Exploud is unprepared for the sudden retaliation and is hit with 2 of that Dragon Pulses, dodging the 3rd. Exploud is almost too weak to move. He tries to get up, but falls back to the ground. In a desperate attempt he tries to use the last move in his arsenal, Struggle, but is too weak to get up and charge Hydreigon. Exploud lets out a moan an faints.

Deerling, still using Jump Kick, uses Sand Attack as well to kick a minor sandstorm around itself. Now surrounded in sand Deerling uses Camouflage to change its type to Ground. Deerling powers through the Fire Blast, not taking very much damage, and proceeds with its Jump Kick towards Ryukizo.
