"Pretty cool. My name is Lucifer. I am half Mason, that's a Bipedal Polar Bear, half human. The most easy to recognize of my Mason-like parts are the Fur Cuffs on my wrists, ankles, and chest, which is why I don't wear shirts or shoes, only my Hakama. And also, my nose is a little wet naturally, and my face protrudes a little more, like a Polar Bear's. And it's pretty cool, what both of you are. I don't discriminate, no matter how illegal or ugly that creature, and I use Creature to mean everyone in this place, Humans included, may be. Would you like me to come with you?" He pulls out his sword out, and looks out into the distance.

Fiera Pondered "Hmmm.... Could use a good ol' heavy lifter, meh, what's the point, you can travel with me as long as you can keep up", She was excited to have company, cause there were few people that would even talk to her. She then said lowly "Well, we could discuss what to do about the Lamia over there, Sadly, I would rather have him alive and with me than all alone... My original plan was to follow him and help him out when he was in trouble and hopefully get his trust so he can join with us so we can Unite the world against this evil that the Oracle of the North had predicted....

Jyran chose to take it that Lucifer was not calling him ugly. He was a rather handsome cat, and a Cas'ten at that. If he was still among his people, he would have most likely have had a mate already. As for illegal, was it wrong to travel? Was their another rule he didn't know about? These people certainly liked to make living more difficult than it had to be. "Fiera, Lucifer, tell me, what is this 'High Brid' you talk about. My human not so good, many things I not know." He shrugged, a human expression he had picked up. Helpful to those who couldn't smell the changes in scent that made expressing emotions so much easier. "And Rising Darkness. You fear a long night? That not sound right."

Fiera sighed and said "Jyran, A Hybrid is a person whose a mix of 2 races, Like Lucifer over there, who is Half-Man, Half Polar Bear, and Myself, Half-Veirnar and Half Raven, You could be easily mistaken as one Jyran. and this 'Rising Darkness' is a Greater Evil rather than a Long Night, personally, I'd love a long night as I could use my magic without being locked in the shadows for a longer time." She continued to watch the Lamia, who should be making his move sometime soon, cause it's eventually going to be Daytime....

The library was huge. There were rows and rows of ten feet high book shelves. Toto thought it would be impossible to find the right book, but someone- or something- helped him. There, in the center of the library, was a talking book.

"The 56th Edition of the Kerulian Encyclopedia is at...Row 13, Section 13," the book said to Toto with a rough old lady voice.

Toto, amazed, did double takes while he walked to Row 13 to see if the book was actually talking. Luckily, section 13 happened to be at the bottom row, and he easily found the book. He flipped through the pages to see all sorts of information. He even found a section for the Furtos race.

"Hmm...Let's see...The Rontage looks somewhat like a spider, with the body of a snake coming out of the torso...Doesn't sound too hard to fight..." Toto said as he flipped through the pages. Then suddenly, something interested him. "What's this?"

There was a ripped page. Only one third of the page was left. All Toto could make out of it was "Oracle Confu-" as the title. The rest of the page was in some language he didn't recognize. This book may come in handy. Better check it out.

Then, he heard the steps of metal tapping the ground. The 2nd Legion! They're going already?!

"Ah, High Brid, two people as one people. I understand," Jyran said. He nodded them dropped to the ground to sit. He watched the Not-alive-not-dead La-mi-na man with her. He could smell a bit of impatience from her. It reminded him pleasantly of a large bird wanting to take flight. "Lucifer, we is watching the La-mi-na man to prevent Die-ere sin from happening. Well, Fiera is, I just helping." He stopped. he found that the direct method was often the most sensible method. "Among my people, kits stick tails in everything and have to be scolded. They know nothing of world, and ask what called baby question. That how we teach. You teach me human way, yes? Is there reason why we stalk La-mi-na man and not strike him?"

Illith was almost back to the shelter that her Queen's writhing limbs provided. Almost safe. Almost home. At least, until she ran into an obstacle.

It wasn't really an obstacle, persay, but it made Illith, and by extention, her drones, stop. A battle scar. Arrow marks everywhere. Some even still wedged into the spot they landed. This was unlike anything Illith was expecting. When her Queen beckoned, Illith truly believed that the Slia, as a species, were in trouble. This wasn't a full-on extintion, this was an ancient grudge finally snapping and turning to violence. Illith's Queen was being just a little bit paranoid. Caring, but paranoid.

