Lucas Stone was riding. He had just witnessed the most horrible thing ever. He saw the people who took him in since he was 4 years old and his best friend for 15 years change to the enemy's side. He had just Turbo Dueled 3 duelists at once and beat them. Lucas Accelerated more. He hatted this. Somehow a war had begun. It all started when that bloody portal appeared and now everyone was dieing or swearing oaths. This was horrible. This was war. He accelerated towards the exit of the city. He had to run if he wanted to survive. Then he heard a extreme amount of accelerating in the background that sounded like it came from a duel runner. He stared at his deck and whispered, "I have faith in what you left me, dad."

"Oh boy, its you three again." Akio was sitting behind a table as he looked at three pathetic excuses for soldiers. Each one barely even knew how to duel. Akio could have easily discharged them, and he wanted to, but they needed all of the soldiers they could afford. "What to do, what to do?" He tapped his fingers on the desk as he stared at each one. He sighed. "How about this. We do need soldiers, so why don't you guys go back to the academy? Sharpen up your skills, take a few extra classes on dueling. We need better fighters then you sorry excuses for warriors." Akio leaned back in his desk. There was little protest. After a few moments, he looked back at them, "That'll be all." Finally one stood forward. "What?"

Apparantly the one who stepped forward wanted to duel. "No. It wouldn't be a contest..it'd just be boring. You aren't worth my time." Akio stood up, "Dismissed." The three nodded and left. He sat back down, looking through a few reports on past soldiers while they left. He had a lot of paper work to do for his regiment.

"... I'm hungry."

The lombax named Alexander Abernathy took refuge in an abandoned office building in the city, having narrowly avoiding certain harm after a dimension-hop landed him right in the center of a massive three-on-three Duel between the two warring armies. Two hours after that incident, while sitting at an empty desk and sorting through his binder full of cards, he uttered those exact two words.

"I wonder if there are any abandoned restaurants around here?" asked the lombax mostly to himself, but also to his Duel Spirit partner, Neo-Spacian Umbra Panther.

"You're worried about food now? scoffed the Neo-Spacian, who went by the name of Umbris. He materialized in front of Alex, across from the desk where the lombax sat. "And you're just now realizing this? Last I checked, you didn't exactly have breakfast before you left Duel Academy."

"I know, I know," Alex sighed, "but I wasn't exactly able to think about food after what happened. You'd feel the same way too, right?"

"I suppose," said Umbris. "Going through something like that would make anyone forget about anything else."

Alexander nodded as he closed his binder. "Well, I'd better go find some food, then," he said as he got up from the desk and equipped his DuelDisk to his left arm, knowing that, if any duelists tried to ambush him along the way, he'd have to defend himself.

"Go, Reficul! Maledictive Chaos Wave!" Akatenshi Cackled as he declare his attack. An angel whose wings are black on its right and white on its left, dressing in black clothing, Reficul began to pulsate its aura, emitting orbs from its hands apart. Each orb are light and darkness, then its smash the orbs together, resonating violently as it's trembling the whole field. The opponent, the enemy of the other world, his monster's a Terrorking Archfiend was shattered to dust by the impact of the wave, but it didn't stop at that point, the enemy screamed in pain, bearing his head. It wasn't long till his eyes became unconscious and collapse as the dust gathered. The duel cleared up, the figure of Akatenshi became exposed as what revealed in his surrounding, were piles of unconscious enemies almost to the peak of their deaths but what only held him back was the willpower from Amashuiro.

"More... More.... I'm not satisfied!!" He roared yet it's of subtleness, only it's been showing signs of his killing intents or rather he is maliciously bloodthirsty... He groaned angrily, "There no more enemies?... How disappointing, I will just go searching for mo-" A pain struck his head sharply. He began to writhe in pains, Suddenly his hair which was dark purple reverted to Scarlet red as his pale skin regained colours and his eyes were bloody red dimmed into brown. The pain in his head subside, Akatenshi fell into deep slumber as Amashuiro reawaken. He opened his eyes, he groaned from the pain but in an instant his reaction show terrors as he laid his eyes on several bodies of the enemies but at the most of his strength, he was able to leave the result of them being unconscious but it was too soon to tell if they would be awake again. He gritted his teeth, "D-dammit... how can he do such a thing?..." He clenched his fist as it trembled fiercely, but then it relaxed afterward. Amashuiro knew it was almost unavoidable yet he couldn't help but feel extremely disappointed of his helplessness. "What should i do?..." He asked as he know no response will be answered. "If i get involved in a duel, he will just come out again but at any cost... I must avoid senseless duels..." He stated firmly as he made his resolved but the question is... How long can he avoid duels? As in any case, Amashuiro recomposed himself, then he exhaustedly walk toward his duel runner and sat on it. He turned to the surrounding of enemies' bodies, He bowed to them as may peace be brought to them. He started up the Runner and the rear of it revved violently, then he took off with no destination in goal.

