@BS: It was quite easy actually. Looking at your team I concluded that you prever widely used high power Pkmn (not including Umbreon). And of the 3 Pkmn who evolve with a Dusk Stone, only Shandelure fits that bill.

Thus I concluded that the Dusk Stone was meant for evolving a Lampent.

Mhh. You have a point there.

 

Oh, did I tell that I've beat Red with a team of lvl 60-25 Pkmn? Honestly I found the battle disapointing. His only strong Pkmn where Charizard and Venasaur. The others I just swept through.

Nope, it was in SS.

 

Though I think I would've lost if my Tyranitar didn't hang on with his Focus Scarf/Band when she was hit by his Pikachu's Folt Tackle. Then Earthquake did it's thing. Blastoise was beaten by some crits by my Electabuzz, Snorlax was taken out by my Tyranitar as it resisted most of his attack while hitting hard with his high Power moves, Lapras also fell to my Electabuzz. His Charezard swept through my team, but I managed to survive with loads of potions and waited for it to kill itself in recoil (it spammed Flare Blitz), Venesaur almost sludge Bombed me to oblivion, but Hypno managed to take it out with LOADS of Psychic's and Hypnosis'.

 

That's how I won from the strongest trainer in any Pkmn Game.

@Lex: seeing as i was talking about the originals, Pikachu was no probs for Feraligatr's Surf, Venusaur went down to Psychic, Espeon went down in 2 turns, Charizard went down straight away, Blastoise went down within 2 turns, though Snorlax was really problematic due t othe fact that i hardly had any physical attacks

 

though with my pokemon selection, i'm starting to be like the Jack Atlas of the pokemon world

@Lex: well the main difference being that in the originals Red's pkmn are 7 levels lower and that he has an Espeon instead of a Lapras

 

although with my selection, i am more like an Ace Trainer (hailing from Johto) with the style of Jack
