Metal-Lasers
So, are movie remakes better, or do they just ruin the original film? You may discuss and debate.
FTW (For The Wynn)
Overall, the original is far better than the remake in most cases. For example, The Day the Earth Stood Still has a much better original version from 60 years ago than the more modern version. However, one technical remake that was better than the original was The Thing. The original one from the 1950s I believe was a good movie, but Kurt Russell's version was even better, far scarier, more true to the story and a classic among horror movies. ragnarok1945
I guess it'll have to depend on the film itself Haven't watched too many original and remakes. War of the Worlds original did seem better than the remake though