Careful, little one. Remember the last time you tried to turn against me?That didn't work out very well, did it?
No, it didn't work out well. Just because she was close to victory doesn't mean that it worked out well at all. She was convinced at the last second to not kill her Queen, as the latter explained how exactly Slian society went.

Illith tried to forget those days. But she had to ignore her Queen. Her worries were unwarranted, and there was interactions with other races to do. Maybe she could understand why this war was being fought...

Fiera said to Jyran "Ones that are revered as a 'walking sin' is not neccessarily the sinner, but the sinned, We are watching him to make sure nothing happens to him, So that nobody hurts him". She kept a close eye on the Lamia, She looked, but suddenly she got a migraine, She thought "errngh, i can feel a war between sinners is about to be fought, i need to deal with that later". She still kept an unwavering eye on The Lamia, She could also feel something isn't right, as in several other prescences moving in the area. she Gripped her scythe tightly, and tapped her scythe as a warning to the others...

As he half stumbled, half walked down the streets of the middle-class area of Mithwendor he heard footsteps closing in on him from behind. The footsteps obviously belonged to a woman as it was someone wearing heels, this unnerved him. He never minded being followed by men, men were not likely to be Lamias and if they were they would be of no danger to him. Almost all women however could be Lamias and that caused him to have a slight fear of them, he would've turned around to look behind him, but that would be suspicious, so instead he kept up his pace, trying to remember which way to go to get back to his Inn. After a short while the woman behind him actually passed him, she had a simple red dress on, brown hair and... milky white skin. Rhett almost froze in place out of fear and shivered a bit, this woman was most certainly a Lamia. Nobody was naturally that pale unless they had been out of the sun their whole lives, and since she was in the commoners part of the town he doubted that would be right. As his eyes were completely fixed upon the, most likely, Lamia in front of him he didn't pay attention to where he was setting his footing and he fell on the ground, grunting as he did so.

as he fell, he heard how the Lamia came to a stop and then turned around and approached him. "no no no no no no no!" he thought to himself, any Lamia that hadn't fed for a while wouldn't pass up a fallen man on the street. "My, my, my... what have we here. Had too much to drink, had we?" The woman mused and before he could even move he felt himself being hurled away by her, crashing down on the ground several feet further away. He didn't even have time to get up before he felt the woman by him and he cried out as she sunk her teeth in his neck. To be bitten hurt, but the worst part was that she would now know that he was in fact a Lamia and not a regular man. He wouldn't have any blood flowing in him. Sure enough, the woman hissed and pulled away from him, this surprise gave Rhett a chance to get up from the street and collect himself. The alcohol was still affecting him a bit, but he was sober enough to take this Lamia on, he hoped. "ABOMINATION!" She cried out, fangs fully visible and her eyes flaring a hostile red. The woman was ready to fight, her stance being more crouched and the way she held her hands up made her a reminiscence of a cat, ready to scratch away with her nails.

The wounds from her teeth closed up as she retracted and the adrenaline within Rhett caused his eyes to flare up to a brilliant red as well. He didn't speak, but instead drew the two daggers from his belt. They wouldn't actually kill her, he knew that, but being stabbed still hurt and if he could hit her heart she would actually die. The chances for that were probably slim though.

"Well, really we live life close to your species, we just use whatever is around us to our advantage, and that works out to make technology, we don't use magic. It's like we had a chance to be either the most powerful in magic or smartest species in the world for technology, and you know what we chose. And I use brute force, Jyran, yet with strategy. It'd be hard to fight a magician, but i'd do it if I must. Humans are a weird species, I have to say, compared to the others. We are so different, yet so the same. I think we are the only species left from the mass extinction many years ago. Most of the others, such as your species, Jyran, evolved from what i've heard were pets of humans way back when. And Furtos might have some of their genes from another of Human's pets a long time ago." Christian explains.

She knew it, Another Lamia, a Female one, had appeared on the streets and was getting ready to battle the male one, Fiera uttered "Get ready guys, this is gonna be one hell of a fun battle, if he can't handle himself that is..." She looked at Jyran and Lucifer, the Runes of her scythe glowed in a red color as a ball of darkness appeared in the middle. She waited until the critical point in the battle till she had intervened, and that could even be soon. She glared at the Female Lamia, she noticed what she spoke is the truth, There was almost no sin in the Male Lamia's heart, yet the Female has loads of Sin.

Jyran gave a low growl. He gave slight sign of his willingness, pulling back his lips for a moment to flash his sharp fangs in a threat of combat. If he remembered right, humans called it a smile. There was precious little he couldn't take with his fangs and claws, and for those he couldn't he always had his magic. He doubt he would need that against the La-mi-na female, especially with Lucifer and Fiera. He itched to attack, but it seemed they would have to wait for a more opportune moment. Most have something to do with that Die-ere Sin of Fiera's.