"Finish this duel Black Chaos Sorcerer, Lightning Strike" James watch as Black Chaos Sorcerer, his new key card, finished off another duel with a victory. He watched as his opponent was swollowed through the tempory void in the sky called Dimentional Fissure, before all his cards faded away and vanished for another duel. Turning around, he headed for the larger rent in reality that led to the second dimention, and the command post set up around it, thinking about his motives for joining the army from the 2nd dimention, when he was from the 1st dimention originally.

Jess was riding in towards the town when she saw Lucas driving out. Turning around her duel runner, the Wheel of Fortune, she raced after Lucas to try to catch up and find out what was going on with the portal in the middle of the town. "Lucas, what the hell is going on with this place and what is with that portal in the middle of the town." Jess yelled forward, having a hard time keeping up with the champion of the most recent turbo dueling contest.

Kaiuke watched in horror as his opponent turned partner was hit and sent spinning out of control, crashing through the duel track’s barrier and plummeting to the ground below.

“Damn it,” Kaiuke cursed under his breath.

Somehow, both he and his opponent had been set upon by a mysterious assailant that had come out of nowhere and barged into their duel, quickly summoning a Five Headed Dragon and practically wiping them out in seconds, Kaiuke himself only had 500 life points remaining, only 3 speed counters, 2 face downs, no monsters and 3 cards in his hand.

“Now or never,” he gritted his teeth and drew a card to begin his turn.
He looked at the card he’d drawn and grinned, placing it in his card holder and taking a different card to place on the field.

“I summon Pseudo Elemental!” He declared, a girl with long blue hair, white armour and a set of technological wings emerged to glide alongside him “Due to her effect, she is treated as a Sky Elemental monster. Meaning I can also play this, my trap card Resonant Sky!”

Kaiuke’s trap card flipped up and glowed as a new monster emerged from it.

“Resonant Sky allows me to summon a Sky Elemental monster from my graveyard with the same level as another Sky Elemental I control,” Kaiuke explained “So show yourself Sky Elemental Rimuel!”

A strange monster crafted from bronze emerged to glide alongside Kaiuke and his Pseudo Elemental.

“Now I send both my monsters to the graveyard,” Kaiuke continued “To summon Alcadeias, Lord of the Sky Elementals!”

Both Kaiuke’s monsters vanished into a whirlwind as a humanoid monster wearing blue and gold armour with a pair of pure white wings emerged, gliding alongside Kaiuke’s D-Wheel.

“And finally I play two Speed Spells from my hand,” Kaiuke said “Overboost and Final Attack!”

Kaiuke’s Speed Counters shot up to 8 allowing his Final Attack card to activate, raising Alcadeias’ ATK to 5000.

“Nice try,” Kaiuke’s opponent jeered, pulling up alongside him “But my monster can only be destroyed by LIGHT monsters, and yours is a WIND monster. Sorry but it looks like you goofed up.”

“Hardly,” Kaiuke replied “I play my trap card, Battle Erosion!”

Kaiuke’s card flipped up and glowed, shooting a beam of light at the Five Headed Dragon and causing it to glow softly.

“Now then,” Kaiuke began “Alcadeias, attack Five Headed Dragon! First Impact!”

Kaiuke’s monster shot forwards, a glowing orb forming in the palm of its hand before it was balled into a fist and the monster shot towards the dragon. The Five Headed Dragon countered, firing from all five of its heads at once and intercepting Alcadeias’ attack, the resulting explosion blinding both riders for a split second. Once the smoke cleared, both monsters where still standing.

“Wait, what’s going on?” The mysterious assailant barked “Your monster should’ve been destroyed.”

“For each monster sent to the Graveyard to summon him, Alcadeias can avoid being destroyed by battle once,” Kaiuke explained “Meaning he gets out of this unscathed, which is more than I can say for your dragon.”

“What are you talking abo- ” Kaiuke’s opponent looked down at his duel screen and his jaw dropped upon seeing that his dragon’s ATK had suddenly become 0.

