((OOC: This really shows how obsessed with music Kurow is.))

The minute Kurow heard the scream, the second that Ian had been pushed as if by some invisible force, Kurow's flute began shining softly. "Dude..." Kurow murmured. Strange rubes flashed across the flute, as if they were being carved in on the spot.
"You are the ones, so I bestow these gifts upon you. Use them well, young trainers."
The flute stopped glowing, but the runes were still there, inscribed in a light blue. Kurow stared at his flute's new look in awe. "Duuuuuuude..." Kurow said. He put the flute to his mouth, and played a few notes. The notes were strangely calming to Kurow, and no matter which notes Kurow played, they always seemed to form some form of peaceful melody. He stopped playing. "Dude... Awesome." Kurow said to himself, enjoying his new flute.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, Ampere, get off me!" Midna said, prying the agitated Eelektrik off her shoulder, where it had clung to her like a leech when darkness had engulfed the room. She was dimly aware of voices and shouts and other stuff, but the electric eel shocking her in fear was far, far, more pressing than the mysterious device that had appeared on her wrist in the dark.

Then the lights were back and everyone seemed to be on the floor. Strange, Midna had assumed her falling to her knees was due to Ampere's discharges, but either everyone had gotten shocked, or she was just oblivious to everything else.

Naturally, people were looking around in surprise and voicing their shock. In contrast, Midna was tending to her shock. "Sheesh, Ampere," she muttered, massaging her shoulder and shaking her head at the embarrassed electric eel. "Wait, what's this?" she stared at the strange, absurdly high-tech wristwatch on her...wrist. "You'd think I'd remember getting this..." she muttered.

"Mizu, let's get in the line," said Kyle, getting into the line. Unfortunatley, he had gotten himself into the middle of the line. Frowning, he was excited, and Mizu was on his shoulder. Then, he heard Ian fall to the ground, and he turned around to see something. He didnt know what it was. Was it darkness or something? The room went dark. "Osh! Oshawott!" screamed Mizu. "It's okay Mizu, it's okay..." he assured Mizu. The line quickly dispursed, and he didn't know what happened, but he fell to his knees. Finally, to add to his confusion, a voice went off that made Mizu squeeze him.

"You are the ones, so I bestow these gifts onto you. Use them well, young Trainers."

He then fell onto the lab floor, and he was confused as Mizu held on to him tightly. Struggling, he managed to get back up, and Mizu let go of him. "Ugh, what just happened here?" he asked, and Mizu suddenly picked up a rope. But it wasn't just any rope. It was a glowing rope, but it was faint. And it was blue. A small red circle was hanging in the middle of the rope. Mizu and him just looked at it, and he looked around the room. Multiple people were on the ground, with strange objects next to them. A few were also up, with there glowing objects. Were these the "gifts" the mysterious voice of darkness said? Use them well? Kyle was confused, and so was Mizu. But he knew one thing, that this was his object, so he wrapped the rope around his neck, so it was like a necklace made with rope and a ruby-like substance. He was afraid that something was going to happen, but nothing really did. Professor Juniper asked what had happened, and he just didn't know. A rope? It felt weird, but he shrugged off the feeling. He saw that Kurow was up, playing music, so he quickly ran past the trainers on the ground to get to him. "Nice music, but dude, what just happened?" he asked him, kneeling down to another trainer on the ground.

Returning to the same frozen hell as far as he was concerned, Victor Derome trudged up Twist Mountain, a feared and imposing place to be at the current time of year. It was Winter, Victor's most loathed season, but the sooner he could get this mission over with, the earlier he would gain his just reward. This seemed like the only thing that could possibly keep him going. But at the same time, it was enough, as he pressed on to the summit without a second's hesitation.

In a small cave lay the coveted Glacier Cup. It looked similar to those that would be handed out as trophies, but it seemed as though it was entirely made of ice. Victor eventually stumbled upon this cave. Now filled with glee, he approached to snatch the Glacier Cup, only to witness it vanish into thin air.

