Smashsquatch
Well he does eat human flesh and then is slained by Beowulf. Afterwards Grendel's mother seeks revenge for her son only to suffer the same fate as her side. Afterwards Beowulf hung the head of Grendel as a trophy. Mr.Robot
The mother seek for revenge is her own right considering they slayed her son. Though what could Grendel do really? Any special ability I should know about this beast?

Though what could Grendel do really? Any special ability I should know about this beast?
Grendel came in the night and massacred Hrothgar's men, even dragging some of them away to eat later. He was a grotesque figure, not only literally, but metaphorically. He represented the evil, and Beowulf the good. The Christian coloring throughout the poem reinforces the theme of good vs evil, that Grendel was a hell-demon and Beowulf sent from God to destroy him. It is even suggested that Grendel is a descendant of Cain. So he would have demon-like abilities. Anyway...a new week is coming so time to pick up another monster of the week. Sometimes a killing machine monster that only wan't to see the world burn is better than a monster with sympathetic origins. I said SOMETIMES so no s*** yo! Mr.Robot
well, that depends on what your view of eternal life...If your immortal and not under the control of necromancer like Shauron is controlling the ringwraith...maybe it could be awesome. Just as long as you don't fall in love.

Mr.Robot
well....Tolkien and his monster are from a very, very long time ago...thus that would mean his lore for his monster would be based on the classic lore like how vamps would burn if they met the sun or like how fire can drive evil spirit away or even how demons can't past anything with salt. Mr.Robot
So anyway it's a brand new week. That means a brand new monster so I pick BEHEMOTH! The Behemoth is a mythical beast that is mentioned in Job 40:15-24. In that case we better call War from Darksiders he'll kick it's ass.
Mr.Robot
so, let's bring all the monster back, Grendel VS Ringwraith VS Behemoth. Who would win and why? Grendel would easily die first either by getting stamped by Behemoth or obliterate by the Ringwraith.

Y2Jgrave
Behemoth is said to devour all souls so I'll go with that. Ringwraith however is powerful considering that they are bunch of spirits that actually are bunch of walking mass energy but they have one too many weakness like fire or sunlight... Mr.Robot
when Y2J mention that Behemoth devour souls I automatically pick him seeing that souls could means so much than just giving life to living things. Plus in supernatural, they did a play on souls as if they could fuel a body into a war machine just like how Castiel became god and practically nigh-omnipotent after swallowing all the monster's souls from purgatory so the Behemoth might be nigh-omnipotent as well.
