Chancellor moore stared out of the window, enjoying the peaceful afternoon. The island in which the academy stood proudly on was full of girls and boys dueling, talking and having fun. It was their day off after all, they've just finished exams so they have a week off.

[i]Still no Legendary Duelists except Alex. I hope he is having luck with this. We never know when the Dark Academy will negin their attacks. If all these duelists on this island are killed, all hope will be lost. The new generation will be lost to darkness.[/i]

Suddenly, a warlock appeared next to the Chancellor. It brandished a purple staff and wore crimson robes.
[b]Steven Moore, a Dark duelist has been claimed by a Dragon.[/b]
The chancellors heart fell.
[b]But a light has also been awakened. An Aztec Dragon. Alex is pushing them to their limits. However only one has shown itself.[/b]

"Ehhh...?" Isaac looked around. "The duel-proctor hasn't tested anyone since me? Where's that newbie at?" Isaac said, not directly referring to any specific person, but in general to the next person to be tested. Isaac wanted to see some more action, some more pain and fear. On top of that he finally noticed Nova had disappeared as well. "Geez..." Isaac said weakly, sighing at the same time and then standing back up. "Guess i'll go for another stroll around the park." He said, not being literal but implying he was going for a walk.

Thinking back during the duel, how powerful it was. She then started to look through her deck and found the Legendary Summoner and the Dragon card. [b]Aztec Dragon of[/b].....[b]Courage[/b]. [b]How did[/b]...... She paused for a moment and decided to put her cards away. She looked over her shoulder and noticed Izo looking at her, Emilia tried to ask, "[color="#FF00FF"]Wha[/color]...[color="#FF00FF"]wha[/color]....[color="#FF00FF"]what is it Izo[/color]? [color="#FF00FF"]You okay[/color]?" She put her hands around her face and asked in a scared voice, "[color="#FF00FF"]Do[/color]...[color="#FF00FF"]Do I have something on my face[/color]?"

Izo sat still, lost in thought after watching Emilia's duel and how she'd played a card he hadn't even heard of before. Not to mention the tuner she used to summon it was the same one the instructor used to summon his own dragon. He was only jerked out of his thoughts when he heard Emiliar talking and realized he had been staring into space in her general direction.

When Izo asked if she was okay, she smiled and said, "[color="#FF00FF"]I'm fine[/color]. [color="#FF00FF"]I'm just[/color]....[color="#FF00FF"]a little drained after that duel is all[/color]. [color="#FF00FF"]So I have a little bit of a head ache, but I'll be okay[/color]."

"Okay then. I have no use for it now anyway, since the card I drew is exactly what I needed! Elemental Baby Dragon: Water has just grown up to Elemental Dragon: Water! Now, this Elemental Dragon has been powered up! So Summon! SECONDARY ELEMENTAL DRAGON: ICE!"
At first, the baby dragons shape blurred, and it cocooned into an orb of water. Then, that orb froze. Suddenly, it shattered as a massive, frozen dragon smashed its way out of the hard cocoon. Frost formed around it and soon, Immortal Engine-Steamdrake Devourer froze into solid ice.
"Now, one monster is frozen so its effects are worthless right now, it is switched, or rather forced to defense mode and my Ice dragon can attack that, and also your other monster.
"DEEP FREEZE BLAST!"
The Ice dragon fired a beam of ultra cold water which splintered the frozen target, destroying it, and also froze and destroyed its other target.
"End Phase." Alex finished.

Izo's eyebrows raised in interest and surprise when Emilia confessed to never having seen the cards either.

A scratched his chin, back in thought once again. He'd once heard about the spiritual ties the game had and how certain cards held spirits within them, some even being a once-of-a-kind card that chose a single duellist as their master. He hadn't dismissed the article as fantasy or anything, in fact he found it quite intriuging, but he never expected it to hold as true and certainly not to this extent. As it was, Izo was far more comfortable dealing with computers and technology, however it interested him any spiritual side to life was completely alien to him.

[b]"Well, look on the bright side,"[/b] he said, seeking to change the subject [b]"We're both in now and with any luck our first year will be a good one."[/b]

As Izo made his comment, Emilia thought to herself, [b]Great[/b]. [b]Now he thinks I'm weird[/b]. [b]It's not like I understand it any better myself[/b]. Then Izo showed a positive look saying that at least they were both able to get in and hopefully their first year would be a year to remember. This brought joy in her eyes as she replied, "[color="#FF00FF"]Yeah, I guess your right[/color]. [color="#FF00FF"]At least this way it will be more fun[/color]!" She then looked at him for a few minutes and then said, "[color="#FF00FF"]You know, you haven't change that much over the past few years[/color]." She then giggled and continued, "[color="#FF00FF"]I'm glad[/color]."

Troy soon grew bored of watching entrance duels. He wanted to duel. He saw two kids taking to each other as he walked out of the seats. One was a guy and the other was a girl. Troy just thought they were a couple, but he still wanted to meet them. After a few minutes of walking around he decided to go and meet them. He was bored and needed something to do, and fast!
"Hey guys! I'm Troy. I'm bored to all hell and need something to do. Any you up for a duel?" Troy asked

[b]"I haven't?"[/b] Izo replied [b]"Well...It's good to know my dad hasn't rubbed off on me then."[/b] He joined Emilia and let out a light chuckle.

His thoughts were interrupted when another boy walked up to them, one of the ones who Izo had watched duel a while ago. He smiled warmly as he approached.

[b]"Well, nice to meet you,"[/b] he said brightly [b]"You can call me Izo."[/b] He looked back over at Emilia for a moment then back up at Troy [b]"Well I'm fine for a game if you like. Unless you'd rather duel both of us at once."[/b]

He gave a jovial smile as though he meant the statement as a joke, however he was interested in knowing more about Emiliar's new dragon and perhaps another duel might give him some answers.