"DAMN IT!!" Victor punched a nearby wall with his mechanical arm. This somehow lead to the genesis of an avalanche, as snow filled the cave in an instant. Cursing his luck, Victor thrusted his body above the snow inside. He also summoned his trusted WhackAMole, which had long evolved from the Drillbur he got from his 10th birthday to a mighty Excadrill.

"I'll get that cup... if its the last thing I do," he muttered, "WhackAMole, let's start by digging our way out of this godforsaken place!"

"Drill!" Acknowledging the command, WhackAMole shovelled the snow aside as it made a tunnel that would lead to the outside world.

"Ma'am?"

"Hall? You can't have actually succeeded."

"Er, no, ma'am -- something's happened here. A Pokémon just blazed past here; some local trainers are in an uproar over it. Video analysis seems to show a Lucario. And, er..."

"Yes?"

"Many of the artifacts are in their hands, ma'am. Or at least objects matching their description."

"...I see. Standby on the line."

"Yes, ma'am."

<<>>

"Madame Caprera!"

"Caroline? What's wrong?"

"A Lucario has distributed artifacts to many trainers near the target, ma'am!"

wut They just fell out of the sky? Just like that? Into their hands? Too good to be true.

"As in, the ones Anima was made to collect."

"Yes, ma'am!"

Well. That was different. What to do, what to do...? Opportunity knocked? How to answer, from the front or the back? Did she nip them in the bud, or...?

Alas, her force wasn't strong enough! It couldn't possibly deal with two of the Elite Four, the recipient trainers, and the enigmatic Lucario distributor at the same time. No, she would try a subtler approach and play the long game... drawing her strongest foes away from her targets.

It was time for a grand feint to begin.

"Proceed as planned, after Zexion's flute. I'll contact the other lieutenants... give the details of my little plan. And have the local grunts take down whatever they can on the trainers holding each artifact. We'll need to track them down later."

"Yes, ma'am!"

Leona's fingers flew over her comm device, tapping buttons here, there -- [[Invite]], [[Conference]], and a slew of names. It wasn't long before the final product was set up:

[[Invite]]
[[Conference]]
[[Mastered]]

[[ADD UNAM:Selene Orione]]
[[ADD UNAM:Lumia]]
[[ADD UNAM:Rio Encandero]]
[[ADD UNAM:Jill Stills]]

Now she could talk to all of her coworkers at once. If nothing else, Team Anima could communicate.

Yoko ad managed to squeeze herself into a good spot in the line. She was only the 5th person so it wouldn't take her that long before she started. Mini was still resting on the top of her head. She figured the small pokemon may have been asleep considering he hadn't moved ever since he jumped up there. Before she could get to the front of the line, the lights suddenly went off leaving the entire lab in pitch darkness. However, it didn't stay that way for long as these glowing objects were starting to appear in front of everyone in the room, minus Juniper, Zexion, and Kain - which Yoko thought was kind of strange. But the thought flew from her head once she was suddenly on the ground. Her body felt heavy, like she weighed three tons or something. A voice suddenly rung through her head -

"You are the ones, so I bestow these gifts onto you. Use them well, young trainers"

After that the lights came back on and the weight on her body left her as well. "Yoko!" She heard Kain call out - something that was really unlike him - in worry as he quickly made his way over to Yoko. "Are you alrght?" She groaned but nodded slowly. "Yeah I'm o-Where's Mini?" Yoko quickly looked around for the small pokemon, sighing in relief when she saw Mini walking back to her. "I'm glad you're ok." Before anything else could be said Juniper's shriek had filled the room. Yoko jumped in surprise, while Kain simply helped her to her feet. Both Shizune's were thinking the same thing - What happened? What was that all about?

