Ancient Alien yeah...no..

most people would think it's like an inventive thinking but really?

if you look at it, people who believe this "ancient alien" only after the book called "Chariot of Gods" was publish by Erich von Däniken in 1968. Erich then was crown as a genius for the book and from then on people been talking about it ever since but no, not really though.

H. P. Lovecraft should be the one be credit with creating this so called "ancient alien". Just read whatever he write and you'll see what I'm talking about especially The Call of Cthulhu, a 1926 novella but the english was like very english back then. H. P. Lovecraft also said that while he was shitting in a public toilet, he had a dream so he wrote about it, so whatever the story of ancient alien is, in my brain I keep thinking like HEY, it's about that story that that guy created while his in the toilet.

But I really like H. P. Lovecraft though, don't get me wrong. Probably no. 1 in my top 10 horror writers....

I can't believe the topic was almost changed to tentacle porn <_< lol

Anyway, there's a belief that aliens visited Earth around the time of the major Central/South American tribes flourished (Incas, Mayans and Aztecs) and also visited other cultures. Many cultures around that time had similar beliefs in winged serpents, such as Quetzalcoatl and the dragon in China. Also, pyramids began springing up in separate locations all over the planet. These objects are nearly perfect in construction, something we can't even do with our best technology. The Mayans also developed a calendar that is more accurate than our calendar today and a concept of zero.

@Nexus, the idea that they came here in ancient times is probably why they think this.

I don't belive this, I think that this idea came because that they can't belive that there were more inteligent people before nowdays, just because they didn't had a compter doesn't mean that they were dumb.

and if I remember well I heard soemthing about a alian that got to earth and disguised as aquatic creature and it ruling earth from inside out, I lol at that but I think that it is worth a research about it.

Explanations for the origins of religions as reactions to contact with an alien race, including interpretations of the Old Testament of the Bible. According to von Däniken, humans considered the technology of the aliens to be supernatural and the aliens themselves to be gods. Däniken asks if the oral and literal traditions of most religions contain references to visitors from stars and vehicles travelling through air and space. These, he says, should be interpreted as literal descriptions which have changed during the passage of time and become more obscure. Examples such as: Ezekiel's revelation in Old Testament, which he interprets as a detailed description of a landing spacecraft with angels in the likeness of man. Moses and the directions 'God' gave him to construct the Ark of the Covenant, which is assumed to be a communication device with an alien race. Lot and his extended family being ordered by human like 'angels' to go to the mountains, due to the destruction of the city of Sodom by God. His wife looked back at the possible nuclear explosion, and fell "dead on the spot". Däniken attempts to draw an analogy with the "cargo cults" that formed during and after World War II, when once-isolated tribes in the South Pacific mistook the advanced American and Japanese soldiers for gods.

I guess it does now...but personally the idea of alien teach us and raised us from stupidity is kinda cool in a sense and in 2012, nothing happen but an alien invasion will. At least it give purpose to alien other than you know...we came to take your brain

I don't think I was here during the ancient alien topic but hell I seem to missed out on the fun..hope not though.

So ancient alien, I get it that we're once dumb hairless ape and this merciful things came and give us knowledge. Neh, we give the credit to alien to much I mean the Egyptian are smart, this time around kids is ok but are we stupid now compared to the times when we were doing pyramids? no, we're just lazy.

so who's H.P Lovecraft?

@Nexus there was a famous book and movie about creatures like that, but it was mianly about this british scientist who actually travels foward in time and discovers a weird primate-like creature who ate and had humans as slaves.

I do think there is a race of ancient aliens who have been living among us studing our ways of life and then find a moment when were most vulnerable and then try to kill off the human race. Scientist have believed that these Reptilians hide among us, but we just don't know or see it, because they think they have the ability to disguise themselves as ordinary humans. Which reminds me to never go to an "Underground Party"

@FTW yeah the Quetzalcoatl was thought to be there God and the Chinese Dragon is known as the Dragon Kings theres 4 of them (also known to be a Reptilian) Literally here's a whole list of them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_reptilian_humanoids

Who's H.P Lovecraft?

well..his just a guy who wrote novella..horror novella! after getting dreams (that's what he says <_< )
Mostly with strange creatures, god-like creature so probably the best writer(this is quite arguable for the people who also read Edge Allan Poe's work, like me).
Necronomicon was a book or manuscript about the old ones(or gods from outer space) in one of Lovecraft's novella, The Hound but it was mention in most of his other work. The book was also mention in Evil Dead 2 so among other things...

and for the ancient alien thing, the people in those days call them god/gods nothing more, Lovecraft made several work based upon gods that are from outer space
with no relation to the pass(like the Incas, Mayans and Aztecs) then came Erich von Däniken with the theories. Original? maybe not but do I hate the idea of ancient aliens? kind off but not really. It's a good food for thought, at least it's better than the idea that god was once a man that learn the divinity of humanity and became god..now that's a bit moronic and also the flying spaghetti monster

I wonder if Jesus was a Ancient Alien.
This may sound disturbing, but some have believed that every US President is secretly a Reptilian in disguise!
I don't know if that's for sure, but if you think of it like this it sort of makes sense, the reason they cover alien activity, they're hiding their own kind to hide themselves.

I wonder if Jesus was a Ancient Alien.

Let's take to the account that if ancient alien is real.

the characteristic of an ancient alien would be

*Fall/descent from the sky.

*Have it's own transportation devices aka other mythical beast - Dragons or any other winged beast like creature or just a spaceship-like device

*Has it's own monument which would one day be some sort of use (maybe shoot laser to the sun?)

*Have it's own clothing that assemble a space suit.

now look at Jesus

*Born as a baby

*Born to a woman

*His mother has a husband

*Can only do miracle with the permission of God

* Don't have any transportation devices that's mythical or look remotely like any spaceship

*His clothing..yeah look just like any other human cloths

*Didn't even have a monument except for the church (which was build probably years or thousand years later because back then people don't need any specific building to pray in)

Your argument is invalid!

Jesus was clearly an alien.

Born as a baby: Who said aliens are'nt small in the start?

Born by a woman: She was a virgin. If you saw Alien, you know how that happened.

His mother had a husband: That dose'nt affect Jesus being born, because he never humped.

Can only do miracles with the permission of god: No, the permission of his mothership; he may have been a telepath.

Dont have any transtorpation devices that looks myticalor look remotkey like any other spaceship: When Jesus was revived, it is said that he was "lifted by God, up to heaven". It was clearly an invisible spaceship.

Clothing: He was a smart alien that tried to hide the fact that he was an alien by weaeing te same clothes as any other human.

Did'nt have a monument: Does all aliens have monuments? Don't think so.
