Mr.Robot
lol, I know right. It was originally a Hong Kong horror movie then the Hollywood version was made seeing how a lot of remake of Asian Horror movie are cheap to make and is easy money. The indian remake explain more of how the girl saw the ghost after surgery. oh and happy easter yo!
Smashsquatch
Ironic ain't that the Indian version explains it better! You know I'm just curious, but has anyone seen the Human Centipede?
Mr.Robot
Saw it 2 or 3 months ago..forgot but man it was a good movie plus it's from dutch which is surprising. There's a sequel coming out later this year I heard..
Smashsquatch
I never saw it mainly because the idea sounds a little f***ed up! Sort of like House of the Dead Overkill!
Mr.Robot
it's more like a combination of torture porn films with a modern take of nazi-exploitation film.
Smashsquatch
Still sounds freaky, but not as bad as House of the Dead Overkill was!
FTW (For The Wynn)
Well, I bid all of you a Happy Easter. So the current topic is The Eye and its numerous versions. A lot of films are remade over and over again unfortunately. Take Invasion of the Body Snatchers for example. Well, I have never watched The Eye, nor have I ever heard much about it, so this is interesting for me. I find it lulzy to be spending Easter in a horror club ^^
Smashsquatch
Well it is about the Death of Jesus so I guess it sort of makes sense to say it!
FTW (For The Wynn)
In its own unique way. Here's a fun question to ask. Jesus died for the sins of man and then soon after resurrected. Does this make him a zombie? No, I'm not being blasphemous, I am just having a fun time.
Mr.Robot
Didn't Jesus die on Friday which would be Good Friday..anyway, how did the day that celebrate the resurrection of Jesus has a bunny that lay eggs for a symbol? never fully understand that. And on the subject of The Eye movies, in the Indian and the Hong Kong version, it fully stated that all the ghost and vision that the girl see/saw are from the memory of the original owner of the eyes which was planted in eyes, kinda like body memory. The English version with Jessica Alba is more to the theme of her sanity,is she sane or insane.
✪RION
Yeah I don't get the easter bunny's connection..as for the eye movies I only watch the hollywood version with Jessica Alba so it didn't explain much about seeing ghost part and they drag on as if she was mentally unstable
FTW (For The Wynn)
I don't recall how the Easter Bunny legend started either. It might be from Pagan origins, like Santa Claus and most of Halloween, or it might be something else.
Smashsquatch
I don't know why it's the Easter Bunny, exactly, but the eggs are suppose to be like a symbol for rebirth, like when Jesus rose from the dead! Also BTW I know the secret of Roswell staring Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEyHcEq-Ylg
✪RION
So I justed google the easter bunny trying to find the origin of it but the only thing I get was an explanation of easter day and the bunny being popular in pop culture. I wonder if the bunny is a pagan god? That would be cool and maybe I would write a fanfic about that...

Gabriel Maeso
Me and a friend imagined if it wasn~t a bonnuy but a zombie, sinse jesus get back from the dead so he was a zombie, people would eat human brains from people who were killed during the holyday for the purpose of getting brains to people to eat, it would be a realy cool tradidtion!
Jesus a zombie? Nope....there is a difference between a resurrected being and a reanimated corpse. The corpse is not living, has no soul, memories, attachments, emotions, ideas, etc. Everything that makes a human human is not present in a zombie. Zombie is more like a guy with his dead brain function only on instinct. Plus coming back from the dead is different than being undead or walking dead. Jesus wasn't reanimated. He was resurected. He became alive again. He wasn't dead flesh walking.

FTW (For The Wynn)
Obviously it is a small Easter joke. Also, it was an already existing joke. @Smash, and what is that secret? @Killswitch, it could be. Pagan gods come in many forms.
✪RION
I know it's a joke but it's getting tiring and there's just a huge sea like size difference between being resurrected and being reanimated. Plus it's the same joke every year since 2004. and on the bunny matter, I think it originate from a pagan festival that came in almost in the same period as easter did, maybe earlier or later than the day of easter just like Día de los Muertos, Halloween and All Souls Day. FTW (For The Wynn)
Like I said, it is entirely possible. Most of the tales about Santa are from Pagan lore. Same for Halloween.
Mr.Robot
Santa Claus is like a combination of a lot of lore being stuff into one big turkey. Saint Nicholas (a saint who bring toys to young orphans often during x-mas) + Christianization version of a pagan germanic pagan gods (most commonly Odin) + Sinterklaas( a pagan god like figure who wears red and all that jolly goodness) + Zanta Claw ( a pagan god of fertility during the winter) = Santa Claus kill all none believer!
