The other cards have no place in this deck, in my opinion. Maybe Dark Door, but only 1 copy, and I would have to figure out what to get rid of. Guest Chaos Pudding
personally for me i would take out the threatening roar Nah, Threat is basically 2 turns. I'll think of a place for the Gyroids and maybe 1 Dark Door, though.

The Dark One
Wow, you're right, Gors is not something I want to see. Talk about cheap. He's just about the easiest 2 tribute monster to get out in the game. Now, Magical Mallet isn't a very good card. If you like it, then side 1 or 2, but 3 is just to much. I realize that you're deck isn't built around Van'dalgyon, but either run 2 or 0. As it is, you aren't going to be drawing him with any consistency, which just makes your deck more unstable. I think it could support 2 right now, but do whatever you think is best. Maybe just side an extra? You have a gold sarcophagus in your deck. If you really have it, then give it to me, now. If not, I'll be sad. Anyway, if you're intending this to culminate into a real deck, and you don't have GS, then take it out. I'm not understanding why you're running Trunade but not Storm. I'd suggest putting a Storm in instead/as well. A card that you might want to consider running is Negate Attack. you're short on monsters, and you don't want to be caught with a clear field. NA ends to battle phase, so they can't pile on. However, this would be sided, and frankly, Threatening Roar does a better job. Also, I'd suggest running three Giant Rats. They can search for each other and for the Momongas. I'm not sure what to take out for them, but they can help to protect your Life Points, and give you some measure of field dominance. So this comes out to something like this: Side Deck:-3 Magical Mallet+2 Threatening Roar+1 Giant Trunade Main Deck:+3 Giant Rat+1 Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord+1 Heavy Storm-1 Giant Trunade-1 Gold Sarcophagus-2 Threatening Roar I switched the Trunade and TR's to the Side Deck. Feel free to switch the Trunade back out for the Storm again, if you actually had a reason. Threatening Roar does help stall, but Giant Rat does a better job of it. it can find another copy of itself to keep on protecting, and it's a monster, so it's a better draw often times. This leaves the deck at 41, a little large, but I think it will work quite smoothly.

I don't play much IRL anymore. I'll try the fixes you suggested.
Jack Witt
You need machines to run Chimeratech Fortress Dragon cause it specifaclly states that Cyber Dragon + 1 or More Machine-type monsters are needed to summon it, plus the more you fuse the more damage you can do