The female trainer looked down at the object that had appeared in front of her. It was a pendant, and for some odd reason it looked as if there was a glow to it. The chain the pendant was connected to was a gold, chain that wasn't exactly thin, but not a thick chain either. The pendant was probably the most expensive looking thing she has ever held, let alone seen. The center of the pendant was a large, grey stone that was about the size of a quarter. The strange thing about it was that if you looked close enough into it, it looked as if there was a grey mist moving inside. It reminded Yoko of a storm cloud, and the light from the object itself, made it look as if there was lightening inside of it. Like there was an actual storm raging inside of it. Around the gem was a golden ring that extended out about 1 centimeter. There was strange markings that went around it, like a different language, but Yoko didn't know what it was. When she turned it around, there were four rubies - in the same places as if it were a compass telling you the directions. Another thing Yoko noticed was that the gem, though it was connected to the ring, it was able to spin in place.

"The others have a strange item too." Kain said having been looking around the room.

Gere's vision briefly closed, and his mind opened.

He wasn't sure what he was hearing- certainly, it wasn't meant for humans to understand. A throbbing, a rhythm of energy rather than words, a sort of alien logic that passed by him- he found it oddly comforting. He didn't hear any words ring through his head- he felt the clinking of gears, the moving of pistons, the logical ballet of power dance about in his mind until it engraved the signature of its relevance into his mind. He would have lost himself into that blissful plane of thoughtless logic, were he not rudely returned to the realm of the living and the chaotic.

He sat up- it felt like a dream. It was a dream, he was sure- when he dreamed, it was always a logical dream of repetitive motions, a tapestry of constants. His mind simply worked that way- it saw how it did, not thinking in words, but in strings of logic.

He held something in his hand. It was weighty, but it wasn't there before, and it shimmered in the dull lab light like a box of jewels. Dark, yellowed topaz was crafted into unbroken interlocking rings, forming a continuous and even chain studded on either side with a perfect ruby in a three-pronged shape. It seemed to have little purpose but to look beautiful, and Gere examined it closely with zeal- even its symmetry was perfect.

Edmund was petting his Pokemon as he got in line to get a Pokedex and Trainer ID. Neither of them was expecting a sudden blackout. He felt Zorua's claws dig into his shoulder as he was knocked down in the ensuing melee, though it didn't quite feel like other people shoved him down. Just as mysterious, a voice he'd never heard before sounded out in the darkness.

"You are the ones, so I bestow these gifts onto you. Use them well, young Trainers."

The lights flickered back on. He started to stand up, but felt something on his right wrist. Looking down, he saw a glowing bracelet on his arm. It was yellow and pink, thick on the low side and shrinking to two connected points around his wrist. It looked a little like a stylized crescent moon. Looking around, he saw that the other new Trainers had their own glowing objects.

It was then that he noticed the pain in his shoulder again. Zorua had lost her illusion again due to the shock. He hesitantly reached towards her. "Um, that kinda hurts... Could you, um...?" Zorua opened her eyes and looked up at Edmund apologetically. She relaxed her claws and started licking at the spot where he had been injured. He smiled. He didn't mind the pain too much; as long as she was OK, he was happy.

Victor reached for his headset as soon as he faintly heard Leona's voice, having nothing to do but wait for WhackAMole to finish the tunnel that would lead them outside their current location.

"Nuvema Town, you say?" Victor spoke through the headpiece, "In that case, it's gonna take a while on my end. Got stuck in an avalanche while one of them artefacts decided to do a lil' hocus pocus."

"Exca, exca, drill!" From the distance, WhackAMole pointed outside of the cave, to signify that the tunnel was completed. Victor nodded in response, seeing his chance to get a move on.

"Rephrase that! On my way now!" Victor rushed outside, down Twist Mountain and on the road to Nuvema Town, assuming that the Glacier Cup decided to teleport itself there in addition.

Oh, dear. Derome was moving all too quickly. His arrival would accomplish nothing

"Actually..." Leona set to thinking. Applying that kind of force to Nuvema fresh off the bat was a bad idea. They'd need some kind of base of operations. Preferably not too far from Nuvema, but not too close, either. Ah, such a thing couldn't be imagined in such a short time!

