Coffee Black
Oh wow I can barley imagine young kids watching this show. I think I started watching around middle school myself.
WTFauKorean
I've been a fan since the beginning. In fact i've even used some of the episodes as references to school papers on historic theories. its funny, not witty ill say that but definatly laugh out loud humor. as the seasons go by though i feel like they're running out of things to rip on. my favorite character is randy, stans dad. He is hands down the funniest most ridiculous character someone has ever thought of. His ignorance as a father and his steryostypical redneck traits even as a geologist cracks me up everytime. Coffee Black
On the contrary, i'd say south park became wittier and more of a commentary on random things rather then just being immature jokes for 20 minutes as the years went by. Some of the episodes have stayed true to just being silly, but others (like the Margaritaville episode) were really intelligent IMO.

My little sister started watching it! how outragous!! so I guess i was forced to watch it since there was only one tv...so now I watch it everyday...It isn't bad...stupid but i guess that's how it's funny :/
Coffee Black
if I was more or less forced to watch something everyday South Park would be one of my top choices. I just wished Comedy Central tried to rerun all the episodes though. You rarely see the older stuff (like the episodes from the 90's)
Manjoume Thunder
That "1 and a half men" poster in the latest episode made my day. Though, it's pretty much the only funny thing this season. I am disappointed.

Coffee Black
love the enthusiasm Herman lmao I've been listening to the dvd commentaries on youtube a lot recently, and just heard the one for episode 201. It's so awkwardly funny how they were censored not only in the show itself but in the COMMENTARY too. I pray for the day I can see it uncensored
.Brasil
(and easily the most controversial) show on TV for the past 15 years.
Really? South Park isn't controversial in the least. Trey Parker and Matt Stone just like to take the piss out of people's ethnicities, religions etcetera. To call South Park controversial is a big mistake, it doesn't make people talk about the issues within society, rather, it makes people say: "hey, did you see that episode of South Park last night where South Park asks Al-Qaeda for help?" "Yeah, it was funny/horrible" (dependant on the person). I don't have a problem with South Park, in fact I've seen all the latest ones including "Human CentIpad" and "Royal pudding", I find it hilarious. But to call South Park controversial is a gross misconception.
Coffee Black
South Park usually tries to prove a point; it's very easy to say that they just make fun of everything and that they just try to piss off people. That's because the creators take current events and (somewhat) elaborately display their opinions with the use of satire. Some of the things they cover are either funny or stupid to the creators themselves. Of course, that's not the objective of every episode, so maybe stating that south park was easily the most controversial show was incorrect to say. But to claim that South Park isn't controversial at all is also incorrect, at least in my opinion. On a lighter note, I'd like to say that Human CentIpad was f***ing disgusting lmao
Duck_Sauce
South park is great. They can put their personal beliefs in there and still make it funny. My favorite example of that is with Al Gore, saying he's full of crap and he has no friends. It's funny cuz it's true.
sallyliao
but later it progresses to include hippies and blacks (these 3 allways being mention and or dispised by cartman but we could guess that he includes alot other but he never mentions them) Birkenstock shoesYour Best Is Birkenstock?Sandals