Once again, Mickey wasn't quite sure where he was. He was currently surrounded by human bodies, arrows, and a lot of blood. His Rook suit stood in the background, still on but unoccupied. Mickey held his chess piece between his four odd fingers, bouncing it in his palm. He could sense that someone was nearby, but who? Or well, what? He scanned the horizon, using his rather hastily made binocular. It was made of somewhat shattered glass and rusted metal, but it would suffice. Peering into the distance, he spotted an odd, cocoon like object. If he had eyebrows, they would have raised. In his two years of traveling, he had never met a creature like that.

He reattached the binoculars to his waist.

"Today will be a first, then."

With that he entered his Rook suit and began to approach the creature.

"Errr....welll.....I wasn't. I was merely.....er.....walking through this nice glade with my over sized knife. I wasn't going to chop you into pieces." Kris said nervously, a nervoous grin on his face. "I'll be, err, going no....." Kris stopped and looked past the Rontage soldiers. His gaze was followed by a couple of Rontage soldiers, who died a few seconds later. Because of the talking horse. "I realised you'd payed me, and decided to come back." The Horse neighed, turning around, allowing Kris to climb up onto the back of it. "Well, Falavor seems a bit, preoccupied." Kris stated, just dodging an Arrow. "I guess we should head for Mithwendor. It could have a couple of Mages aswell." Kris stated, as the Horse set off, attempting to escape the Rontage. He picked up his longsword and threw it backwards, hoping to hit a Rontage soldier with it.

Obviously, this gu was not Luke's friend. He strapped the bow to his back while runnng, only as fast as the horse, but when he could use all of his legs, he ran in front of the horse, and quckly slew it using his Axe. "Now, since you endanger us, you will have to fight now!" The sensation was coming back on again, this time, more intense. He took out his axe, and also held an arrow like a spear, ready to throw if needed. His body was thriving, craving a fight. His toungue flickered in and out. He had, in total, 11 weapons, and he was only using two hands. He noted an elf sleekng up behind him, and killed him with his back leg, then ate him. "Now, stand and fight! Coward!" He said, charging, with a fierce glint in his eyes.

"That hurt you b*stard." A voice uttered from the mud a few metres back. "Glad to see you're awake Steve." Kris groaned, rubbing the back of his neck as he stood up from where he'd been sitting, against a tree. "My name's not Steve. It's...." The Horse started, only to be interupted by Kristan. "Yes I know, it's some posh, three hour long name that's been passed down for Generations. But I cant pronounce it. So from now on, you are called Steve." Kris said, grinning. 'Steve' sighed. "Well, could you help me, please?" He said, nodding his head towards the bottom part of his body. "You dont need help. Stop being lazy." Kris said, picking himself up and brushing himself down. 'Steve' just sighed again, before turning the head half of his body away from the bottom half. Strings started to emerge from each half, at the point they'd been cut off at, and started to pull themselves together. When they were finished, and Steve was whole again, Steve picked up the Longsword and ran past Luke, attempting to kick Luke, and ran towards Kris. "Now, fight him. I've used a lot of energy with that healing thing. I need a nap." Steve stated, before suddenly dropping to the floor in a nap-like position. Kris, meanwhile, shrugged and grabbed the sword, positioning himself in an obvious rookie stance, and ran towards Luke. "Please leave. I can do much worse than a sword." Kris said as he ran towards Luke, at average human speed but with slight familiarity with fighting styles. Infact, it was obvious that he was improving his skill every second, by the amount it would normally take a normal human about a month.

The two Lamias practically flew into eachother, the woman scratching away with her nails like they were claws and Rhett stabbing with his knives. He cursed, she was an old one, the wounds closing up instantly as the dagger had left her body, and when she landed a punch Rhett actually flew backwards a good 6 feet, throwing four daggers at the woman when she ran towards him. Two missed completely and etched themselves deep into the ground further away while the other two hit a lung and thigh respectively. The woman didn't really seem to be bothered much by this and as she collided with Rhett she picked him up and threw him at least a good yard along the streets. It was hopeless, he'd die tonight. "Merril, perhaps we'll meet again?" He mumbled as he staggered to his feet. He contemplated on actually driving the knife into his own heart, just to end it, but that was no way for a man to die. He'd rather die fighting this Lamia than doing that. It would be dragged out and painful, but he'd have his dignity. How could he ever look Merril in the eyes in the afterlife if he had died such a coward's death? No, he'd die fighting, it was the only way.