"It seems like a better idea to lie low near Accumula Town until we can get things in order," she said carefully. In general, her fellow lieutenants obeyed her, but they were technically her peers. "It's probably best not to apply too much force early on, else the entire situation will collapse." A bit of friendly advice for a peer, ne?

"Anyone else going to tune in?" she added, a bit impatient.

As Caden approached Professor Juniper, he was suddenly grounded and pinned to the floor by an unseen force, and when he struggled to look up, he realized that it was not just him - everyone in the lab, excluding Professor Juniper and another individual were sprawled across the floor. He lifted his head up slightly before blacking out.

As he fell unconscious, a voice spoke out to him, saying the words:
"You are the ones, so I bestow these gifts onto you. Use them well, young trainers"

Soon after, Caden slowly came to, seeing light. He felt something materialize on his wrist, under his wristband. As he got up, he lifted his wristband slightly, and saw a blue band made of rubber with a crystal jewel attached onto it. He gazed at it for a moment before covering it up.

Unaware of Leona's new instructions, Victor continued to speed his way down the mountain, managing to get all the way down in that short frame of time. It wasn't easy to figure how this was possible. Perhaps the cave wasn't as far up the mountain as one would've thought. But in any case, Victor strolled onwards to Iriccus City.

"Anyone else going to tune in?"

"Maybe they're having a little beauty sleep..." Victor stated sarcastically.

"Not funny." A surly voice suddenly crackled over the transmitter. "It's Selene, I read you loud and clear. Unforunately, I'm still at Anima HQ; still trying to figure out how to gain access to the Tier 3." Her meaning was clear to the other lieutenants; thirteen prominent scientists had disappeared off the face of the PokeWorld several months ago. The authorities had been baffled by the disappearance, but the Anima lieutenants knew better. It had actually been a kidnapping organized by Anima, with Selene being the foremost architect of the plan. As such, she had been given the honor of trying to gain access to the major legendaries with said scientists, while the other lieutenants tried to grab the Keys. However after three months of little to no progress in finding the Tier 3 legendaries, the pride of having acheived this position was starting to wear off. Thus Selene's surly tone. "My scientists have told me seem to have fled this dimension all together; we would need all the power of the minor Legendaries to call them back. Or at least, that's what we think. In any case, I've been told to continue working on finding other ways to reach them until accessing the minor Legendaries becomes...viable." Selene seemed to be choosing her words carefully. "I can't say any more over the transmitter. It's a secure channel, but you can never know what the International Police has managed to tap into." There was a slight pause, as if someone on the other end was talking to the senior Anima lieutenant. When she spoke again, her tone sounded almost agitated. "However, I'm receiving reports Lumia is already planning to do something about them. He," Selene stressed the word, "says to set up the base and wait for future orders."

***

"That was like something out of a horror movie, eh?" Ian said, rubbing his head gingerly. His eyes, however, were still fixed on the glove on his arm. "Except for those words. What could they have meant? And this item..." Ian didn't need to say any more; as he watched, several of the Trainer's eyes flickered down to the glowing items around them. Professor Juniper, on the other hand, had pulled an Xtransceiver from her pocket and was quickly talking in it in a low undertone; in several minutes, she had hung up on however was calling and placed the transmitter in her pocket. Shakily walking to the center of the room, she began to speak.

"All right. I have no idea what happened, but the police are on their way. They'll investigate the power outage and whoever or whatever spoke here. They'll presumably also want to speak to you about these...items."

"Until then, we must wait."

It was at that moment that three thugs burst into the laboratory.

The door flew open as one of the three kicked it open unnecessarily with a large, thick boot, revealing the towering, faceless figure. Covered in beige and light brown leather and cloths, he obscured his face with a shroud that left even his eyes uncovered- his beige leather chassis both obscuring his body's shape, with the exception of his thick arm muscles and a strange tattoo on the left wrist, depicting a skull carved into a rock face.

