Akio gave a polite smile. "Quite frankly, my dear, I can't let you do that. You seem reasonable, though, so I want to know. What will you do after you shut this portal down? As I said before, I refuse to let my men die while I just stay and watch. Still, the amount of information you have is quite impressive." Akio looked towards the closest soldier. "A leak in my sector, shameful. Hm." He stared back at the girl before him. [i]I wonder how much she really knows. If she does know so much, and if we do have a leak, why doesn't she simply talk to the leader? Why is she going through me first? Wait a minute...[/i] A smile curled on Akio's lips. "You're no fool." He walked past her, disregaurding her after that. She does have the leak, but she doesn't know who the superior is. She is either a spy, or she wants to interrogate him for the information on the whereabouts of the other portals.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

The woman finished setting up the devices, which were now blinking red lights to indicate that they were active. She connected a tube in between the two, causing their blinking red lights to turn yellow, now indicating they were on standby. [color=#0000CD]"These devices contain micro black holes inside of containment fields. When I activate them, they will travel down these tubes and be set on the path to collide with each other. As they get closer, their combined gravitational force causes them to accelerate. As they accelerate, due to relativity, their mass increases, as their masses increase, their gravitational force increases. As their gravitational force increases, they accelerate more. Eventually, they will break the light barrier, and proceed to infinity, creating a controlled paradox. This paradox will then be released into the portal, destabilizing it harmlessly from space and time. Don't worry. None of us will be affected by the event, but your portal won't work anymore, and everyone will be happy!"[/color]

Akio turned towards the lady, "No offense, but you break it you buy it." Akio smiled, "Even if it saves the universe." A few moments happened between the two before he made his next move. Akio pressed a small device on his ear and began to mumble into it. "Hmph, you're lucky. I'm not authorized to use force." Akio stared at the portal, "I have no idea why. Still, don't screw with our plans anymore. If you're really just trying to save the universe, then you shouldn't worry about conquest. I assure you we mean to leave the universe in tact. How can we rule over something that's destroyed?" He looked in the sky, "I'm not denying the fact that it can be viewed as wrong, but I don't think you're the judge of right and wrong. So try not to interfere anymore, and, as you said, everyone will be happy." Akio showed a mock smile that was a bit too enthusiastic, before proceeding to drop his facial expressions altogether.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Trixie stopped smiling and also turned serious. [color=#0000CD]"I don't think you understand. You need to stop waging war across dimensions. Period. It's not the natural order of the universe. Very limited travel between dimensions, yes, but not a full-scale war. The energy you have been funneling into this project could have been used to advance space travel in order to colonize another planet, or to travel back in time in order to prevent the catastrophe that devastated your world from happening."[/color] She then pressed a button, activating the devices and releasing what looked like a bunch of squiggles organized into a ball. The tiny squiggle ball entered the portal, and the portal collapsed in on itself, leaving nothing in its place.

I was told to begin the end of the war within 24 hours of my arrival. I have been here for 2 hours and 13 minutes. You have less than 22 hours before our strike teams deploy, destroying all of your portals, deporting the inhabitants of Earths CDM-144 and CDM-192 back to their home dimensions, and mind-wiping anyone who has the knowledge to create these portals. Kaiuke tore off down the street, his D-Wheel accellerating rapidly.

[i]Good...That duel back there doesn't seem to have damaged the engine,[/i] Kaiuke thought [i]Now let's just kick back and have some fun.[/i]

He looked to the left, noticing Alexander speeding alongside him on his board, managing to keep up with him despite his Runner's performance.

[i]The hell? There's no way a regular duel board has that much juice in it,[/i] he thought [i]Looks like this guy's more than a funny face.[/i]

He jammed on the clutch and swerved in the middle of the road, sliding sideways along before coming up to the corner and shooting forwards instantly.

