcher FIRE/Machine/*3/Effect This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set unless you have 1000 Life Points or less. You can discard 1 Level 3 monster to Special Summon this card. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 FIRE Machine-Type monster from your Graveyard. 1600/1200 Thread Torcher FIRE/Machine/*3/Effect When this card is Normal Summoned, change this card to Defense Position. Once per turn, while your Life Points are 1000 or less, you can Special Summon 1 "Thread" monster from your Graveyard. This card can only be used for the Exceed Summon of a "Thread" Exceed Monster. 500/2100 Thread Ovener FIRE/Machine/*3/Effect When your opponent adds a card to their hand, including drawing a card(s), while your Life Points are 1000 or less, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. 1800/0 Thread Griller FIRE/Machine/*3/Effect While your Life Points are 1000 or less, this card cannot be destroyed. 0/1900

Intentional Emergency Spell/Continuous During your Standby Phase, you can pay Life Points in multiples of 1000. During your End Phase, gain Life Points equal to the amount you paid. Speed Burner Spell/Quick-Play Activate only when your Life Points are 1000 or less. Destroy all cards on the field, except for all "Thread" monsters. Close Shave Spell/Quick-Play While your Life Points are 1000 or less, destroy 1 card you control and 2 cards your opponent controls.

No Chance!! Trap/Normal When an effect is activated that would inflict damage and you have 1000 Life Points or less, negate that card's effect and destroy it.

No. 57 Great Thread Furnace FIRE/Machine/Exceed/R*3/Effect 2 Level 3 monsters Once per turn, you can remove 1 Overlay Unit on this card to increase your Life Points equal to the difference in Life Points between you and your opponent, and this card gains ATK equal to the same amount of Life Points you gained, until the End Phase. 1600/2000
Link to comment

EndlessOcean
These cards actually seem quite balanced. BUT, i would make Intentional Emergency make you recive half the Life points you paid, just to make it a bit fairer. Also the exceed monster sais that you gain life point equal to the difference in life points. The difference in life points to what? Link to comment

That's not broken, and neither is Intentional Emergency. To answer your question, you gain LP equal to the differnce in both players' LP. Link to comment
