VGVentus
2012 – Yellowstone erupts, sending North America into a continental Volcanic Ice Age; UK assists the relocation of a sum of North America’s human inhabitants to Asia. Italy becomes the Roman States and forms an alliance with the China and Japan. Global currency becomes Lans. 2020 – Canada occupies what’s left of North America and renames the continent Vulcan, starting the Vulcan Re-claim War between Canada and the United Kingdom, who fought on the American’s behalf. Light Tactical Armor (LT Armor) and Experimental Mecha Suits (EM Suits) began to be used by Britain. 2023 – The Vulcan Re-claim War ends with British forces occupying Vulcan’s Capital, Britain and America become the Empire of Britannia. Russia becomes the White Union. 2030 – China attempts to expand their borders into White Union territory, resulting in conflict. Japan attacks the White Union, causing the Empire of Britannia to assist the White Union against the attackers; setting off a chain of events leading to the start of WWIII, the world was split into two factions, the Global United Nation (GUN) and the Nation of Regulated Militants (NORM). German Scientist Krieg Aldenhorf invents B.Wave Technology before being murdered during an assault on Germany by NORM. Germany sides with GUN and both sides begin to use B.Wave Tech. 2031 – Artificial Intelligence Robotic Infantry (AIRI) replace all of NORM’s human infantry and pilots, providing a potentially unlimited source of expendable infantry units. 2040 – Mecha designs GUN1 and NORM.L began service during the Battle of Mumbai, which ended with the tragic nuclear bombing of India, killing all of India’s population and over 1,000 GUN troops. 2045 – Present, North America is still locked in a Volcanic Ice Age, and 4/5ths of the Amazon Rainforest has been cleared. India is a nuclear wasteland along with Greenland and Madagascar. GUN is beginning to meet a stalemate with NORM, and needs to find a way to tip the battle into their favor.

All Standard Rules apply, including this rule: Your Characters aren't safe from death, running at a Mecha armed with a Railgun armed with a sword will get you killed, whether you like it or not! NORM use AIRI when piloting their Mechas. Below are the main models of Mecha used by GUN: GUN1 – The first model to use B-Wave technology invented by GUN, GUN1s are no longer produced but are still used by veteran Squadron Pilots. GUN1 can use all weapons apart from Railguns, as the model isn’t designed to handle the Railgun’s electromagnetic currents; GUN1s have powerful armour that can deflect most kinds of bullets. GUN2 – The second model to use B-Wave technology invented by GUN, GUN2s are standard Mecha in Squadrons. GUN2s can use all kinds of weapons and even have built in thrusters in the Mecha’s feet, allowing the Mecha to go up to 90MPH; GUN2s are inferior to GUN1s in only one way, and that’s the GUN1’s superior armor. GUN3 – The third model to use B-Wave technology invented by GUN, GUN3s are rare Mecha used only by Squadron Commanders. GUN3s can use all kinds of weapons and have upgraded thrusters in the Mecha’s feet, allowing the Mecha to go up to 120MPH; GUN3s use the same armor as GUN1s, making them better than both Models overall. Mecha Designation Mechas are used by both factions, and they have a unique way of registering Mechas. Below, we have an example of a standard Global United Nation Mecha: GUN1-Crusader-I3Z Each registered Mecha’s code tells me three things about that Mecha: 1. (GUN1) The Mecha’s Model. 2. (Crusader) The Mecha’s Codename. 3. (I3Z) The Mecha’s Squadron. Mecha Squadrons have their own unique codes, below are examples of designations used by other Squadrons: GUN2-Razor-B1 < This designation is used by Beta Squadron, the formula being B Number GUN2-Hellhawk-I6Z < This designation is used by Iota Squadron, the formula being I Number Z GUN2-Krypton-DA6 < This designation is used by Delta Squadron, the formula being DA Number

