I actually got it from a conversation me in my friend had this morning about Ash's Unova team and how it makes no since that none but like two have evolved and how Oshawott took forever to learn Aqua Jet because he was scared to open his eyes. We spent like half hour describing everything that sucks about the anime. I wanted to know how others felt about it

Yes, Speed Boost was an ability, I'll change the combo name to Speed Launch

 

Axew is hit, as he is sent flying, now use Dragon Cannon!

 

I prefer the game, the anime is too childish. When I still watched it, they take at least 30 episodes for a Gym Battle, and the other episodes are all the same. Meeting strangers and get attacked by Team Rocket. Too boring now. Plus, I spent 2 hours a day on my Pokemon Black, so I can breed or train.

@Ryumori: with the Unova series, i and some of my friends are comparing it with season 1, though Ash had more evolvd pokemon in Season 1 than he has atm

i.e the length of the series - it's only been 56 episodes and they are nearly at Gym 5, though Season 1 had 81 episodes

though, i don't think Ash will have fully evolved pokemon by the time he'll reach the Unova league

 

@Toshiro:Rotom uses Thunderbolt to disperse the cannon into 2 separate Dragon Cannons that Rotom dodged, now hide in a nearby Lamp post and use Thunderbolt

@BS: Yeah a lot of people are calling it just a replay of season on in a different league. He, meets two Gym Leaders(technically Iris isn't a Gym Leader yet, but she is in game and its always possible that she is secretly training to be Gym Leader), he catches all three starter through unprecedented means, one of his traveling partners acts like she doesn't like him, the other is superior to him in every way, I can go on, but I don't want my post to be to long. I guess the writers are running out of ideas for the anime.

@Ryumori: iirc Iris is training to be a 'Dragon Master' although Drayden appeared at some point battling Irtis, so i think it'll be Drayden who Ash will challenge for the Legend Badge