"Hand over the Pokemon or else," he growled with a surly tone. His two compatriots walked from behind him, both equally faceless and well-equiped; the first was a lithe women of some sort, strangely thin and wearing a faceless grey mask that failed to cover her long, blond hair, as well as form-fitting grey gear- the same skull tattoo was imprinted on the back of her glove.

The last of them was the most ridiculous- a red-wearing man at least seven feet tall, a veritable giant. Stitchings in the holsters in his giant red garb had begun to be cut through, revealing the shining blades of innumerable knives held within; his hands looked large enough to crush a man's skull. Though he wore a massive, multi-layered leather overcoat, he neglected to do up the buttons nor wear anything beneath it, revealing his overly muscular chest and massive tattoo of a stony skull.

The man in beige removed a black-colored pokeball from a sidepocket, and from it released a large bluish-metal pokemon that floated in place. "Zong..." it rang out like a bell, raising colorless psychic barriers at the same time.

"There is no escape. We're team Juggernaut," the man in beige said, yet again, almost a snarl to his tone.

Hmph. Typical Selene, reading her mind. Either that, or He was being annoying again.

"Understood. Lieutenant Derome, meet me in Accumula. We'll begin scouting for a location there. Meanwhile, I'll get in contact with Lumia... see what she's up to. If she's in the area, my scouts can rendezvous with hers and see what's going on. Ah..."

An alert sign flashed on her desk -- Caroline had yet another update. Everything was going on in Nuvema Town, wasn't it?

"Yes?"

"The profiles are complete and downloading, ma'am," Caroline said tersely. Good old Caroline. She certainly didn't waste anyone's time. "They're holding off our attack, though... there are no good openings. Shall they proceed anyway?"

"Thank you. There'll be no need to press the attack. We have the information, and it seems Lumia is scheming about something in any case. Have the Woods trace any of her grunts' comm signals, and patch her through to me if you can."

She returned to conversation with her comrades. "My team has already retrieved profile data on all the trainers that have received artifacts. I'll be able to hunt them down as soon as tomorrow... though we need some kind of bait to lure the Elite Four away first. Depending on whatever Lumia's up to, that could be very easy or very difficult indeed..."

If Lumia revealed the team's objective, luring away the Elite Four would be nigh impossible. Then again, Lumia wasn't the type to thoughtlessly attack. She was, rather like Leona herself, cautious. She'd want a clear opening before she went in for the kill.

It should be interesting to watch her at work.

"Ma'am?"

"What now?"

"A team has just arrived to steal the trainers' Pokémon. They're calling themselves Team Juggernaut, apparently."

Aha. Lumia's gambit at work.

This would be fun indeed.

Midna let out a shriek as the door was kicked open, instinctively retreating as far away from the door as possible as three people came in, looking imposing and threateningly, the largest looking...large. And massive. With hands that could probably crush a person's head with ease. Ampere cowered behind her trainer, sparks of electricity flying from her body. Midna heard the demand to hand over Pokemon, but she couldn't part with Ampere. The Eelektrik was her only Pokemon, and they had been together for a long time.

Unfortunately, Ampere was also an amateur in terms of battling, and Midna an absolute novice, so she did little else than retreat behind any object she thought would hide her from the gazes of the three intruders. Skullsquisher was especially terrifying, with what looked to be a number of knives strapped to his body. From the corner of her eye, she saw that one opposing man had thrown out the first Pokemon, a bell-like creature Midna vaguely knew to be a Bronzong, something far behind her capability to battle.

"This can't be happening," she moaned to herself.

Before Aaron could let out a groan of disbelief, the door slammed open with a scream a half a second afterward. The three biggest guys he has ever seen, were standing in the doorway, threatening them to hand over their Pokemon, or else. One man sent out to what it looks like a bell that would be used for a shrine. Aaron was scared by how the man said that sentence. Aaron looked around to see the reactions of the other trainers and hearing everyone mumbling to each other. Aaron toughened up then stood up and yelled over everyone so they can hear him, "Yeah you can have my Pokemon, when I win the lottery you nut jobs!!!" Munchlax nodded in agreement. About half of the group looked towards Aaron in anger. "What? I'm letting anyone take my Pokeomn without a fight!" Munchlax was in a "ready to battle" pose. "Come and get me."

