I'd recommend Slakoth, not only as representive of the Hoenn region, but also because it has ENORMOUS Attack when it's a Slaking. Honestly, that + Return = Sweeper. And it being bulky and learning a Healing move makes it an actual tank.

I can stand to watch the original Spongebob, but now it is just terrible. Poof is cute. The movie with Drake Bell in it was HORRID!!! Naming a guy Poof just marks him as being gay when he gets older. Regardless if he is or not.