Daniel Gazed at his deck. [i]I can't draw this turn because of the effect of Reckless Greed[/i] he thought as he began his turn. "I flip summon Topaz Tiger. Now I start by doing a bit of Contact Fusion, Fuse Sapphire Pegasus and Topaz Tiger which allows me to summon Crystal Mutation Topaz-Sapphire Horned Beast." he said as the two crystals together and then came out a Tiger like animal with horns. "Now I draw," he said as he drew the next card called Crystal Warrior Amber Knight. "Now I drew a monster so I am not effected by effects. Now by sacrificing my Amber Mammoth and Battle Fader I can special summon Amber Knight,” said Daniel as he slapped the card on the Disk. “Now by its effect I can special summon one card from my Graveyard, so come forth Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle,” he screamed as the little creature came forth. “When this card is special summoned you can put as many Crystal Beasts as possible in your Spell and Trap Card Zone,” he said as he summoned Cobalt Eagle, Emerald Tortoise, Amethyst Cat and Amber Mammoth. “Now face the Wrath of my next two fusions. Go Crystal Mutation Amethyst-Amber Clawed Mammoth and Ruby-Cobalt-Emerald Winged Crimson Tortoise,” he said as the beasts appeared. “Now due to the effect of Amethyst-Amber Clawed Mammoth draw one card, I drew a Trap card so I gain the attack points of one of your monster’s as my Life Points and I choose your ABCDEF - Metal Superforce Battletech Warrior,” he said as his Life Points were raised to 4550 and he set the Trap. “Now I activate the effect of Ruby-Cobalt-Emerald Winged Crimson Tortoise which allows me to gain the attack of one card on your side of the field, I choose ABCDEF - Metal Superforce Battletech Warrior,” he as his monster’s attack was raised to 6500. “According to Amber Knight’s effect I can add one card from my hand to my deck,” he said as he took a Trap out of his deck and set it, “Now It’s over for you, Crystal Mutation Ruby-Cobalt-Emerald Winged Crimson Tortoise attack ABCDEF - Metal Superforce Battletech Warrior, Crystal Mutation Topaz-Sapphire Horned Beast attack Winged Metal Warrior, Rainbow Dragon attack Metal Warrior – Ultimate, Crystal Mutation Amethyst-Amber Clawed Mammoth and Crystal Warrior Amber Knight attack Directly,” he said as he saw them all lunge into attack and hoped that his Life Points fell [Your LP: 7500 – 450]

"That's nice." Akio said as he looked at the sky, "And you'll tell my superior this information as well, I suppose?" A slight smile formed. "Who are you to determine the natural order?" He continued walking, "Why don't you follow me? I'll take you to the superior, if he's even here. He's probably off in the other dimension." As he walked, he had to get something off of his chest. "In what way are you guards different then us? Just as you assume your superiority over my dimension, I assume my superiority over that other wretched Earth. How am I wrong, and you right? How is a strike force NOT war?" He stared at her, refusing to go on further until he got an answer. "There is no peacekeeper in a war, you're just on their side. You can't have a neutral faction, it's illogical and impossible. If you're on their side that's fine, but don't try to convince me that limiting the power of the greats benefits all." He tried to remain as calm as possible. In any form of fighting, verbal or otherwise, showing anger is the first step to defeat. It clouds judgement. He needed more control. "We aren't the villains here, you are. You act as scientists, trying to control some grand experiment. Well, I refuse to believe that you're in charge, and I'd love for you to deploy this strike force. It'd make you no better then we are." A smirk formed from the smile. "It's funny how easily creatures get good intentions and good deeds mixed."

Akarui's trap card flipped open "Nope, Battle Metal." Akarui started "Now, if all my monsters have attack lower than one of yours all my monsters gain attack points equal to your strongest monster, nope, not original, its current, plus I can force one of my monsters to attack your turn." Akarui explained [ABCDEF ATK: 4500 -> 11000|WMW ATK: 2850 -> 9350| MW - U ATK: 3600 -> 10100] Akarui smiled as his Life Points hit 6500 by the cost of the card "Now then since he has immunity, Metal Warrior - Ultimate will attack your turn at the cost of another thousand Life Points." Akarui explained as his life points went lower [LP: 7500 -> 6500 -> 5500] "Metal Warrior - Ultimate! Attack his Crystal Warrior Amber Night! End this duel with Destruction Blade!" Akarui declared as his Metal Warrior's blade suddenly expanded out of nothing and its wings started sprouting metallic blew flames as it rushed to annihilate the Crystal Warrior, along with the rest of his life points "It's over. Metal Warrior - Ultimate is immune to traps." Akarui explained "Plus you never know what could pop out from this last card in my hand." Akarui taunted.