"Great, sounds like I'm already missing out on the action," Victor scoffed, "Let's just hope those goons know what they're doing. Over and out." He then proceeded to call for his helicopter.

Meanwhile, all the way over at Nuvema Town, Emma Rella and her Snover, which she happening to call XmasTree, were catching a light nap, far away from the lab. But then, just as Emma was snoring away...

"You are the ones, so I bestow these gifts onto you. Use them well, young trainers."

"YAAAAH!! WHO THE HELL SAID THAT??!!" Emma yelled, searching frantically for the owner of that voice. No-one responded, but XmasTree did pick up something that seemed to have came out of nowhere: the Glacier Cup.

"What's that?" Emma asked, XmasTree responding via shrugging its shoulders, "Huh, maybe we should ask Professor Juniper." Emma and XmasTree then proceeded to the lab, unaware that was under attack.

Zach was fighting with Ninjask. "No. I don't care how shiny- NO. How could you carry it, anyway? No, you can't have the..." He realized he new absolutely nothing about the thing in the first place, but he felt an instinct to... protect it.

THOOM.

Zach turned and saw three people enter through the door. They looked huge and menacing. "Hand over the Pokemon or else.", he heard the largest one say. I can't lose Ninjask! No matter how annoying he may be- He looked at Ninjask, trying to hide in his backpack - He's my partner.

"Yeah, you can have my Pokemon, when I win the lottery, you nutjobs!"

Zach looked up. A tall, young-looking man was standing up, yelling at the large, intimidating people. He had a Munchlax at his side. A lot of people looked absolutely pissed at him. But... perhaps he has the right idea...

"C'mon, Ninjask.", he whispered to his... Ninjask. "Don't be afraid. Maybe we should... stand up to them." Ninjask looked blankly at him. "We survived in the Old Chataeu. What makes you think we can't survive this?" Ninjask slowly nodded.

"Hey, Munchlax guy! You have a point!" He stood up, Ninjask at his side. "And you obviously can't fight them alone!" Not like I'll be any help... He beckoned to the 'Team Juggernaut', trying his best to hide his fear. "Shall we?"

Kurow walked up to the three thugs. "Juggernaut?" Kurow said, sounding out the word with his flute. The melody produced was coarse and unnerving. "Ew, that's disgusting." Kurow said plainly. "Guess music ain't you're game." Kurow continued. "So hey, I'm Kurow. So what's you're game? Stealing Pokemon?" Kurow asked. "I mean, isn't that a little hard on people?" Kurow continued his rant. He played another tune on his flute. "Well, I guess you're not the talking type, huh? So let's say we do things the way that everybody handles things these days. Let's fight, dude." Kurow said finally, finishing his rant. Cyndaquill's back lit up ablaze, and the Pokemon growled a bit. "You game, dude?"

Beige-suit nodded towards his associates, who both returned the gesture. The grey lady flicked her wrist and came up with a pokeball, detonating to release a flash of energy that condensed into a mass of writhing, purplish darkness; after a few moments, ghostly orbs of green energy formed in it, swirling inside the dark mass- closer inspection revealed that the swirl terminated at a strange rock located in its base.

The Goliath, on the other hand, pulled a small, standard-class pokeball from his pocket, in stark contrast to the custom models of the other two. He gripped it in his palm and crushed the metal sphere like a walnut, causing energy to explode out of it and form into a hulking, metal creature that let out a horrible wail-

"Aggron..." it muttered slowly, its long horns ripping holes in the ceiling without it noticing- it had to crouch down a little just to fit comfortably, much like his master.

The woman stepped forward- she held out a sack.

"Give up your pokemon if you wish to live," she said emotionlessly. "Our pokemon are very capable of destroying this lab- and anyone inside it."