“Battle Erosion allows me to select 1 monster on the field,” Kaiuke explained “And then whenever that monster battles it loses ATK equal to the ATK of the monster is battles with. Our monsters had equal ATK, meaning your dragon loses all of its ATK points.”

“No…No way!”

“And I’m not done there,” Kaiuke continued “Because for each monster sent to the grave to summon him, Alcadeias can attack again!”
Kaiuke’s opponent was stunned into silence at this revelation, looking down at his duel screen once more hardly daring to believe what was happening.

“Go Alcadeias!” Kaiuke ordered “Attack Five Headed Dragon! Second Impact!”

Alcadeias shot forwards once more; the dragon now unable to do anything was hit straight in the chest by the attack and sent crashing into its master, knocking off all of his life points instantly. The D-Wheel signalled its rider’s defeat and he went spinning out of control as the holograms faded. Kaiuke swerved to a halt, hopping off his own D-Wheel and running over to the mysterious rider, grabbing him by the collar.

“Alright, game over,” he said “now tell me what the hell is going on here!”

The rider merely laughed, pressing a button on his helmet. A slight hissing came from within and the man struggled for a second before falling limp. Kaiuke dropped the man, cursing under his breath as he returned to his own D-Wheel. He paused and looked out over the city, what had once been a sparkling metropolis had become a warzone in the span of just a few hours.

“I barely managed to beat this guy,” Kaiuke muttered “I’ll have to be on my guard from now on.”

With that he hopped onto his D-Wheel and sped off, leaving the scene behind him.

Meanwhile, in the 2nd Dimension, a woman was standing next to the portal heading to the first dimension. She had short navy-blue hair, a form-fitting sky-blue outfit, and a red scarf. She seemed to be inspecting the portal. Nearby, some unconscious guards lay strewn about. So far, her presence hadn't been detected.
"Let's see...It looks like this portal connects Earth-CDM-144 with one of its neighbors, Earth-CDM-192. Earth-CDM-192's and Earth-CDM-144's divergence point from the norm seems to be a different outcome of the Kargil War in 1999, resulting in a mostly limited nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan. However, in Earth-CDM-192, a stray missile headed for China, resulting in their involvement in the war by firing back. This never happened in Earth-CDM-144, the missile instead hitting its target. Thanks to the principle of Mutually Assured Destruction, other countries started firing their nuclear arsenals, irradiating the atmosphere and creating a nuclear winter. Some of the remnants of humanity eventually banded together and created this portal with the intent of colonizing their neighbor in order to exploit their natural resources and create a new empire for themselves."

Akio noticed someone by the portal towards the first dimension. He grabbed and pocketed his deck, then walked towards her. Showing formality, he took off his black hat and put it towards his stomach, showing the 'gentleman conduct' that the army apparantly wanted to be enforced. "Excuse me miss, you need special clearance to access these portals. I kindly ask you to step away from the portal, as we're currently waiting on orders to go through it." A moment's pause as he formulated an idea in his head. "Wait a minute...how did you get by that anyways? You didn't...walk through a portal towards it did you?" He wanted to know if this was a friend or a foe. If it turned out to be a foe, he'd probably call in a few lackies to take her out. He didn't want to dirty his hands with an enemy right now. It's very odd for an adult to approach these portals. They know they're dangerous. Akio stared blankly at her, waiting for a response. He was ready for an attack...or so he thought.

"Be careful, Alex."

"I know, Umbris, I can handle a deserted street," said the lombax to his Spirit Partner as he strolled down the street of what once was a thriving city. Garbage was scattered all around, and aside from the occasional rodent here and there, there was no other life on the streets. Alex speculated that this was because everyone was either in hiding... or worse.... "To be honest, though," he continued, feeling uneasy, "I'd rather prefer a street full of people; I can't stand the condition of this place."

Umbris nodded in agreement before something caught his eye: the lop-sided sign of what was once a pizzaria. "Alex, over there," he said to the lombax as he pointed out the restaurant. "Hopefully there's something in there for you to eat."

"Or at least some ingredients to make a meal," Alex replied, a slight smile forming on his face. Out of his numerous hobbies, of which include playing the piano and Duel Monsters, cooking was one of the most useful to him, especially when on a budget. "I never really made a pizza before, though."

"Let's just see if there's anything in there, first," suggested Umbris as they headed inside. "Then we can worry about what to make."

The inside of the restaurant was almost normal; the tables and chairs were still in the condition they were prior to the war's outbreak, if not a little dusty. Still, Alexander found the emptiness to be surreal and depressing. "Let's check the kitchen," he said to Umbris.

