Worst anime you've ever seen?

Alright, I'm going to say one on your list, but give a different reason. I just couldn't STAND death note. The entire series was filled up with countless plot device rules after plot device detective work, and half of the deductions wouldn't logically make sense. For instance, there was an episode where Kira decided to put a piece of pencil lead in his door henge. If the led broke in half, he would then go on to instantly make the assumption that security cameras were placed in his room, because obviously his parents/sister would never go into his room ever for any reason at all at any time EVER. It's a lousy assumption.

I just feel like the director over thought the show while he was making it. Of course, I've written before, and I know how hard it is to write a conflict. You know your thoughts, but your characters might not. That's the issue in death note. The writer thought that "Genius" meant that everyone knew everything. Even someone with an IQ of 200 can't read minds.

Near was just rediculous. I love the idea of a child prodigy, but I don't like the idea of a reincarnaion of L. They should have either kept L alive or changed Near so that he didn't behave with the same mannerisms (replace chocolate with toys).

Anyways, that's why I dislike Death Note. hopefully it doesn't get disregarded, and if it does I could probably move onto another anime (like bleach, DBZ, or Gundam).

You know, I honestly don't think people hate Near as much as they hate his character design. I don't know if anybody here knows this, but the design for Mello was what we see as Near and Near's design was suppose to be what we see as Mello (Basically the two characters got their original character design swapped). I don't think people would hate Near as much if he looked like how they original designed him.

As for worst anime I've seen...I guess it'd have to be Gantz simply for the fact that it got the FullMetal treatment.

Mello was ok, but I'm assuming if the character designs were swapped, Near wouldn't have the gang Mello does right?

I think they should have done a lot more with Mello, and I'm sad they didn't.

Well Light was already tipped off by the Ray following him, so he made a logical conclusion that L would then try to continue spy on all those that were followed during the days the FBI arrived to their deaths. I don't think he knew that L had already narrowed it down to just those who Ray had followed. And given how studious Light was I doubt any of his family would go in there without permission. Infact we'd only ever see Sayu go in there (before he'd come up with the pen/false bottom), and even then she knocked.

Mello was supposed to win, but they decided he knew too much and had to bump him off. Near and Mello were supposed to a bit of L in each of them. (Taichi I knew that =D How To Read 13)

Has to be Pokemon really, its gotten very repetative you can literally predict each ep. Ash meets new Pokemon or new trainer, TR try to steal new Pokemon or Pikachu, TR fail. The end. I gave up around episode 210. I like the films still. (Just annoyed that only 1-7, 10 and 13 I can find on Region 2)

Personally I love both Death Note and Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's most likely because I can look at stuff without becoming dubious unless I really start hating it. Yeah, Near could have been a bit more original, but that's the only thing about Death Note. As for Evangelion, as for one I've never seen a main character so simular to me (no, seriously, if I were about to kill a friend all because of dad I'd ragequit living. If you think you can do better than him at the role you're either a god or a narcissist). I watched a whole lot of explanation for EVA, and it made perfect sense. Yes, I repeat, Evangelion made perfect sense. End of my objection against previous, though there's no answer to this as they're all personal opinions.

As for me, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. 99% was filler, and 1% was Professor Cobra badassness.

GX wasn't god aweful to me. Sure, it wasn't the original yugioh, but GX did make it so that more people could play Yugioh (I believe GX was when the 10+ became 4+). Of course, I would like to see a Yugioh series without

"ALL YOUR SOUL ARE BELONG TO US!"

Other then Death Note, I think Bleach has become a bit predictable. I mean, it might be all anime, but it makes no sense to me. If Ichigo is so damn powerful, don't you think that Aizen would have taken the time to experiment with the power of live humans? Unless if he did in a filler, I don't think he took the time too. I just don't think Aizen is very smart for one of the smartest characters of the show.

And yeah, pokemon IS original, but so is star wars. Something something something darkside. Something something something complete.

Inaccurate nowadays. Team Rocket doesn't really go after Ash anymore, they have their own missions somewhere else in the region.

Bleach has become a massive joke, its not even DBZ with swords anymore. DBZ had some relevant plot behind it now its just excuse to beat up baddies. The power-ups are ridiculous and once Ichigo has it... EVERYONE DOES! Seriously, he died hole in the chest and it makes him a god amongst men. It is seriously the war porn of anime and manga, violence for the sake of violence. The series saddens me and filler is so numerious watchers of the anime series only have no idea whats real in the series.

oh and my least favorite series is, Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?.

After watching Draognball Kai, DBZ has become obsolete to me and I don't enjoy it nearly as much as I used to

>implying that Bleach doesn't have the best anime adaptation out of the big 3 by a wide margin

Now if you mean the manga, then I agree.

Worst anime for me overall is Pokemon.

Death in Pokemon is a really obscure thing from the start. Take for instance Darkai in the movie. Well, he died. Or at least disappeared into obligatory shining light. Then, for no explained reason he revived himself afterwards without any help. Chances are it was just for the sole purpose of making a horrible ending just slightly better. But maybe, if it actually has any logic at all, Pokemon are immortal. So you don't have to worry about dying in Pokemon.

Makes no sense. Yeah, I hate that too.

Naruto

If you didn't care about that, then I guess Bakugan was one bad anime. it started okay, but then it got confusing and started to take my attention off and soon it evolved into something incomprehensible, and then I stopped wtaching it and stopped playing the game.

But Pokemon, oh Pokemon, is the worst. First of all, it really isn't funny, the pokemon are kinda...lame, friendliness and easy going everywhere..it's utterly horrible. The logic is even more horrible. The pokemon don't seem to die. The aging is quite a problem. Ash has stayed 10 years old and has gone through 4 regions and is now going through Unova now. The only thing good about the show are the movies, and that's it.
