Dementuo
@Unknown Guy: Pokemon, in this RP, may have more than 8 moves, but they must be able to learn those moves normally. @ultimate zero: The position of Elite Four #3 has already been taken. Hydra of Ages
Character Name: Gere Percival Ise Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: Tall man in a charcoal-grey suit, with similarly business-like pants. His face is small, yet long, giving the impression of wide, doe-like eyes that seem to receive more information than they display. A rather 'blank-faced' individual, his features are all rather proportional- his face completely symmetrical, his nose and mouth both of standard shape and size and his eyes only a slight bit larger than would be considered totally normal. His eyes are light-grey irises that match his clothing, which is always a formal form of grey. He sometimes wears a dark-gray tie, which often has a depiction in black of a variety of interlocking gears and the face of a clock, and black dress shoes that are slightly scuffed, slight enough to escape most notice. The chain of a timepiece falls from the edge of his pocket, leading to an iron grey old-style pocketwatch with his name engraved on the front. Gere stands rather tall, at 6'5 though with a rail-thin body type. His arms and legs have an almost delicate, twiglike quality to them without suggesting any presence of muscle at all. His mid-body and upper leg structures suggest a cushy, if not decadent lifestyle without the need for much exercise- he has the typical shape of one in deep academia. His hair is thin and worn almost down to the shoulders, tapering at a sharp rate to a fine point, and some strands are beginning to grey due to a genetic disorder; he does not dye his hair to restore their color. He wears a pair of wide, rectangular glasses that seem similar to reading glasses, the rims colored a silvery sort of iron, with the bottoms of the lenses left rimless. Biography: Son of a Clockmaker in Lacunosa Town, Gere was sent to a boarding school in Castelia City for most of his life. He did well in most of his subjects -though he apparently found subjects such as Literature difficult, as well as most of the artistic classes- but was noted as being a social recluse that did not get along with others. When assigned to a group project, he proceeded to ignore his other group members entirely and either do the assignment entirely by himself- or simply not participate at all. He talked very little, and people started to suspect him of a variety of mental disorders- ranging from Asperger's to dyslexia to Antisocial Disorder. In the end, he was never formally diagnosed but watched carefully by the school's doctors. Due to his father necessitating shutting down the family business, Gere stopped attending that school soon after, and returned home. While there, he was told that his family simply didn't have enough to make ends meet, and without being told, he struck out on his own. As a parting gift from Castelia from a fellow concerned student, he received Neutral- who, as it is, has been his only real companion. With a pokemon and no real destination or goal in mind, most assume Gere is a wandering trainer- which he supposes that he he is, as most of his money is attained through battles and using trainer-oriented services. Faction: Trainer Artifact: Memory Chain Other noteworthy info: Both incredibly quiet and incredibly logical, Gere can almost be described as emotionless, but almost endearingly so. He approaches everything with a sort of understated childlike curiosity, best described by his 'wide-eyed' look. Basically, though he is almost by definition a loner, it's because he doesn't really understand the concepts of bonds, emotions and friendship rather than from any real personal choice. Starter Pokémon: Klink Pokémon Team: Klink(Neutral) - Steel

Character Name: Lumia Age: 18 Gender: Female Appearance: Lumia has either the fortune or missfortune to appear quite a bit younger than her actual age is. Standing at a around 4'5 feet, she is very short and unlikely to get much taller. Her hair is a golden sort of blond, incredibly silky, soft and left to grow almost to her ankles, tied about halfway down her waist so it doesn't get totally out of control. Her eyes are large and youthful, showing off bright blue irises that can seem spectacularly innocent- or icily dangerous, should it come to such. She has a small nose, cheekbones that curve upwards more into a natural smile and regularly sized ears, with a couple long bangs that usually get in the way of her face. Her body is lithe and slender, but has surprising amounts of strength and muscle in them, much like a swimming or sprinting athlete. Typically, she wears feminine-seeming pure white clothing, with the occasional splash of light lavender for color, disregarding practically any other shade in existence. She almost never appears in a typical Team Anima uniform, electing instead to wear the symbol on an armband across her left shoulder- a small, but definitely noticeable aspect of her 'cutesy' outlook. Biography: A child from a fairly rich household living in an estate astride Undella City, it's not known exactly why or how she got involved in Anima- aside from the face she joined, and raised in the ranks obtusely quickly, not without raising a few eyebrows. The daughter of a vastly important businessman whom nobody knows the name of -anonymous as most successful businessmen aim to be- Lumia had a sort of reputation about her of being a delicate flower that something is just... wrong with. She acts perfectly nice, and if asked, people would say she hasn't a violent bone in her body- at yet, at the same time, people simply can't relax around her, as if there's a shark in the water that they recognize only on a subconscious