from what ive heard japanese are more RPG orientated, not really RTS
but hey if they go nuts on it sure they could beat american pla......NO

I remember playing Brood War a long time ago. I used the level editor to make a huge, resource-stuffed island for my base, then a small island with maybe one resource pile for my enemy's base.

They then get dismantled by airforce.

I kind of disagree, mass dragoons used to completely annilate zerg air, (except maybe mass queens but the chances of some one macroing and microing that)
they annilate toss air... period
and they annilate terran air, as long as they got observers (battle cruisers dont mean s*** if you can mass dragoons)
if they mass Battle cruisers by that time you got a s*** load of broken ass dark archons all with mind control and feed back. insta win

hydras are good anti air and when masses, they can take down carriers like nothing, i dont think a few BC's can handle, maybe if you mass like 12 its impossible, but then again you got defilers with dark swarm where BC damage is zippo, and you can throw a plague on them (the ol' school fungal growth)

but yeah terran anti air, sucks balls, screw goliaths, screw missle turrets, not enough masses marines, wraith just are not worth it, valkyries and science vessal are out of the question, BC's are the only option.

which is probably why in SC2 they made broken air units for terran like the banshees and broken antiair like the thors

i thought vikings cant hit the ground unless they transform... or are thors talls enough to count as air? lol that would suck

no only Colossi count as that

Blizzard had made it clear in the interview Protoss Colossi are too tall, so they can be attacked by units that can only hit air units as well

but the point with Thors is that they're too damn expensive, you can get away with Vikings to deal with them faster

faaaaaaauuuuuuuk i really need to get the game, to know these things

i thought they were just broken unless you had colosi or broodlords period