She paused as there was a crackle on the other end of the microphone inside her mask; unwilling to reveal that to the people present, she made no noticeable sign of noticing.

"If you are currently in position, take a step forward," the voice on the other side of the com asked. She did so, using it as an excuse to get closer to the new trainers with the bag.

"Continue as planned. The police are arriving for an unrelated reason- this may play to our advantage. Keep on guard."

The communication cut out.

Edmund sighed at the news. Staying here wouldn't be very fun. Just then, a group of thug-looking people crashed into the lab. Each one was absurdly large, and they all shared a tattoo of some stone skull. The one up front was the first to speak: "Hand over the Pokemon or else." Hand over... Zorua? No! He would never let her away! He had gotten too attached to her since he met her at the port. Everyone else in the room seemed to have similar thoughts, as one of the boys yelled out, "Yeah, you can have my Pokemon, when I win the lottery, you nutjobs!" Another boy with a Ninjask agreed with him and offered to help. Edmund decided to speak up as well. "You aren't thinking of fighting without a full party, are you?" He didn't want to admit that he had zero combat experience, and barely knew anything his Pokemon could do other than disguise herself. Still, even false-ish hope was better than none.

"Hey um, any idea what..." Emma started as she casually waltzed into the scene, before suddenly realizing that everyone kind of had their hands full and thus gripping the Glacier Cup tightly across her chest, "Actually, sorry I asked..."

XmasTree on the other hand, instantly observed that a small collection of Pokemon appeared about to square off against an opposing Bronzong and Aggron. Eager to help out, XmasTree immediately activated its Snow Warning ability, bombarding the two oversized Pokemon with shards of hail. It then stood still, waiting for a response.

"They're onto us," Caroline warned. "Police have sent an investigation force. Water forces barely pulled out; Fire teams are mobilizing. They don't know we're there... so far."

Oh, dear. As much as she didn't want Lumia to interfere with her diversion scheme, Leona recognized that it would be quite wrong to interfere with Lumia's gambit. Besides, she'd had quite enough information for one day.

"Leave a camera and retreat. Our presence might tip them off to Lumia's operations. Fall back to Accumula and the nearby areas; spread out enough to mask your presences.

"Derome should be in Accumula by now," she added, hoping she was right. "A bit of the Water team should contact him and see if he has a plan to integrate them."

"Yes, ma'am. Relaying the orders now."

Another crisis averted. What an eventful day.

Yoko sighed. Looks like they delay for their pokedexs and IDs would be put on hold until after the talk with the police. Though what was professor Juniper expecting them to tell the police? She knew the exact same thing they did - well at least as far as Yoko knew. Next thing she knew the door was being kicked down and three people - two guys and one girl - walked forward claiming to be "Team Juggernaut", and wanting them all to hand over their pokemon. Yoko instantly glared at the three. There was no way she was handing over Mini. Meanwhile, Mini was hiding completely undernieth Yoko's hood. "Kain you have to do something." She mumbled to her brother, who was already one step a head of her.

"I know." Every person in the room were unexperienced trainers, save for himself and Zexion - a fellow Elite 4. Kain was glad to hear that the other kids wouldn't give up their pokemon without a fight, even if their chances were less than slim. It almost made him smile. "Look none of us are handing over our pokemon, so you can either leave no or things will get messy." He said slowly, and patrinizingly. Almost as if the three in front of him were so stupid to even understand the human language. Kain figured they wouldn't choose the easy way, so he threw out two of his pokeballs so that the playing field was evened out - well not unless you counted all of the other trainers who would rather fight then give up. His pride and joy, Umbreon, emerged in a flash of bright light. His first pokemon, which started off as an Eevee and he had named Siel. His second was an Absol, which was an easy favorite of his, and Kain had named him Shadow.

It was then one of the pokemon - belonging to a girl he hadn't seen in the room before - had activated it's ability; Snow Warning. Kain narrowed his eyes slightly and got ready to counter any attacks the pokemon may try to inflict on the small, eager pokemon.