[i]"Yep. Now we just have to show him what we can really do,"[/i] Alex thought to Umbris as he continued to accelerate alongside Kaiuke. As they reached the corner, Alex also turned sideways in order to made the sharp turn. Both he and Kaiuke were neck-and-neck one second...

... and the next, Kaiuke was ahead of Alex by at least ten feet by the time they rounded the corner.

"Yes I know he is though your Trap Isn't, I activate Crystal Negation," he screamed as he activated his Trap. "This card's effect states that If a effect has been activated, destroy that card and negate its effect if I have a crystal card on the field." The card was destroyed. [i]I hope this works because If it doesn't I will have to use my other Trap[/i] he thought. Daniel gazed at his opponent thinking about what would happen if he lost, his Life Points were back where they should be though this doesn't mean it is over.

Jess accelerated hers next to him, aiming for the centre of the city when she saw the main portal collapse and vanish. "The portal is gone, does that mean the war is over or just that someone destroyed the portal. Either way that is good news for us as it will be harder for them to keep adding in troops to this world as the ones already here would be dieing slowly through the duels, meaning we stand more of a chance of beating those guys." As she rode, she shuffled her deck again, as shuffling her deck had a calming motion for her and ensured that the cards wouldn't be rigged either for or against her.

"I don't think it will matter Jess," said Lucas as he began to explain his theory. "I reckon they will just reopen it now, I don't know how they did it the first time though I am sure they can do it again just as easy. Once the portal's open again the war will begin again and anyway I think those guys can travel back to there own dimension easily and there are still thousands of them in the city so we are still in bad shape." This is still war no matter what Jess said that couldn't change and it won't stop until one of the Dimension's fall to the other one. "Let's go over there."

"I told you to be worried about my hand." Akarui stated as he showed the card in it "Metal Flipper." Akarui stated as a pinball flipper of pure metal appeared on the field and got in the way of Michael's trap card and flipped it back face-down "It's effect can only be activated when it's the last card in my hand and a trap card is activated. I can negate the trap and it's re-set and can't be activated until the end phase of this turn." Akarui explained as he pointed at Michael's other face-down "Remember, you can't activate a trap the turn it is set, and this attack is only happening by a card effect, it's still your turn!" Akarui yelled as he put antithesis on the word 'your' and Metal Flipper was in defense mode [DEF: 0]. Metal Warrior - Ultimate's sword was now moments from destroying the Crystal Warrior.

As I said earlier, very limited travel between dimensions is one thing, but a full-scale war is another. Besides, it is not your right to invade another Earth just because an event that occurred in your history that made the world worse did not have the same negative effect on another. The only reason you are invading is to take their resources, both natural and human. Currently, this war is starting to have negative effects on the surrounding universes, not to mention yourselves."[/color]
She stopped and drew two lines in the dirt. [color=#0000FF]"Say these are your universes."[/color] She then drew some lines connecting the two together. [color=#0000FF]"And say that these are the portals."[/color] She continued to draw the lines, both the parallel and perpendicular, but the parallel lines started to curve until they collided and became one. [color=#0000FF]"Each time someone travels through the space-time continuum, they create a force that ripples through the space-time continuum and a slight pull on their timeline called a 'quantum tug'. Think of each universe, at a certain point in time, as a ball floating in a pool, with balls surrounding it. We may travel between universes, but we try to keep the number of tugs to a minimum as to not create many ripples. Your portals, however, have been tugging and tugging for a short while on your neighbor, causing your universe and the universe you are connected to to start to converge. In 48 hours, your universes will be past the point of no return, and your universes will violently collide, creating catastrophic effects on the surrounding universes and the multiverse as a whole. No one knows what will happen when they collide, as such an event has never successfully occurred, but it will not be pretty, especially for the universes that are being merged into one. At the very least, we know that the merger will create a space-time vacuum where two universe used to be, yet only one remains, unless your universes somehow cancel each other about. Remember the balls in a pool analogy? Well, you now have a gap for the balls to bounce around in, creating more tugs upsetting more universes. We are not doing this because we support the inhabitants of Earth-CDM-192! We are doing this because we need to save the multiverse from your ignorance and stupidity!"[/color]

