Under_Age_User
You could break the cycle by just being a teensy bit more open minded to new opinions. The tried and true "if it's not broken, don't fix it" thing isn't so tried and true, when you can prove that a card is broken.
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
New SJC should prove that there are pretty much no true staples. MST isn't mained in about a quarter of the decks and Mirror was never really a staple to begin with.
Orochi
i had an idea, let's check the SJC top 16 decks and see which cards are more used, then take conclusions about that...
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
I'm sorry, I didn't know locals were a solid foundation to build an argument on. My mistake. Horus is the only true staple.

I haven't been following the recent SJCs.
Gravitize Me Cap'n!
New format reflects that with the sheer amount of chainables, MST sometimes just doesn't cut it.
Belgian Blue
Completely agreed. But mirror was a staple once, since it was proferred it never was. Give or take 2 years ago we had a slew of staples. Heck even saku was a staple back then, so mirror definitely was. But that is normal, you have a lot of staples in a meta with only one deck. Now the banlist and the ensuing diversity have completely annihalated the meaning of the word staple. There is no such thing.
XxTwilightNovaxX
I don't run MST in my Twilight deck. No real reason. I side it with a DT. Hi hikaru! Edit: AH! 2hvy! Didn't see you! Hi!
