The first Predator movie was a freakin classic by far, the second one wasn't as good as the first by a long shot! As for Alien the first one was pretty good, but I prefer the sequel Alien(s) that one kick the first 1's ass by far, but still I like these movies! Then there's Alien vs Predator which I enjoy watching and is amazingly kickass, but the sequel could have been better! Although I did like the Alien-Predator Hybrid! The first movies was about the military being hunted and that's scary to think that us human, moreover the army, top of the food chain being hunted down. The 2nd predator movie was lack of that and the AVP movies just scrap that idea of making them like an intergalactic warriors instead of being a hunter who hunts stuff. The new movie takes back to their roots, it's all about the hunt. Seeing that there will be a sequel for the predators movie, I'm excited about the direction it's going. If you can come out with an entirely good idea, they'll probably give you your enough creative freedom. Plus, horror movies usually get that treatment as long as it's not an adaptation or involve more then one or two writer your probably good.