"That's lovely and all, but you're just trying to cover up the fact that you're afraid of any competition of power within the universe." Akio looked at the command post and gave a small laugh. "Commander's not here, so I guess you're looking at the commanding officer. Now then, what were my choices again? Oh right, do what you say or get obliterated. Way to be a peace maker...though I assure you a peace keeper would fit your rankings much better. You see, making peace rarely works." Akio had quite a bit of knowledge of past wars, in fact, war was one of the only things he could remember. "Let's say that our universe is a pool." Akio drew a rectangle, "You're claiming to be the pool cleaner, making it nice and tidy. However, that's not the case. You're the demolition crew, stopping it from being able to do anything more then just sit there and look pretty until you're ready to destroy it." With one swipe of Akio's foot, the rectangle was gone.

"You can invade us if you wish, though I must admit that I am a fan of Russian Napoleonic-Era tactics. I'll just get rid of your supplies and block your portals. You'll run around aimlessly until your group starves. I'm sure you need to eat, and if not, there's some way of getting energy that's a necessity." Akio stared at her in the eyes, "You're extremely sincere, and I respect that, enough to tell you what will happen. First and foremost, your tactic is going to fail. You know it, and I know it." Akio refused to keep formalities, so he sat on the ground. One leg was outstretched and on the other his knee was up. "You cna have a seat if you wish, the ground is always comfortable for a soldier." He stared in the sky, "Once your plan to stop us has failed, we'll fight our hardest. Slowly but surely, the tides will be in our favor and we'll rush through them. Still, there will be one person who we can't beat. I don't know his name, but it's something true in almost every war. That person will not only succesfully hold back our attacks, they'll force the inevitable retreat. They'll win, and remove our portals. Within the next 100 or so years we'll be established trade partners, recreating the portals and both of our dimensions will be better than they ever were before."

Akio looked intensely in her eyes, "That's the utopia I'm willing to fight for. That's the idea I'm willing to die for."

Trixie started laughing the moment he brought up Napoleonic-era tactics. [color=#0000FF]"First, let me correct you by showing you our supply chain."[/color] She held out her hand, and a bottle of water appeared in it. She opened the bottle of water and took a swig. [color=#0000FF]"There's the little place called 'subspace', which is where this water bottle and those portal-destroying devices came from. We have an almost infinite amount of any type of supply needed floating in this sub-dimension. It's impossible to disrupt, since, if we ever need anything, it is literally just an arm's reach away. Second, you think the strike teams will be appearing here, in this time. They will be appearing in your past, stopping this war before it ever started. The ripples they will generate will hopefully be enough to offset the damage you have caused. However, we don't really like to travel through time all that much, or executing precision strikes that would alter your history. This is the peaceful option, the reason of which leads to the third reason: we will correct what needs to be corrected, but we are divided over whether we want to or not.[/color]
[color=#0000FF]"You see, we need soldiers and officers and workers and other positions filled, and we now have an entire world, your world, staring us in the face. Your world is one we have had both wet dreams and nightmares about: a world filled with people who have been training for interdimensional warfare. We are willing to save you all from the corrections, since, once we make the corrections, this timeline will collapse and reform into a new continuity, a harmless event that is actually rather common and creates few ripples. If you join the Neighborhood Watch, we will even make some more positive alterations to your timeline, like lessen the damage dealt to your world, maybe even stop the event that pushed you all to this extreme from ever occurring."[/color]