(Remove Brackets like these) Name: Age: (Can’t exceed 35) Gender: Biography: (Two Four Line Paragraphs, the first being about your character’s life before the war in 2030, the second about your character’s involvement in the war and eventual assignment to a Mecha Squadron.) Appearance: (One Four Line Paragraph, no picture.) Personality: (Three Lines Minimum) Mecha Squadron: (Iota, Delta or Beta. Squad Commanders will be decided by me once enough apps come in.) GUN1 and GUN2 Mecha have two ALT1s preinstalled, giving the Mecha basic Anti-infantry weapons right off the bat. ALT1s fire large bullets the size of a toddler’s clenched fist, allowing the ALT1 to punch through AIRI carapace with relative ease. Railgun Railgun are used on both sides and mainly by NORM’s Heavily Armed Quadrupeds (H.Q, pronounced Hack), Raliguns have proven themselves to be worth every credit. Direct shots from the Raligun will always blast a Mecha into multiple pieces, for there is no such thing as a material tough enough to defend from a Railgun blast. Hi-Rate Thick Rifle (Hi-RTR) Common and standard weapons for GUN Mechas, Hi-RTRs are over twice the length of a ALT1 and can fire larger, explosive shells. Hi-RTRs have a wide range of uses, including Anti-Infantry and Demolition; Hi-RTRs have two different modes that can be changed with a voice command: 1. Hi-RTR/Sub – In this mode, the Thick Rifle becomes a weapon akin to a Minigun, and is used tear apart enemy lines. 2. Hi-RTR/Art – In this mode, the Thick Rifle’s ammo is exchanged for explosive shells, and comes in handy when dealing with ranged foes. Triple Missile Launcher (Tri-Launcher) Tri-Launchers are used by Heavy Artillery Mecha exclusively, in order to max out effectiveness. Tri-Launchers are Shoulder Mounted, and can be controlled through a joint stick mechanism, clicking the joint stick into the grip fires the Tri-Launcher; scopes are activated through voice command. Hi-Rate Sniper Rifle (Hi-RSR) Hi-RSRs are rare weapons among GUN Mecha, mainly because of GUN Mecha being too large to stay in cover and make precision shots. Only expert pilots dare to use this weapon, and even then very few use it well; GUN Mecha equipped with Hi-RSRs have two modes that can be activated at any time with a voice command: 1. Hi-RSR/Auto – In this mode, the pilot surrenders control of the Mecha’s movement to a second pilot stationed elsewhere, allowing the pilot to concentrate on sniping. 2. Hi-RSR/Sub – In this mode, the Sniper Rifle’s barrel splits into five and performs like a Thick Rifle in Sub Mode. Iridium Bladed Claymore (Ragnarok) Ragnarok swords are the only swords ever made for Mecha Pilots, and have been designed to compliment GUN Mecha’s size, speed and agility. Made from one of the strongest metals on Earth, Ragnarok swords can cut through anything plated with armour with varying ease; Ragnarok swords are 4 meters long, and are often kept on GUN Mecha’s backs. Iridium Tipped Spear (Aesir) Aesir spears are almost impossible to get for a Mecha, because it costs about 100,000,000 Lan to produce. Aesirs almost always hit their targets; should the opponent dodge the tip by stepping back, thrusters installed in the tip's base will extend the reach of the weapon by a quarter of the original length. Brain Wave System (B-Wave) - Mandatory Invented in 2030 by German Scientist Krieg Aldenhorf, B-Wave allows Mecha Pilots to mentally link to the Mecha, granting the Pilot the ability to operate the Mecha as if it were their own body. There is a fatal flaw to the B-Wave’s programming that causes permanent brain damage to the Pilot should they control the Mecha for over two hours. AIRI are controlled by B-Wave connections aswell, though NORM figured out a way to remove the time limit. Particle Warp Drive (ParDrive) - Mandatory All GUN Mecha are equipped with ParDrives, allowing them to teleport out of the battlefield when nearly two hours have passed, or if the battle is lost and a full retreat is ordered (the former automatically activates after one hour and fifty five minutes has passed since the B-Wave activated)

Dwarven King
This is what I have so far. But, could you explain the difference between each squad? Name: Brian Age: 24 Gender: Male Biography: Before the war, Brian was an average person. He went to school, hung out with friends, everything a child at the age of nine would do. When the war started, Brian and his family were in White Union on vacation while his father (A high up representative in Britannia) was doing his job there. Unfortunately, him and his family were caught in the first few attacks, and his parents were killed. Luckily, a passing Squad Commander rescued him and adopted him, teaching him everything he knew. Brian then spent the next nine years learning how to operate a Mecha and strategies to be used in battle. Along with other things he would have normally learned in school. At the age of 18, Brian was given his own GUN2 Mecha and drafted into his adopted father's squad. From there, he assisted with every mission his squad went on. After only a few missions, he was already admired. His skills with the Mecha, quick thinking, and great cunning allowed him to easily sweep through enemy forces. Now, six years after he first joined the squad, his adopted father died from a heart attack. Now the squad was currently without a commander, but everyone was sure the spot would go to Brian due to his skills. Appearance: Brian is six feet tall exactly. He has dark brown hair that falls loosely around his head and is somewhat long, but does not reach past his eyebrows (somewhat similar to how Dante's hair is from Devil May Cry). He wear faded blue jeans and a tight, black t-shirt. He is of average build, but with broad shoulders. He isn't very muscular, but he can hold his own in any fight. Sometimes he is seen wearing what looks like a black trench coat and also wears black combat boots. Personality: Brian is generally calm and collected. Though he cant get angry just like everyone else, he knows how to control it and use his anger to his advantage in a battle. He also has a very strategic mind. While most people focus on the big things they see, Brian sees the little details and factors them into the equation. He prepares for every possible outcome, not matter how unlikely it may seem that an outcome will happen. He also isn't one to sit back and let others do all the work. Instead, he prefers to be at the front making sure things get done. But he also knows how to rely on stealth when needed. Mecha Squadron: Beta Mecha Model: GUN2 (will upgrade to GUN3 if I can be squad commander) Codename: Reaper Designation: GUN2-Reaper-B8 Weapons: Dual ALT1s, Hi-RTR, Hi-RSR, ParDrive, B-Wave, Ragnarok
VGVentus
@Dwarven King: Gladly... Beta is a Mecha Squad used for missions in Nuclar Fallout zones, Arctic missions, or Volcanic enviroments. Delta is a Mecha Squad that backup Infantry and Artillery when needed. PurgeMaster
Name: Hanzzel Faultlen Age: 22 Gender: Male
Hanzzel was brought up in the Germanic reagions of the world in a wonderland, with his parents rich beyond beliefe. He grew up in the knowledge of what was happening outside his mansion, but under the ilussion of it never reaching him. He was content, happy, and every whim was attended to by a servent or maiden that he would call. Even when the war started, it never affected him until he ws 13, when his mother's business went down the drain, and his fater (who was a well renowned pilot of fighter planes) was shot down and killed brutaly.

