Yu-gi-oh is it really just a game any more?

Recommended Posts

Well I am sorry, but if you were coming to see some cool cards and pics and stuff, you won't see it here. Instead, you will se my point, and I am sure it WILL affect you somehow. "Yugioh is for kids, grow up". I am sure that you at one stage, heard that sort of thing. Well I have. And I am sick of it. It usually comes from so called "gangsta's" and "chavs". Well guess what. It's THEM that has to grow up not you. Their is nothing wrong with playing a game. They probably don't have hobbies or interests and just probably waste their life away. How the heck can Yugioh be a kids game if SO many people play it around the age of 10-40+? "You won't have any friends". There is another favourite. How does that work out? I have TONS of friends who know I play Yugioh. Just because you play a game doesn't mean to say you are atomatically a nerd or someone who has not got friends. "You are a Nerd" That's another favourite. I am NOT a nerd. I mean I am strong, I play Rugby every Saturday and am popular. Sure i'm smart, but I am not a nerd. So tell me what you think and if you agree.

plus the game is far too complex for children to play at an advanced level anyhow

plus anyone who says the game is stupid is obviously mentally challanged

Though it is, and will always be just a game, it is something to spend time on, and its not like we have anything better to do with the time outside of work, school, hanging out with friends, boyfriend, or girlfriend <-- (your preference, not implying all of them), and having time to yourself. Time is just a perception, an interpertation of ideas based on memory taken in a linear progression. It has no significance more than what you make of it, and if you have nothing better to do, or nothing to do, or even something to do, and would rather play yugioh, then go ahead and do it.