Akio took a slight smile, "You think of everything, don't you? Well, I'd be lieing if I said that joining your community didn't intrigue me..." Akio thought for a few moments, taking everything into consideration. "You're not open for negotiations, I know, but...Look, to be frank, I'm one of the greatest soldiers at this base. I'm colonel by request, and I still have the authority of some of the highest ranking officers. I'll join you, but I want you to do something for me as well. You have the ability to travel through time, yes? I want to see how this war plays out before you do anything to hasty with the timeline. If it's about to collapse, you can always just go back in time and kill me, right? I am your only obstacle, after all. I'm surprised you haven't yet." He looked back at her. "There's something you're not telling me. There's a reason I'm still alive, and I know it's not because you want to make friends." He stood up and patted his knees. "I'll be damned, this was your idea from the start wasn't it?" His smile faded, "You're a bit too clevor for my taste. Still, do what you will. If the commander asks I put up one hell of a fight so you had to bring in a surprise ambush or...something or another. You'll figure it out." He took a moment to put a few pieces of the puzzle together. His eyes widened. "Wait a minute," he said with a small laugh, "I know this was your idea from the beginning because you went to our dimension. You want us as allies, don't you?" He laughed, "That's funny. That's really funny. You have unlimited control over time and space and you didn't just kill the man in charge and replace him with one of your own, all because there's someone from this time frame that you're interested in. Something you need. You did say you both loved and feared our planet, yes? So, it must be the commander."

"Now I because I drew a monster card I can negate the effects of your Metal Flipper so therefore my trap activated Crystal Negation which yet again means that your effect of your card is negated and now monster's attack of course I will have to change one thing though, Crystal Warrior Amber Knight attack Metal Flipper," he screamed as his monster's attacked. Akarui stated as he awaited his turn "I just need to draw the right card on my next turn, one certain Speed Spell." Akarui explained, taunting Michael "Is your turn over?" Akarui asked as he tapped the top card of his deck with quite the smile on his face "Heheheh."

As she approached the four way corner that he had designated, she saw a duel runner and what was undoubtedly a duel board turn the corner. What was wierd was that the duel board being ridden by what looked like a large humanoid cat, which caught Jess' interest easily, as it was something unusual and almost mythological. Preparing to turn the corner from the other side of the four way intersection, she saw a motorbike turn the corner and follow them, spiking her interest even more. Motioning for Lucas to follow, she turned from the other direction to ride after them, wanting to find out whose side they were on and what the humanoid cat was.

James turned the corner at high speed, noticing Jess coming from the other direction as he did, before seeing the familiar duel runner that belonged to Lucas behind it. "That isn't good, Lucas knows that I turned but maybe I could turn him being here into an advantage, and make him think that I escaped from them." deciding to avoid seeing him for now, James accelerated forward to get further away from him and closer to the duel that was starting between Kaiuke and the Lombax behind him.

Kaiuke looked over his shoulder to see Alexander lagging behind as he took the corner.

[i]Did he just slow down on purpose,[/i] he thought.

Regardless, he turned his attention forwards, drawing his first hand as he did so.

[b]"I'll take the first turn then,"[/b] he declared [b]"And I summon Sky Elemental Miar!"[/b]

A strange metallic creature emerged from an orb of light next to Kaiuke, a set of silver wings expanding alongside it as it took flight alongside him.

[i]While I control no other cards, Miar can stop my opponent special summoning more than once per turn,[/i] Kaiuke thought [i]However, I can't leave him unprotected.[/i]

[b]"I set one card face down and end my turn!"[/b] Kaiuke declared, taking a card from his hand and setting it behind his Sky Elemental.

A holographic card appeared beside his D-Wheel and vanished. Kaiuke glanced over at Alexander, waiting for him to make his turn.

