anyway, look's like we really need a new topic how bout the AVATAR? and before y'all jump to aang yeah....there's really not much horror in the animated series but in the real myth, Avatar In Hinduism, an avatar, Hindustani: [ˈəvət̪ɑːr], English: /ˈæv.ə.tɑːr/, (avatāra: Devanagari अवतार, Sanskrit for "descent" [viz., from heaven to earth]) is a deliberate descent of a deity from heaven to earth, or a descent of the Supreme Being (i.e., Vishnu for Vaishnavites) and is mostly translated into English as "incarnation", but more accurately as "appearance" or "manifestation". Basically Avatar is like God in the Hindu walking on earth in human form, just that he does have any memory of being in heaven (wonder if the hindu have a heaven) and each time he/she die, he/she would be reborn but this time with an entirely new persona or characteristic, much more like Doctor Who after being generate in the next doctor. That's pretty much like zeus-level mythos so I think it qualify as a topic
Mr.Robot
lol! Y2J, I rep you for cas assbutting and for that comeback, And for the avatar topic sounds fine. Though, a god-like being that can only use the four element sound so weak imo..
Smashsquatch
Sort of does, but it makes you wonder, what'd it be like to be able to use those sorts of abilities. You know I always wondered who'd win in a fight either an Alchemist or the Avatar?
Mr.Robot
@Smah, that would be so cool, 2 dudes who bending the elements somewhere in the middle of america... considering the "god"status of an avatar, Avatar would probably win...imo
.Corgi
Alchemists just f*** around with liquids and stuff, I don't see how an alchemist could win if he/she/that didn't make explosives. Or was pretty strong.
Smashsquatch
There is such a thing as "Flame Alchemy" which honsetly I think kicks the Avatar's Fire Bending abilities!

Mr.Robot
@Don, that movie was about a guy using an avatar while story wise,it's pocahontas on steroids but still it's an awesome movie but I hated it for starting the 3d craze. Unlike the last air bender movie..urrgh

Y2Jgrave
A Brief History On The Alchemists Alchemists have always been strange beings. Collecting vast amounts of seemingly irrelevant information, they are convinced that they will somehow gain the knowledge that will allow them to take over the world. They also hold onto the illusion that lead can be turned into gold, even though nobody has managed it yet. To solve this problem, Alchemists everywhere have agreed that the only way to turn lead into gold is through magic. They came to the conclusion that magic can be explained with a very complex equation. And if magic is real through science then it is possible to turn lead into gold. However this proved too hard so they decided to try and change lead into an inky substance instead. This was much easier but one third of the Alchemist population was wiped out due to lead poisoning. The remaining Alchemists decided to go back to the lead-gold problem, which was impossibly impossible but had a much lower death rate. It has been a secret since the Middle Ages, that the alchemists in ancient Greece did in fact discover a way to change ordinary metals into gold.. Don't tell anyone*
does that sound like someone who could beat up an omnipotent being such as an avatar?

Smashsquatch
1. Dr.Strange FTW 2. Who knows the maybe the Alchemist went to the Hindu to "get information", but they called the work of the Devil and then the Alchemist and Avatar got into a fight! 3. Yes I do know the Alchemist never suceeded at their goal why do you think they're still trying to attempt it, if there is any living alchemist out there!
