Dwarven King
Ok, I need a Dwarven City. It's a typica Dwarven City. You know, really thick walls for fortification. Everything is all shiny and made with professional craftsman ship. There are also mines criss crossing under the city, and there are also buildings underground as well with fortifications. That way, if the top part gets over run, the people can retreat below ground with better defenses, and in close quarters where Dwarfs excel. More details about the city are listed below. Name - City of Josaburg Total population: 62108 Total guard: 414 In addition, 776 clergy tend to the spiritual needs of the City , and are overseen by 31 ordained priests. Christian Exodia
Master Red, he's the half-Human, half-Mason(Bipedal Polar Bear), Lucifer. His blood only gives a fifth of the nutrients pure humans give.
Master Red
ohsnap, didn't know. I guess he would be safe in that sense. The real question would be if Rhett would be safe if Lucifer found out what he was. He's like the one thing nobody likes x'D
Christian Exodia
Lucifer wouldn't mind. He'd even help him. Because of him being half-Animal and all.
Master Red
This just turned interesting, helping him eat people? FANTASTIC! Christian Exodia
AND helping him by killing Priestesses. But he will not kill, unless they fight back.
Master Red
They most definatelly will, although Priestesses might be too much for him (just saying) as inquisitor priestesses usually are quite old and powerful (so they can kill off the people that needs to be killed)

Appearance and typical Lifespan: Pure-breed Veirnars do not have any solid appearance and are in fact almost non-existent, due to many dying of old age and other causes(Hybrid Veirnars can live a little past 20 Millenia, while Pure-breeds can only live 500 years). Pure-breed Veirnars tend to look like some sort of Amorphous Dark slime that takes a humanoid appearance. Hybrid Veirnars tend to be a humanoid version of what the hell ever it's "Mother" mated with in appearance. Relations with other nations: Veinars are refered as part of the "Darkness" that the Oracle of the North Speaks of, but in fact, they are very peaceful creatures unless threatened, They are in fact a nightmare to fight cause they tend to literally come out of nowhere Most Northern Dwellers tend hate Veirnars with a burning passion, despite their peaceful views. However, they tend to like to pull pranks and are often an annoyance. They are partial towards Lamia, being fellow undead, however, some Veinars expected Lamia to be more Serpentine(They encounter Serpentine Lamia in Viemvear) Diet: They are Omnivorous, which can be a clear giveaway, but to keep their racial identity a secret, They try to match the diet of their "Father" Powers and weaknesses: Most Veinars are capable of extreme magic, but however they are unable to cast magic when exposed to Sunlight. They also cannot be exposed to anything "Holy"(i.e. Crosses) since they come from a Demon Realm

She has Black hair, Red eyes, and most of her body is cloaked in feathers like a tunic. During a training exercise, She accidently broke the boundary between Viemvear and Kerulia, which sucked her out of Viemvear. She now is in fact living a normal life, despite not being able to do much in the daytime, She teaches at a magic school near Eldermane. In Kerulia, not much is known about her.

She is very mischevious, but is very good-natured and very kind. Most rumors say that she is very ill tempered when threatened and she will pursue you till the ends of Kerulia, which are very true and most people would have to exercise caution around her, if known.
Weapon: She had forged a strange Scythe, it has runic patterns on the blades Magic/Power: She has extremely strong shadow magic that does not work if exposed to Sunlight, She also has the ability to enter and exit Viemvear Other: The "Deziryata" in her name is in fact a title, the underlined part is her actual first name
Viemvear is a Demon plane Parallel to Kerulia, and is in fact where most of the sinners in Kerulia go after they die, There are many spirit beasts that in fact dwell in Viemvear, Including the Veirnar, and all sorts of Devils and demons, This plane is unknown to Kerulians