"Oh its only you," screamed Lucas back into the distance. Lucky it isn't one of those guys who came out of the portal thought Lucas. The guys which he battled had superpowered cards which he only could just beat. This is the worse, My friends are gone, Everyone I know is dead or on the other side. I hate this, the world isn't meant to be this way he thought. He then thought of what his dad wouls so. He was a great duelist. He always used his flame power for good and to defeat the bad guys like the people who were comming out of the portal. He wished he was still here. "I don't know, it seems that the people who were comming out of the are trying to kill everyone, Jess follow me I am going to leave the city."

The woman turned and smiled. "Oh, hello, there!" She pulled a badge out of thin air that was simply a golden circle that was broken where two lines formed, one going from the center of the circle to the outside at an angle reminiscent of an hour hand at 11-o'-clock, and the other going straight up, like a minute hand marking the hour. "Trixie Trudge, Neighborhood Watch. I'm here to talk about your portal. You see, you've set up a Class 5K semi-permanent interdimensional conduit. Class 5 indicates power on a scale of 1 to 10, though K means it isn't too unstable, just below average, which is H. However, I am worried that it might fluctuate down to a M or a O, at which point it will become dangerous, especially if it dips below the Q-line. You see, your world, Earth-CDM-192, and one of your neighbors, Earth-CDM-144, which this is connected too, are far from the only worlds in the multiverse, and the flux ripples generated by this portal are already causing minor distortions in the space-time continuum on the nearby universes. So, I'm sad to say, but I'm here to shut your little war down. For the greater good of the multiverse, that is."

"Fools!" Torias shouted, while the rest of his group of soldiers looked at him perplexed. "Fools I say! Just charging in!? What are you thinking! We've already lost half of our group, obviously none of you are thinking clearly."

What just happened, was that the battalion that Torias is in, just lost a battle and it ended up getting at least 20 soldiers killed. It was a 2v2, two random soldiers Vs another two random people from the first dimension. The opponents "Monstrous Being" monster somehow dealt 4 times more damage then it was suppose too, with no added card effect, which incinerated the two soldiers, and half of the battalion.

"I don't get it, how does something like that happen?" Torias was confused himself.
"Maybe his duel disk was...Hacked or something?" Said a Soldier.
"That...Really isn't possible." Said Torias.
A few soldiers we're getting exhausted, and being left behind.

They started walking down a street, as what would be expected it was empty. Down to only 10 people now, out of a group of 70, they decided to take a break in an ally-way.

"We are off to a bad start..." Torias said.

There I finally got around to starting. >_>

Kaiuke continued to ride around the city, finding nobody in sight. It baffled him how a place that had been a war-zone less than a few hours ago could fall so quiet so quickly. He pulled up on the roadside, looking at his D-Wheel's computer screen which was currently scanning for any signals from other D-Wheels or active Duel Disks but sighing upon seeing it was still picking none up. He stepped off his duel disk, setting it into 'parking mode' The screen went blank, locking out any users who weren't registered to use it and a steel leg extended from one side to prop it up.

"There has to be somebody around here still," he muttered "Hopefully someone who actually knows what's going on."

He paused, looking across the street at a ruined pizza store with its door slightly ajar. He walked up to it, peering inside catiously.

I'll be in trouble if its any more of those weird duelists that came out of nowhere, he thought On the other hand if someone is in there and it's not one of those guys it'll look suspicious if I sneak around.

He weighed his options for a minute before heaving a sigh and stepping through the door.

"Oi! Anybody here?" He called.

Rummaging through the shelves of ingredients in the kitchen, Alexander jumped upon hearing someone shouting close-by, causing him to accidentally topple over one of the shelves, which in turn bumped into a second shelf, and then a third. The inevitable crash that followed was deafening.

"Aw, what the cuss?!" Alexander blurted under his breath as flour was spread into the air.

"Alex, hide!" Umbris said urgently.

"There's no point now," Alex replied, coughing as he activated his Duel Disk. "Whoever's here would know that I'm in the kitchen. May as well go out and "introduce" myself." Turning around to exit the kitchen, Alex tripped over his feet and landed on top of an open sack of flour. Now covered in a layer of white flour, Alexander pushed through the kitchen door and strolled into the main restaurant area of the pizzaria.

"Who--*cough*--who goes there?" Alexander called out, unable to see clearly with flour in his eyes.

"Sure, I'm coming, not much point staying here if some crazy thing is going on in the centre of town after all. I wonder if this is similar to what happened to the signers in the past or not." Jess finally managed to catch up with Lucas on her Wheel of Fortune, happy that she wasn't the only one who thought something wierd was going on.