level. Lumia had been educated by birth by a variety of tutors, few who stayed particularly long. While not a perfect student, she made her parents quite assured she wouldn't be a simpleton when she eventually inherited their estate, if not a businessman. She had very little will of her own, and thus they expected to marry her off eventually. They were taken completely by suprise when, on the day of her 18th birthday and her legal adulthood, Lumia took her money and moved to an undisclosed location. Though she went so she could involve herself more closely with Team Anima, nobody could imagine the connection- How, exactly, did a sheltered girl learn of and join Anima in the first place? What's her business in doing so? Does she have a reason? Presumably, the only one who could answer that question would be Lumia herself, who has been known to be bad at answering things directly. Faction: Anima Other noteworthy info: Able to play the violin, piano, and flute, along with a variety of other semi-classical assorted instruments. Lumia is known for being a very easygoing Lieutenant so long as her needs are met- but she absolutely terrifies her subordinates if she is any way angered. In the same way, when dealing with enemies, she prefers the diplomatic route to be attempted at first and usually attempts to charm her foes- while proceeding to show no mercy if they fail to agree afterwards. Lumia's entire strategy is based around methods of restricting the opponent, specifically though the use of the technique 'Trick Room'. Her team will eventually be made up of slow but ridiculously powerful heavy hitters alongside slow Trick-room generators. Starter Pokémon: Slowking Pokémon Team: Slowking(Epoch) - Water/Psychic Reuniclus(Infinity) - Psychic Dusknoir(Singularity) - Ghost Rhyperior(Cambrian) - Ground/Rock Machamp(Permian) - Fighting
I'm assuming Lieutenants also start off with only 1 pokemon? Also, by 'learn techniques normally' do you include TMs with that? Because if not, my idea of a Trick-room themed trainer is a little shot, as almost nobody learns Trick Room by level up, heh... Zextra
Yes, TM's are considered "naturally learned". Essentially, what Dem means is that you can teach your Pokemon any legal moves - unless it is an event move (such as a Suicune with Sheer Cold, a Raikou with Weather Ball, etc.) Also, both your apps are very nice and detailed, so they're both accepted! evilfusion
Bleh...probably not my best work. Character Name: Midna Cellenberg Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: She has raven hair allowed down to her shoulders. Her eyes are brown, and her usual outfit is a light, blue jacket partially zipped over a red shirt, and black jeans. Her face has a few freckles on her nose, and she goes to pains to appear slightly older than she is by wearing a thin layer of red lipstick. Biography: As a young girl growing up in Mistralton City, Midna was fascinated by the Chargestone Cave, spending many hours exploring and playing in the area as she aged. Eventually, after receiving a Pokeball as a birthday gift, she went out and scoured the cave for days for the right Pokemon to capture, eventually settling on the relatively rare Tynamo, which she adored of all the other Pokemon dwelling there. Still a little too young in her parents' eyes to travel the world, she trained the Tynamo on her own time while playing with it, most notably in the same cave she caught it. Now that she's of a better age, she recently got the go-ahead to travel the region. Faction: Trainer Artifact: Hi-Tech Watch Other information: Despite her Pokemon evolving, she is still relatively an amateur and has not had time or the funds necessary to train her Pokemon. Two-Hundred And One
Hm... I'll reserve again, for E4 #1, since nobody else will. Probably, at least. Since he E4 don't really come into play until the end, do they count for our character limit? I know they probably do, but I'd just like a bit of confirmation. Two-Hundred And One
Name: Maxwell Sandstone Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: Maxwell has shaggy blonde hair, draped around blue eyes and a calm, friendly face. He wears a tan visor and a tan and white blazer over a white t-shirt and beige pants. (He gets ridiculed a lot for his monochrome ensemble.) His stance matches his nature - relaxed and inviting. Biography: Maxwell was an orphan - his mother died at birth, and nobody knew who his father was. He didn't mind, though, as at the age of 6 he was formally adopted by his foster family (the Sandstones) in Oreburgh City, and was enrolled in the local trainer's school soon afterwards. He went to Sandgem to receive his starter, a Turtwig, and decided to journey through Unova, after reading a pamphlet his (foster) parents gave him. On the way to Canalave he caught his Larvitar, who he soon based his whole team around. He journeyed through Unova, and soon proved to be worthy of being an Elite Four member... admittedly, only number one, but it's a start. He has kept this position for two years, much longer than he expected to. He is quiet and optimistic, tends to forgive people easily, and tries to be kind and friendly with everyone, but he has a tendency to bottle up his 'negative' emotions... It's difficult to completely set him off, but if you do, RUN. Faction: Elite Four #1 Other noteworthy info: He based his team around the Sand Stream ability, so he should incredibly easy to beat by exploiting weaknesses. His arena is deep in a desert cave, as his fights often have a lot of collateral damage. His fighting style is surprisingly reckless for someone so calm. Starter Pokémon: Turtwig Pokémon Team: Torterra (Grass/Ground), Tyranitar (Rock/Dark), Durant (Bug/Steel), Golurk (Ground/Ghost), Krookodile (Ground/Dark), Excadrill (Steel/Ground)