Fiera saw that the tide had turned, The Female Lamia was overwhelming the male Lamia, It was time for her to act, She stamped the Scythe in front of her as the ball of darkness repressed in the scythe, She said with a Firm voice "Corvuna Dierku!", Which Suddenly, A smaller ball of darkness shot out of the scythe aimed at the Female Lamia, Then she uttered a second incantation "Divinira", Which split the ball of darkness into 3 ropes made out of dark energy, One of the ropes bound the female Lamia's Legs together, then the other 2 bound the Female Lamia's arms and wrists together. Fiera then flew in between the 2 Lamias as she said "That's enough, I've already had enough with a sinless person being beaten up just because a Satan told you to!"

Savas walked through the street with his weapon slowly waving back and forth as he strode onward, the crimsion liquid dripping from it as he did so. While the sreet wasn't empty, there was a lot of other people around him, he was the only one still alive . . . and that was well enough seeing as he was the one causing the slaughter. Stopping at a tavern which had it's doors blown off in the prior battle he walked in and tugged his mask off, yet in the dim light it was unseeable despite the irrifutable fact no one was alive to see it. Setting down in a creaky chair he set his book down, tapped the bar, and had a full glass slide down to him. Looking up he grinned and nodded at the demon as it nodded back before returning to his book. He never needed to have people around him, nor did he ever want any, because he always had the demons within his book to do what he needed; this in no way ever made him a man of weak standing. Leaning back in his chair he spoke to the small band of summoned demons shuffling around in what seemed to be a mindless daze, "Y'know boys?! I am starting to think we shouldn't've accepted that contract to slaughter this village by their compitition . . . they got better alcohol and seemed to be richer . . . should've played both of'em to ensure a bigger payment."

"Sir think of it this way," one of teeh demons, a large brutish looking one, said pulling a full bottle of whisky from the bloodied shelf, "You have the money from them and can take anything you want from this place now."

"Too true . . . too true," looking as he demon downed the drink in massive gulps he shook his head and knew that there'd be nothing left but hard to carry cash when his personal 'minions' finished off what they could. Rubbing his temple he mused to himself, "I need to get to finding out where that darkness is coming from . . . and I can't quite do that with you lot following me everywhere, people'd think me mad."

"More so than you already are?"

"Oh shove it and get back in the book! We're moving out!" flipping open the book the summoned demons transfigured into smoke and vanished into the pages. Slidding off the stool Savas left the city to return to his primary mission, finding the source of the darkness and possibly claiming the position for himself, and knew sooner or later he'd end up getting sidetracked, most likely by a pretty woman . . . or something shinny.

OOC: Seeing as this is my first post I decided to show my character in all of his insane glory. If anybody could mention him slaughtering the village or the people who contracted him I'd be MUCH obliged 83

Slia were blind. It was an evolution concept. Slia had become a stable species, and it was one single genetic mutation before sight was replaced with "sensing," almost seeing, but not quite. Yes, it was the lack of a feeling, but it no Slia missed it to Illith's knowledge. Mostly because they didn't know what it was like.
But just because the Slia couldn't see didn't mean that they were deaf as well. Illith heard the machine all to well, its tromping heard through the still functioning ears of most of her Drones.

So she paused, waiting for whomever, or whatever, was inside the machine to react. She hoped it would notice her. In fact, she assumed it. The giant thing came across the forest, almost there. Quickly, Illith gathered all her Drones. If this thing was friendly, the Drones could possibly scratch something out. If it was aggressive, she might be able to put up a fight.

And the thing crept even closer.

Leodon was panicking. The citizens of Falavor were panicking. Everyone was panicking. Falavor had never expected an attack so nearby, and its soldiers were not very skilled warriors. Fortunately, the mages and the priest were "coming shortly" from Magira. Unfortunately, they are no where to be seen. Leodon was now the laughing stock of Kerulia, being beated by a city of Rontage. To him, this was Leodon's rising darkness.

Toto, however, did not care as much. He is what you would call a "tourist." Just as long as he doesn't killed, he's fine. Still, he has to get his money, so fighting in some random war was his plan. Running to the battlefield, he understood why the elves were losing. The Rontage were ambushing them from tops of trees and getting them trapped in webs. Maybe if he could get on top of the trees...