Leon had returned to the main area where the exams were being held when he heard Izo's gesture to Troy. He decided he may as well intervene [b]"Hey, y'know 2 against 1 isn't very fair. But if you want, I can always even out the playing field."[/b] He said with a smile showing on his face. [i]This is finally a decent chance to test myself to see whether I'm good enough. And it'd be great to try a 2v2 duel...[/i] [b]"So, is that a yes?"[/b] He said in a joking, yet serious manner.

As Izo and Emilia where talking and laughing, another person appeared and introduced himself as Troy and offered a duel. Emilia introduced herself after Izo and then looked at him as he suggested a 2 on 1 duel until another person showed up and offered a tag duel. Feeling a little bit uneasy about the idea, Emilia tried to speak, "[color="#FF00FF"]As[/color].....[color="#FF00FF"]as long as[/color].....[color="#FF00FF"]I'm with Izo[/color]......." She pauses for a moment and takes a deep breath, she then continued, "[color="#FF00FF"]I[/color]...[color="#FF00FF"]I wouldn't mind[/color]." She looks back up at Izo and asks him, "[color="#FF00FF"]That is[/color].....[color="#FF00FF"]if you want to partner up with[/color]......[color="#FF00FF"]someone like me[/color]." Alex shook hands with the final duelist entering the academy, after defeating beating him with Secondary Elemental Dragon: Metal.
"Congratulations! You're through, please go over to the desk and say you were placed into Shocking Light." He smiled as the boy ran off, obviously pleased with his dorm placement. Then, Alex turned to the crowd and raised his voice so everyone could here.
[b]"Thank you all who came here today! Majority of you dueled with determination and persevered through this! Some of you however dueled unfairly and cheated, and for that you are not coming to the academy today! So all who did pass, please go out the double doors at the side here." He pointed to a set of glass doors at his right. "There you will find the ship we will be taking to get to the academy. Make sure your name is ticked off the register. The ship leaves in an hour so stop any practice duels, you will have plenty of time for that while we sail! Well done to you all! Now please follow me!"[/b]
Alex finished talking and walked to the double doors. Outside was a giant white cruise ship with golden lines across it. It was called Duel Academy Solar. He climbed aboard to begin ticking off names as people passed and give them seperate rooms to sleep in as they went. They'd only be at sea a day anyway.

Troy turned to the boy who walked by. "Maybe on the boat.I guess we're leaving" Troy said happily as he walked to the double doors to go out to the boat. He turn back before he went on the boat and looked at the town he'd grown up in. After looking from the entrance of the boat he went in a took a seat somewhere. He had to get a seat. He was tired of walking. It was about time he found a seat. Maybe later I'll get a duel, Troy thought to himself. But if I do I'll be awesome

As the instructor announced that the boat had arrived for their departure to the academy, Emilia felt sort of calmer knowing that she didn't have to participate in a tag duel. [b]I'm not sure that I would of been any help anyway[/b]. Looking back at her seat, she walks over and grabs a small bag of her belongings and walked outside the double glass doors. As she went outside, she saw that the boat was huge. Thinking to herself, [b]Wow[/b]! [b]I've never been on a boat before[/b]. [b]Hope I'll be okay[/b]. looking back, she notices Izo still getting his things together so she decided to wait to board on the ship with him.

When Silver got back to the arena, he saw the announcement made by Alex and proceeded to go through the double doors with his all belonging. As he was doing so "Horned Kuriboh" appeared again [b]"yes Kuriboh in a few moments we'll be on that boat towards the academy"[/b] A short moment after going through the double doors, he saw the boat [b]"*phew* look at the size of that thing, a man can get used to this, time for me to board this thing"[/b] He approached the boat and noticed an instructor with a clipboard [b][color="#800080"]"Name?"[/color][/b] [b]"Silver Staris"[/b] [b][color="#800080"]"yup, your name is on the list, here's the key to your room #102"[/color][/b] [b]"thank you very much"[/b] As the instructor ticked his name off the list Silver boarded the boat...

Seaek was extremely pissed. Alex had 100 Life Points left! His ultimate monster, the Exceed Monster Immortal Engine-Draco Arcturus was in play! The game woulf have been his next turn! And then he came back with his Origin Elemental Dragon-Solarius, and wiped out the rest of Seaek's Life with one massive attack. Alex was appointed for his job for a reason, Seaek reminded himself, as he received his dorm assignment of Shocking Light and boarded the ship. And he did have the best record of all those who tried out. [color="#000080"][i]And they haven't even seen my ultimate combo. This is gonna be fun.[/i][/color]

When Silver got to his room, he dropped his stuff onto the bed that was there, before he left however he felt the bed to see how soft it was. [b]"hmm.... a guy can get used to this, in the meantime, time to enjoy the sea view..."[/b] He thought for a minute or so, thinking if he wanted to lie on the bed for the journey or to get out there and enjoy the view. [b]"i'll enjoy the view from the outside and not the inside, i'm not some lazy douche"[/b] So he went outside onto the Deck to see what was happening as well as the crystal blue sea [b]"this is a lovely view, i wonder if anyone wants a quick duel"[/b]....

Nova woke up in his Dorm. He had had no dreams at all today. They were getting more and more frequent recently, but there was nothing in them. It was just him in a giant sphere, completely alone, completely empty. He went downstairs to get his breckfast, a sandwich like normal. He wondered when he would be able to use his new card. Hopefully very soon, as it was VERY powerful. Nova saw lots of duels going on. They were stupid. Dueling this early would mess up everyone's performance, and it was bound to get them killed.
