"The path to victory is fighting with a level head!"[/quote]

Now why would they ever make this illegal?..

well it's probably the fact that in YGO's rule system only contain "Fusion Material Monster" thereof it lack another type of material cards so it doesn't have "fusion material Spell or Trap" or saying "Fusion Material Cards" then so it would have to be added in the system in order to lift the term on this card though. Pretty much this said "Fusion Material Trap + Fusion Material Monster." it only illegal because it broke the system so another word it's an unwanted method until Konami's say so. you should notice by now that all cards that regard fusion monsters or so, said "Fusion Material Monster" not "Fusion Material Cards" especially Polymerization of course. even the reprint cards still say "Fusion Material Monsters" it only mean another type of fusion material have yet to be added to the ruling system.

EDIT: i'm glad that you actually brought this up, so it look like we have new subject to confirm in the future. ;)

No matter what, "Ultimate Offering" would be considered a "Fusion Material Monster" if it was used to Special Summon this card. There would be no need to change any rulings.

hmm then i would fail to see the term of illegal on this card when it's nothing but a 2600 ATk beatstick =_= let alone to pose any kind of threat.

"Yasushi, The Skull Knight", "Masahiro the Dark Clown", and "Tomohiro the Mountain Warrior" are all illegal for use, though most likely not due to them being broken. They are just joke cards.

I guess most of you did not consider clicking on that spoiler to find my hidden trollface :P

But yeah, I think they're joke cards as well, even if they are, in fact, real.
Those faces I believe are some sort of caricature of people working at Konami? Some sort of inside joke that's gone out of its "inside" range and into the nonsuspecting dumbfounded players' hands.

Although I like the idea itself, fusing a trap/spell and a monster.
Since by today we have lots of Trap monsters, which, I don't see why not, could be used as Fusion-material monsters as well. So As long as someone at Konami gets the brilliant idea to make some Fusion monsters that require a Trap monster and a Normal/Effect monster or 2 Trap monsters, I don't see why that wouldn't work well~

Also it'd be a new take on the good old Fusion Summon

The cards are around 10 years old, so its not a recent thing :o

I wonder if the Imakuni? Pokemon Cards were considered legal in its OCG (such as the Trainer Imakuni?! card or Imakuni?!'s Doduo).

*Remembers the Pokemon TCG video game*

*Remembers Imakuni?'s effect*

Anyway, the cards are illegal because they aren't meant to be real. They aren't official releases. Kind of reminds me of cards like "Get Your Game On!", except more joke than lack of availability to the masses.
