[spoiler=Spoiler]At long last, Ichigo Kurosaki had defeated Sosuke Aizen. Aizen, as punishment for his crimes against humanity and Soul Society, he was imprisoned for over twenty thousand years, as an immortal such as himself could not simply be killed. His defeat, however, came at a great cost. Ichigo Kurosaki lost all of his Shinigami powers, and with them his ability to sense the dead. Though it was a tragedy to lose such a powerful fighter, Soul Society viewed it as a worthy sacrifice, and not one they would need for quite some time.

Rukia Kuchiki now sat in her barracks. She had just been promoted to the seat of Lieutenant of Squad 13, which her brother Byakuya reluctantly allowed, after Rukia's part in the war against the Arrancars. Her mind drifted to her encounter with a few other men a while ago. One of them looked suspiciously like a Hollow, but claimed that he was a Shinigami. Rukia never did sense any reiatsu from him, something she found suspicious. She had asked Ukitake if it meant that there may be other kinds of Shinigami, but he simply told her that he had no idea, and was uncertain if that was even possible.

"Lieutenant Kuchiki!" Kiyone Kotetsu cried out. Rukia turned to the third seat Shinigami.

"Kiyone," she said. "What's wrong?"

"Someone broke into the Seireitei!"

"Hollows?"

"No, humans! Although, I don't think they're normal humans…"

"So, this is what the afterlife looks like?" Wuya, the Heylin witch asked her partner Chase Young.

"It is but one of the afterlives," Chase corrected. "If whatever is happening our world is affecting alternate realities, then it is no doubt affecting their respective afterlives. It seems the Amulet of Tao was unaware of this fact."

"Halt!" Rukia said, standing before the two Heylin Warriors, complete with various members of her squad behind her. "Who are you? What is your purpose here?"

"Oh, how cute," Wuya teased. "Even the spirits of the dead don't look a day over twelve."

"Silence, Wuya," Chase said"so . "You must learn to not be fooled by appearances. If this afterlife can amass soldiers such as these, we can see what they can do."

Wuya rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me you're going into your ugly dragon form against these weaklings."

Chase chuckled. "That wouldn't be fair. I want to see how well they can last against me in my regular form." He pointed towards Rukia. "I take it that you are the leader of these fighters. If you wish to know why I am here, then you will have to convince me that you are worth my time. Wuya, you take care of the rest of them."

"With pleasure."

With a wave of her hand, a stream of green fire shot at the Shinigami. Rukia leapt into the air, and holding her sword she called out, "Dance, Sode no Shirayuki!" Her sword turned blue, and she swung her weapon at Chase Young, but the Heylin warrior block the attack with his elbow. Jumping back, he took a stance, preparing a counterattack.

"That's an interesting weapon you have," Chase said.

"It's a Zanpakuto," Rukia told him. "You better hope you survive it."

"Only if you're willing to give me a challenge."

Rukia remains one of my favorite Bleach characters, however Chase was an amazing villain in a very entertaining show I watched while younger.

So perhaps nostalgia effect, perhaps perceived underdog effect, not sure. Voting for Chase as I'd like to see if he can't get a decent way into this thing.

CHASE YOUNG. I remember that show(Xiaolin Showdown, Look it up.), and it was the s***. Rukia. Overrated Character from Overrated Manga/Anime with the Heroes winning 99.9% of the time. In Xiaolin Showdown, the villains actually won like 45% of the time, and they had a future where the original, yet fail villain, Jack Spicer, ruled. And Omi, WHY DIDN'T ANYONE PICK OMI?! He was funny and epic!

Yeah. You know who i'm voting.

I remember Chase Young in Xiaolin Showdown. One of the best villians that made up the show itself. I would vote for him, however, how can I not vote for nee-san? So yeah, hard decision but Rukia has my vote this time. Bunnies FTW.

Rukia is the only good Bleach character.

I gave up on these back when Naruto beat Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, but hey. (Jack Atlus is beating Spongebob now, so I probably should have stayed away for sanity's sake. >>)

Also, Drakken > Chase. <_<

I doubt that he's going to survive long enough to do this, but Gendo could beat Naruto.