"Very well," Alexander called out as he made his first draw of the duel. [i]"He has a monster with 1700 Attack points on the field,"[/i] he thought to himself, [i]"which also has the ability to lock down the number of Special Summons I can conduct. I'll have to get rid of it, while being mindful of his face-down card."[/i] He looked at his hand, pondering which card would help him out the most. Having made his decision, he continued.

"I start by summoning [url="http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/57/11858.jpg"]"Decker the Hypergrinder"[/url] in Attack Position!" he called out as a red-furred, pointy-headed wolf character hopped out of the hologram of his card, landing on the ground with his skateboard. Despite it appearing to be a regular skateboard, Decker was able to keep up with Alexander's speed. "Whenever Decker inflicts damage to your Life Points," Alexander continued, "I can add the top card of my Graveyard to the bottom of my Deck. Of course, seeing as my Graveyard is currently empty, I can't apply that effect this turn. I will, however, place two cards face-down and end my turn." As he said this, two face-down cards briefly appeared behind Decker before fading out.

He gazed at the weird creature on the Duel Board [i]What the hell is that[/i] he thought. He pulled over to see who was dueling. He checked the screen on his Duel Runner and saw that it was James. [i]James is fighting for there dimension[/i] he thought as he drove his Duel Runner up next to James. He gazed over at him and thought of everything he wanted to say to him, and then it all came out, "How could you James? How could you betray everyone from your own home? You are a Soulless Person who is Dead Inside and I want to kill you, you, you..."

Akarui smiled as a shield appeared and ended the battle phase. "Metal Shield 3." Akarui stated as his monsters were defended "I can bring this card from my deck when I control a Metal Warrior, it negates the attack and ends the Battle Phase!" Akarui explained "My draw!" Akarui declared as he drew his card [SPC: 5] "Heheheh. First I return Metal Shield 3 to my hand with its effect." he stated as he placed a card on the field and the shield returned to his hand "I activate the Speed Spell - Metal Draw!" Akarui declared "Now, I can only activate this card when I have four or more Speed Counters, none are taken, and for each 1000 Life Points I have, I can draw one card and I'll draw seven!" Akarui declared as he drew the seven cards "Meet this guy, Speed Spell - Metal Negation!" Akarui declared as a veil seemed to cover his field "As long as I have four or more Speed Counters and control a Metal monster, none of your spell and traps can be activated until the End Phase, now I activate the Speed Spell - Metal Reborn!" Akarui declared as he lost two Speed Counters [SPC: 5 -> 3] "By discarding one card from my hand, I can Special Summon one Metal monster from my Graveyard, I'm sure you remember this guy." Akarui stated as he discarded a card from his hand and a familiar Tuner monster appeared "Meet Metal Synchron." Akarui stated as the old monster returned [LV3 Tuner ATK: 1400] "Now, I sacrifice Metal Flipper and summon second Moon Metal Warrior." [ATK: 0] Akarui declared as a second version of the old monster reappeared "Now I tune them after spending 500 life points to increase Moon Metal Warrior's level by one, I Synchro Summon! Metal Warrior - Supreme!" Akarui declared as a new monster appeared [LV 9 ATK: ? -> Something over 4000] Akarui smiled as the new monster began to melt away and a new fiend appeared "His effect allows me to sacrifice him when he has over 4000 attack points and summon something new, Rekeph, the Ultimate Dark Being!" [ATK: 4000] a monster twice the size of ABCDEF appeared on the field "He can't attack the turn he's summoned, but his effect can! I discard all but one of the cards but one in my hand, and destroy every last one of your monsters, other than your Knight there!" Akarui declared as he discarded four cards and the spear-like things on Rekeph shot down and destroyed all of Michael's monsters but the Amber knight, and he lost 1600 life points "Did I mention you lose 400 Life Points for each card destroyed? I guess not. Now, Metal Superforce Battletech Warrior! Attack his Amber Knight! End this duel with Destructo Laser!" Akarui declared as ABCDEF fired a laser at Amber Knight.

Amber Knight and the rest of Michael's Life Points were wiped out. "Game over." Akarui stated