GreyCat
Okay, I made a race and a place for the encyclopedia and got a bit (read a lot) carried away with it. The first is an article in a report available in the larger libraries with human donation and the last is a geography report written by a teenager. Enjoy.
Gnomes, Tinker's in the Dirt Written by Giorg Kaern, Racologist Small diminutive creatures that are most often found in caves and tunnels, gnomes are queer creatures that live in low light conditions but are adapted to handle bright lights. They do venture out above ground, but the majority of the civilization lies below the surface. They are one of the more advanced races, but also appear to be the least advance because of the nature of disrepair, mess and overall unsafe dangerous look of their creations, most resembling nothing more than scraps cobbled together from the discards of a blacksmith, tanner and miner, often held together with strips of cloth and dubious looking bots. Even knowing this is due mostly to their spontaneous and eccentric nature is little comfort to one who takes a ride on the rickety lift down into one of their many cities. Appearance Gnomes are generally between one and two feet tall. They have skinny limbs, small bodies and large disproportionate heads. Their hands and feet are the same, possessing six digits that are double-jointed and can bend in different directions. Their digits also have three joints instead of the two that are common to most other species like humans. They have wide mouths, large soft noses and a pair of massive eyes. Their eyes have three membranes; a clear one that acts like protective goggles for water, smoke, dust, etc, and two darker ones that act as shades for bright lights. Their eye lids close sideways. They are often are dark skinned, in earthy colors. Culture Gnome culture is about building, mining and creating. They are ruled by the gnome that builds the most spectacular creation during the election. Aside from that, they is no real structure to the society. Every gnome builds for itself, grows its own food and takes care of its own mistakes. They switch feely between the pronouns it and he. Gnomes are all about making things, no matter how strange and useless it may seem. Ecology Gnomes primarily live off funguses and subterranean mosses they scrape from rocks with their sharp front teeth. They also gain essential nutrients from rocks and earth so they each them too, using their flat tough back teeth. They are insectivores and eat the occasional fish. They are asexual, reproducing by laying eggs-like cocoons, or cocoon-like eggs . Their genetic code is prone to mutation and is the source of diversity within the population. They made eggs (called crusps) first by producing a mass of cells around their bodies, primarily their throats, over a period of a week or so then mixing the thick cell paste into dirt, iron and other minerals and forming a large ball. The ball hardens into a nigh impenetrable mass that can remain dormant for centuries. When the crusp maker dies, his death sends shocks over the telepathic link he maintains with his crusps and causes them to break open in a few hours. The new gnome if full formed and has a portion of the memories of their maker. They are one of the races that does not know natural death. The oldest known gnome died at 1467 years, 245 days, 5 hours and 32 minutes. He died when his magic hour glass, designed to reverse time, reversed him to a lump of cells (the cells eventually regrew, but he forgot everything about who he was and had mutations in his DNA, effectively making him a new person.) They are considerable stronger than they look, capable of lifting over ten times their own weight. Their bones are precipitates or iron and their cells can endlessly regenerate. A good ability to have considering half the population blows themselves up before breakfast, often to get breakfast. Magic Gnomes have an interesting relationship with magic. They cannot wield it themselves, but they can influence it and use to power their creations (like the golem fad they started a few centuries back.) Magic also makes them a bit (extremely) crazy and eccentric by the standards of other races, but that madness is what makes them so inventive and allows them to live. (A gnome actually experimented with that, placing some [s]victims[/s] volunteers in a magic isolated room and seeing the results. They were dreadful bores and practically drones until their magic was returned.) Gnomes make the best magic weapons and magic storage devices, often without even realizing or thinking about it. (from "Guide to the Peoples")

Geography Assignment: About Celis By Jon Celis is [s]an oddity[/s] a weird place. It is an island with a self contained ecology. About 100km long and 80 wide, it is bordered on all sides by steep sharp cliff walls that form a natural barrier and wall around the land. It contains lakes, ponds, rivers, a few hills. Multiple forests, plains, no deserts or beaches though. Fertile soil, volcanic in origin to boot. The weather is somewhat unpredictable but mostly fair. Doesn't seem odd yet? That's because I forgot to mention that it flies. Yep. Six miles in the air on average. A top speed of about 150km per hour. So, how in the world did a chunk of land that huge get flying? All the fault of an old 1200 year old gnome called Knas the weird. Even by gnomes. That should tell you how weird he was. He researched into a rock type that would give floating abilities. Not to the wearer or user, but to the eater. He wanted to fly with the birds. The old coot. His rock worked. Eating it gave the consumer the ability to fly. He found that just having it in your blood could let it work. Now, this was in the last war. Some general thought it would be a great advantage to have his army able to fly, so they went after him. The general lost most of his tropes getting to the secret place Knas worked in, but eventually found the old gnome. He died without telling it's secrets. Now, what does this have to do with Celis? He worked in an oasis of sorts, a garden of eden sort of place in a large mountain range known for it's impressive cliff and rock formations. A lovely land, hard to get to, quite large, about 100km long and 80 wide in fact. Sound familiar? The land was over a natural fault line and dormant volcano, which Knas rigged to explode. The dude was seriously paranoid. He found that his rock was quite explosive. What he didn't find was that prolonged heat and pressure caused the rock to catalyze and spread like wildfire, seeding more rock into a more stable form of itself. Gnomish babble aside, the volcano woke up mad and the lava made the entire bedrock of the oasis Knas' floating rock. So Celis was born. They were several small populations of different species on the island when it took flight (another one of Knas' experiments), and they were more or less stranded. Knas' kids, when they hatched, worked out a chair that would pilot the island somewhat, so Celis is not only the world's largest floating island (the other floating cities are flies in comparison), but is the worlds only flying island and the world's only pilotable nation. Not many people know about it (aside from the whales, but they fly and it was pretty hard to keep them from nosing about.) The natives (most of the hatred of Knas is gone, though he is still the national hero and condemner, but it is a paradise in the sky) with magic work at keeping it hidden and inconspicuous (the cloud that covers the base at all times is not natural. Seriously, you ever heard about a permanent cloud over 100km across?) Some of Knas' kids and grandkids have left (no, they weren't thrown off... Not all of them at least) and contributed to the floating transportation modes you see on the surface. (from a report on Celis by a human school kid who lives there)
