Big Bad Pennar Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 Notes for Greycat: Fiera can handle being in Sunlight, it's just that she can't cast magic under it and has to move to the shadows to do so, though that's okay, Merril needs to keep from the sun Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GreyCat Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 I know that, but Jyran doesn't. He just saw you avoiding light when the sun started rising, and he decided use it as an excuse to pass some time. Hmm.. need to work on an explanation of Dis Klahn magic. Just so you know, the speed of a Drift depends one the skill, talent and experience of the user. Jyran has three years of training and an affinity to the Grey, so his Drift is pretty much instant. Mugendramon Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 Oh, I've decided to add a new Zone to start from. This zone is called;
Sahiel Woods are located east of Leya, in the only border this Nation has to non-human territory. Sahiel is known for it's large variety of Medicinal Plants, and is the main reason Leyans are the lost advanced in traditional as well as more in-depth medicine. This forest has in the past, however, been the residence of an ancient race of Plantoids. The only traces left of this civilization are two Graveyards, found somewhere in this forest. On each Grave is a plant. Each of these plants have superb healing uses, which could heal any illness. But there is a side effect. These plants are seeds. Whoever ingests even a single cell from these plants will become the host of this Plantoid's embryo. There are also several kinds of wild animals in Sahiel, so it is discouraged to trespass without either decent protection, or someone who has ingested a seed. Trees in Sahiel can sometimes show different locations, due to reflection tricks from the foliage. Due to trees being carnivores, it is suggested that you only go near the tree if you are willing to feed it a snack in exchange for your life.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Big Bad Pennar Posted May 3, 2011 Report Share Posted May 3, 2011 Fiera's gonna hear that little do you know, Though i do have to wonder, Normally walking, How long would it take for me to get to Koyuri's area? EDIT: ah well, Looks like the council got to Fiera to send her near a boundary point, Explaining the Screeching, As for the trees not attacking her, she's still quite a distance away from them, possibly still too far, but who knows? GreyCat Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 @Red: Lamia are immune to telepathy? ((will have magic 101 up shortly... hopefully)) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Master Red Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 Yes. Since they are, technically, dead there are no brainwaves emitting from them. Just like they don't have a beating heart or a working digestive system (<-which is why they can't eat normal food) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Big Bad Pennar Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 @ Blind Monkey: By the way, If you decide to bring me back to the village, you can have the Barkeep know a little about my race, but not where they live(as for some strange reason, Barkeeps tend to show a lot of wise traits) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mugendramon Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011
@ Blind Monkey: By the way, If you decide to bring me back to the village, you can have the Barkeep know a little about my race, but not where they live(as for some strange reason, Barkeeps tend to show a lot of wise traits)
Yea, your call really. I can either get you involved, or go on myself with my character's personal plot. To me, it's the same either way. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Master Red Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 *fights off broomstick in by whipping my hair back 'n forth in a very manly fashion* The Lamias are basically a mix between the vampires from a Swedish PnP RPG that I used to play a while back, vampires from the HoN-Novels and the True Blood Series/Sookie Stackhouse Novels. And even though they are, kind of, magical beings they are still dead. Dead people don't have brainwaves, hence why they can't be exposed to telepathy or use things that needs thoughts directed towards them to work. I hope it doesn't work for them, it's just nice if Merril/Rhett has a problem with this. I mean, they can still walk through it and stuff, but they can't open the gate per se. GreyCat Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 The gate is already set up. All you need is the will to open it up. Dis Klahn do give a damn about brain waves. They don't even know what it is. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Master Red Posted May 4, 2011 Report Share Posted May 4, 2011 opening it required the thought of someone, i.e it uses brain waves. That's exactly what Merril can't do. Dis Klahn may not know of brain waves, but that doesn't mean it still uses them Anyways, I think it would be kind of fun if they can't open it themselves and it would also be a learning experience for Jyran I guess Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Grunt Issun Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 Sounds like lots of fun! I'm in! Name/Gender/Age: Gragio - Genderless (see race) - 1000 Race: Grom - The grom people are a small race, that live in two differant places, a giant floating island, that can be seen from nearly anywhere. Or among the people of the ground. The Grom do not deteriorate from old age, and do not have genders (Though most are assumed male). The Grom are skilled in fighting, trained from birth, yet they are peaceful twords most races, only fighting when provoked. Appearance: Gragio, like most Grom, has a lightish purple skin, like lavender, and has no hair. He has large pointy ears, which have small antane like things right behind them. He wears a dark purple robe, over a white T-shirt. He has dark blue silk pants under his robe, which is where he keeps the seathe of his sword, a pitch black scimitar, with an inscription in the Grom language, to anyone who doesn't know the language, its gibberish and symbols, but to the Grom, it says "Bringer of Peace". Bio: Gragio was born in the hut of the elders, leading the villigers to belive he was blessed, so they bathed him in the fountain of holy memory. From the age of 3, he was givin his first sword, crafted from the wood of the trees on the island. He was good at fighting, better then his friends, and peers. Gragio, on his 600th birthday, went down into the center of the island, where he found the material his sword is made out of, Sounite, which was named from soul and nite, a common ending for a metal. He crafted his sword, which was sharp as diamond, and even more deadly. It could cut through nearly anything it came in contact with like butter. 390 years later, on his 990th birthday, he down to the ground, where he decided to live for the rest of his life... that is, until he was killed, or died of some other unnatural cause. Personality: Gragio isn't very talkitive, but he can still be very light-hearted, he likes fighting, its in his Grom blood, so he constantly wants to spar with someone, of course he makes sure to be careful, with his pure sounite blade. If anyone tries to hurt someone he's close to, he turns serious, and will stop at nothing to take the enemy out, yet he will ignore anyone he doesn't know, if there being attacked, he may call for help, but won't interfere himself, he doesn't like to get involved in what isn't his problem Weapon: His sounite pure black scimitar - "Bringer of Peace" Magic/Power: The Gorm are known for there ability to take energy from there enemies Other: So, is there any plot stuff I need to know?
