Premier Alexander Romanov
Another plot point. Why didn't Astral catch all of these Numbers?
IceDorago
No, seriously, why are they subbing these backwards? http://www.anime44.com/yu-gi-oh-zexal-episode-
evilfusion
I dont care, so long as they're being subbed.
Northern Sage
Update on wiki says Rokujuro uses Poker Knights. Strange.
~Tico~
Well, Rokujuro does seem to like them classic cards (DM, DMG, and the like), so him using Poker Knights wouldn't be too outrageous. But this is lolwiki we're talking about, so the only way we'll know is if we actaully watch the episode.
Jord200
Is seems Astral and Kaito were unable to get IV and III's Numbers due to their crests.

~Tico~
DARKPLANT HAS CONFIRMED. How I envy you being able to watch it on your own TV.
IceDorago
Now time to marathon 1-1.5 hours of ZeXal. The entire duel is subbed, so there won't really be any problems there, and then i guess I'll see if any anime sites have the 44 RAW. A return of Poker Knights sounds pretty cool. Was Arcana used? {: EDIT: Wait, Anime Avenue has 41 subbed as well! Yesssssssssss. Make that 1.5 - 2.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
*Sees all episodes are listed as subbed on Animeavenue* YES! *Sees he can't seem to view any videos on animeavenue* Oh what now!?

~Tico~
Didn't realize you used anime44 like me, Clear Vice. But yay for episodes finally being subbed.
evilfusion
Finally, caught up on the subs. IV is hilarious. He's so effective at taunting people.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Watched all the eps now. 41 - Set everything up nicely. 42 - Duel was pretty awesome with Kaito going after everyone, although it was a bit samey with Yuma just doing what he did with Shark. 43 - Freaking epicsauce. Also accidently saw the result of ep 44. I think it's actually pretty cool, that their doing a whole Yoda and apprentice thing which is totally different to previous YGO protagonists. However, not that people here care, but they called Shark Reginald in the dub (I looked him up as I expected a new Numbers user in ep 46 when Yuma faces a Reginald). Seriously, Reginald?! evilfusion
*eye twitch* No they didn't. (Fine, so they evidently did) No wonder he goes by "Shark".
Jord200
If Yuma beats Shark, ( which he probably will ) wouln't Astral take Shark Drake? If they changed Shark's dub name to something so ridiculous, I don't even want to know what kind of horror they give Kaito and Haruto. And Jin, Gauche, Droit, Anna, Tron, III, IV, V, Charlie, and *insert random WDC duelist name here*, if they even get that far.
Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Confused by episode 43 ending where it did though. They must be running through the rescue of Haruto and everything so sharpish in 44 its going to look very unimportant for that story to end halfway through an episode, just so Yuma can off and have an equally speedy duel with Yoda. That doesn't look so good on paper. Why would Yuma duel Reginald*shoots dubbers* again now anyway ina one episode duel? Seems random.
IceDorago
...And that is why I don't watch the dub... Anyway, he probably will duel Ryouga because the Number's influence has been causing a shift back to a darker personality and attitude, and Yuma will want to win so that Astral will take the Number away. (Though I think that Shark will somehow gain the ability to control Shark Drake properly and not be subject to the Number's control.)
~Tico~
I believe his dub name is actually Reginald Kastle. Just so that the initials are the same. (Ryoga Kamishiro and Reginald Kastle)
evilfusion
As of lately, a theme in Zexal seems to be using Dueling as an expression of hate and anger, and using it for revenge, and some cases causing genuine pain to the opponents, which greatly bothers Yuma, as many characters have begun doing this. IV is a complete bastard who essentially tortures his opponents and mocks their pain, using his Numbers. Shark has a vendetta against IV and is also dueling with great hate/seeking vengeance. Kaito is trying to help Haruto, but he's also aggressive in Duels. Syuta was hurting people to collect Numbers. So, I expect Yuma has a rematch with Shark primarily because he wants to remind Shark how dueling is supposed to be. And the previews indicate III's role will also involve the fact he's the least evil of his brothers, and those previews seem likely purely due to how III has been acting or reacting to things Yuma says and does, and he seems to have seen Astral when his crest protected his Numbers. They crammed a LOT into episode 43. At least they actually gave us the conclusion that Kaito/Yuma definitely WON the duel. As for 44, meh...first half was interesting, the rest wasn't. I think 44 is supposed to kind of be an "aftermath" episode. Tron got at least part of Haruto's power, so they probably didnt need him anymore. Odd thing I noticed: Post-duel, Kaito was still in his Photon Change outfit, minus D-Gazer. This has never happened before that I remember. When a duel ends and the AR disappears, his outfit always has reverted to black (episode 13, episode 22) and then he uses Photon Hand. Here, he kept the outfit intact except the D-Gazer. Not that I mind. His outfit is badass.
Brinolovania
It is kinda cheesy...but I like that Yuma remembers that Duel Monsters is just a game. Seems like a veiled joke about the rediculousness of Yugioh's "card game" premise.
Dementuo
I can't really say anything about the episode itself, except that Yuma scared me since he suddenly got happy for no reason, and stayed that way for about the rest of the episode... I <3 the oragn that played in the background, part-way into the episode.
IceDorago
I didn't mind the second half purely because AKJ appeared and Yugi never did that in the anime. The duel was so predictable, though. >Darkplant confirms he uses Poker Knights before I watch ep. >Yuma is at 3800 LP. ->AKJ will be used. >Yuma has full field of monsters, Rokurujo (how badly did I butcher that?) is nearly done but has an S/T. ->Obviously Mirror Force. Then Yuma makes a really bad misplay and you all know the rest. Seriously, if Armored Xyz doesn't reappear in 46 against Shark, I call bull. evilfusion
Armored Xyz absolutely needs to return. There's something just WRONG about Yuma controlling 4/5 monsters, at least 3 being Level 4. SHOCK RULER, YOU WORTHLESS MAIN CHARACTER! Screw it if you dont wanna use Numbers, just do it!
IceDorago
Holy crap I totally forgot that he had that because of his Hope spamming. Now that I think about it, he could have dropped Shock Ruler and Leviathan at the same time and nulled the Trap. =/ Yuma's incompetence really bugs me. ZeXal really went about it wrong. Yuma's been playing since around kindergarten iirc, which means he's had ~8 years of playing under his belt (He is 13, right? Wow, I care about him so much.) While he doesn't have to stack like his three predecessors and be "great" at the game, he should at least be decent. The way Vanguard did it was good, imo. Main character has an excuse for not being good at the start due to being a new player, then gains experience and becomes better, but not the best. Yuma's stupidity was funny for a while, but in 43 he didn't seem to know the difference between an attack and effect. =/