James had seen someone walking into the abandoned Pizzaria, and decided to walk over and have a look himself at it and wether the other person was on the invaders side of the side of the people of Neo-Domino city. Walking up, he had a quick look at the duel runner parked on the side of the road to try to find some indication of who the person was, before walking in with his duel disk raised at the ready.

Daniel drove on his duel runner to the tower which controlled the road system in the whole city. He had just beat at least 4 duelist at once with ease. He thought about his old life his life as Daniel living with the royal family. Stop that lifestyle isn't what you want if it was you wouldn't of left he thought. He knew it was true. He was Michael now, Michael Greene leader of the Military of his own dimension. He hopped of his duel runner and walked into the building. On the top floor had the main controls so he went there. "Nobody escapes this city," he whispered as he blocked off all exits. Pleased with himself he went back outside and jumped on his duel runner and drove off.

Lucas drove towards the exit of the city. He saw the gate closing he sped faster as fast as he could. No, no I don't want to be locked in this city to die, I must escape he thought to himself. The gate was rising. He could of made it but he stopped. He knew he didn't want to leave. He made a knew goal now. I must kill them, kill the people who stole the people who raised me and my best friend, I must kill them he thought and then he said, "Jess were staying in the city and fighting them. We will beat them."

Kaiuke's call was followed by a loud crash coming from the kitchen. Kaiuke heaved a sigh, moving further into the building as the kitchen door opened before he could reach it. He froze on the spot upon seeing the creature emerge from it, a strange white, humanoid cat emerging from it, or at least he assumed it was white until he saw that the creature was covered in flour. Kaiuke spent a moment in silence just staring at the creature until he realized that it had spoken to him.

"My name is Kaiuke," he replied, still staring at the creature "I came here looking for survivors but....What in heaven's name are you?"

Before he could get his answer, Kaiuke heard the door open behind him and he looked around to see another figure entering the bulding, this one clearly human with his duel disk raised. Instinctively, Kaiuke reached to the back of his belt for his deck, not knowing if this guy was from this city or another one of the invaders.

Akarui crushed a Duel Disk under his foot, he had left this one alive and allowed him to go without swearing an oath "Return to your dimension, and tell your leader, that Akarui Kage is coming." Akarui told the duelist he had just defeated "These duelists are trash. Worthless trash. I will avenge you, mom, dad." Akarui stated as he looked to the sky. He put on his helmet and boarded his Duel Runner. "I'm going to end this war myself." Akarui stated as he sped off. "(All I've used so far in 20 duels is BDDLSW Metal, if only someone else knew of what else my deck was capable of.)" Akarui thought as he chuckled.

Daniel zoomed through the city. He had heard a report of someone defeating the duelists from our dimension so he thought he should take care of him. He saw a Duel Runner in front of him so he sped up to catch him. Just Remember you're Michael not Daniel he thought. He stared at his Duel Runner. It didn't look like one from the 2nd Dimension though it could of been. "Now that your only way of defense was destroyed, I summon W - Metal Winged Avenger!" [ATK: 1000] "I activate its effect! I Special Summon D - Metal Dragon!" Akarui declared [ATK: 1900] Akarui once again snapped his fingers "Combine." he stated. The two monsters combined "Meet DW - Metal Dragon Avenger." [ATK: 2800] Akarui stated. Akarui started to laugh "You see, this card represents me well. I'm as fierce as a dragon, and I have something to avenge." Akarui explained "Now, I activat both my monsters' effects. By reducing Dragon Avenger's DEF to zero, I increase Drum Bug's ATK by 500." Akarui explained [DW DEF: 1300 -> 0|BD ATK: 2300 -> 2800] "Now I activate Drum Bug's effect, I decrease its defense by 900 and increase its ATK by 900." Akarui explained [DEF: 1800 -> 900|ATK: 2800 -> 3700] "Now! Drum Bug! Attack his Sapphire Pegasus!"

[response? If not....]

[Michael LP: 4000 -> 2300] I end my turn with a face-down." Akarui finished

"I activate Sapphire Pegasuses and move it to my spell and trap card Zone,"My turn, I draw," said Daniel. He stared at his cards. It's to risky to attempt to bring out Rainbow Dragon this turn so just create some defense he thought to himself. "I summon Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth," he said. Four down, Three to go "I set two cards face down and End my turn," said Daniel. He knew this move was risky though it was his only chance to survive another turn. If this didn't work he was history.