From that day forward, his life changed. He was no longer rich. He didn;t have the constant supply of money behind him. He was like the rest of people, and it sucked. He blamed NORM for his prior life of wealth ending, and joined the military units. He trained and became stronger. His mind was honed into killing. Hatred drived him. Memories fuled this hate. And after a fateful entanglement in the front line, he was promoted into using a mecha to stem his passionate hate. He linked with his mecha quickly, and the hate it felt combinde with his hate. A new breed of warrior was born in the ashes of the past. And it wanted blood...

Hanzzel has is 5'10", with glossy blond hair that coiled around his head and curled away. His deep green eyes are enhanced by contacts that make his eyes look like they have slits. His skin is a very pale, with a glossy shine when the light catches it. He is of light build, even through all the training. He looks like he has no muscles, except the outlines and semi-prominant ones on his skinny torso. His knucles look to big for his hands, and tattooed on his sholder going down his arm is a tribal swile of lines with pointed ends, with a cross (Christian) on his shoulder. Strangly ironic, he is adimantly Aithiest.

Hanzzel has a strange personality. His mind is fighting off the rage he feels until the time comes, but he still has anger issues that can cause him to be a liability. He is, though, generaly a good person, friendly towards his fellow troops, and is good at cracking jokes. Esentialy, the good part of him from his past has stayed with him. But this all changes in battle.

As soon as he reaches the enemy, he becomes callous, spiteful, merciless, rage-filled, and very unable to co-operate with. He likes to see the fear in the enemy when he can (if they are human), and will cut them down and continuously do so even when his current foe is on the floor and unable to get up. His cognative energys switch from playful to strategic, funny to brutal, happyness to rage. As he is very inteligent, he is a tactical geneus when the fighting starts, and his team relay comunications let him tell others what to do. Asriel Dreemurr
Okay, is Dwarven King in squad Delta or Beta? He's listed as squad Delta, but his app says he's in Beta. Name:John Blackmoore Age: 27 Gender: Male
John Blackmoore grew up in the city of Dublin Ireland as the son of a mechanic of some renown, and as such he lived a very simple life compared to much of the rest of the population. At the age of twelve he began working in his father's shop and discovered his natural gift with machines and quickly became renowned for his ability. By age sixteen he had developed an interest in the military and chose to enlist as an infantryman, but during the testing which all soldiers underwent prior to their assignment and it was discovered that he might just have what it takes to become a Mecha pilot and was placed in basic training for pilots. After four years in basic training, he was shipped off to direct combat in India where he distinguished himself in combat during the campaign surrounding the battle of Mumbai. He was one of the few soldiers to make it out of that particular incident alive and was reassigned to a new squad after being the only survivor of that which he had been assigned to previously. He continued to distinguish himself in battle and was eventually given control of a GUN2 model Mecha. Currently, the commander of the squad to which he was assigned was killed when his Mecha was destroyed by a shot from a Railgun fired from the back of a NORM H.Q and may just be in line to be granted the command.

John Blackmoore is a slightly taller than average man of a moderate physical build and lightly tanned complexion, often found surprising due to his fully Irish heritage. He can often be found wearing his pilot suit whether he is on duty or not and always wears an old worn-down pair of brown leather combat boots to commemorate his basic training. His face is sharply angled, but his jaw is quite strong in appearance, and bears a long jagged scar straight across his nose and directly beneath his eyes. On the subject of his eyes, they are bright emerald green and always seem to glow with intelligence beyond what his bearing might suggest.
Personality: John has been described as the "fun type of crazy". In other words, it's often difficult to predict what he's going to do outside of battle and people rarely understand the thought process behind his decisions. Inside of battle, however, he becomes incredibly focused on achieving the objective set for his squad regardless of any personal cost, but proves again and again that he takes the safety of his squad mates very seriously and will often choose to defend them from harm rather than move forward to the objective. Mecha Squadron: Delta Mecha Model: GUN2 or GUN3 if I am allowed a squad command. Codename: Burning Skies Designation: GUN2/GUN3-BurningSkies-DA9 Weapons: Railguns, Hi-RTR, Aesir Spear, B-Wave, ParDrive