"alright, fine, we won't fight. But only because I have a war to deal with right now." Luke quickly ran back to the battle field, now stringing multiple arrows at once and firing them. "Well, boys, let's teach them not to attack the Rontages!" Luke began to get readya war cry that would truly make his soldiers warriors. It was an old warcry, used to call upon the ancestors of past great Rontage warriors to help them fight. "Oh! Ancestors of Great Rontage Race. We call upon thee to help us fight an evil force, threatining our race!" With that, some warriors charged into the field, much like he had done not too long ago. His ancestros were upon them. He then noticed something weird. A spear n the middl eof an army. Oh well, Luke needed to negotiate with the king. He strode up to the castle, while slaying somewhere around 10 elves on the way. He walked up the hll, and everyone who tried to stop him were encaptured in a web. He didn't want to seem like he was attacking. He strode into the King's chamber gracefully, and gave him a peace offer.

"Lord Leodon. I come to thee with a peace offer. We do not wish to wipe you out, by any means. But you must understand. Our people must eat. Food in the forest has been replenished, so we do not need to attack you anymore. As for the slaughter of your troops, merely self defense. Please, we do ot want war, and I'm sure you don't want it either, espicially with this 'Rising Darkness' coming. Please, accept the offer, and we will peacefully return to the forest and return to our everyday lives." A gourd started to move in on him, and he quickly webbed him.

Suddenly, Fiera kneels down in pain, gripping her head, She thought "another one? Now!? This is not right! wait.. what is this!?" She had started to hear whispers, from 3 different beings, 1 voice was masculine, another was Feminine and the 3rd is reptilian, One prominent whisper told her this:

"Viemvear Barrier weakening, Return to Viemvear immediately for urgent meeting, Restriction R Inactive..."

Suddenly and without warning, She uttered "Tsvailven Tanar Viemvear Deutonar Sevenikula Teirnu Varanar!". With those words, everything around her turned gray, except Lucifer, Jyran, Fiera, and both of the Lamias, Fiera was looking at a black space in front of her, her instincts told her to run away from it, but her body would not listen, It was in fact moving toward it, In addition, Strong gales were pulling Fiera, Lucifer, Jyran and both Lamias into the black space like a black hole, Sadly, it already overpowered both Lamias and pulled them in, Followed by Jyran, then Lucifer, then Finally Fiera... The black space then disappeared without a trace....

Fiera suddenly woke up around Lucifer, Jyran and Rhett facing a panel with 3 Spirits, 1 was male in appearance, another female, and the 3rd looked like some giant Snake thing with a Lizard's head, Fiera bowed and Politely asked "Your honors, What brings me back to this plane? what also brings my friends here? and where was this Lamia I was fighting go?" The Male and Female spirits replied in Unison "We have recieved news that the Oracle of the West has sensed the disruptions of the Barrier between Viemvear and Kerulia, however, whatever is causing these disruptions is very smart, only causing disruptions so that only 1 or 2 oracles can sense it, causing Chaos in Kerulia, we entrust you by Lifting Restriction R on your Magic completely. As for your friends, We overheard in your thoughts that you were recruiting some help, so, we are going to give them our blessing" Then the Reptilian Spirit spoke up "As for that B*tch, we saw the Sins in her heart and sentenced her to Corpereality in Viemvear, Never to die, and to be tortured for Eternity" Then the 3 Spoke in unison "We all wish you luck, Deziryata Fiera" with that, She blacked out...

She woke up minutes later and saw that Lucifer, Rhett, and Jyran were still Unconscious, She also looked and saw a Halberd near Lucifer, Some Silvery claws near Jyran, and a Scythe that looked similar to a Grim reaper's scythe near Rhett, all 3 were still unconscious...

Toto saw the mighty Rontage just make run through the cities its in war with as it was just a stroll in the park. Before long, the battle was...over? Well that was the news Toto had heard. Apparently, they're currently making a peace offering. I wonder if I still get my money... He jumped down from the tree that took him ages to climb on. What a waste of time...

"Come on, Oto. Time to find a new job."

He took out the Kerulian Encyclopedia, wondering where to go next. Toto jumped onto Oto, and they started their way to adventure. They could go anywhere as long as: they don't run out of money, they don't go on ships.

As Luke walked back to the forest, Luke realised something. e wanted to explore, possibly find the Rising Darkness. He told the next in command she was General now, and walked away from the town. As he was heading into the city, he noticed the spear again. He ran up to were the spear was, and saw what looked like a sort of furry bear. He said to him" Do not be alarmed, I am now retired. I was wondering if pheraps you would like to team up and help me find this 'rising Darkness' or go questing, or something. A good explorer always needs a good partner."
