Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal Sub/Manga Official Discussion Thread

Duel seems pretty good so far. It was nice to have an episode where it was pretty easy to understand (the previous two episodes, while not exceedingly hard to follow, were still heavy story, which makes it much more difficult than looking at a duel.)

And of course Kaito loses all stability when he sees Haruto being tortured. Yuma's most likely going to do something to save Galaxy-Eyes, though. Either that or protect Kaito after he becomes exposed after taking the hit.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Armored Xyz will be making a return at some point in the duel, even if it doesn't play a major role like last time?

It was just nearly confirmed Gauche and Droite are I. -.-

Either Kaito or Tron is probably II, and the other one could be VI. I doubt Haruto will ever duel or work as a Number Hunter, but it could happen a lot later in the plot.

Yeah it's good and all that you can watch this stuff immediately, but some of us are (still) waiting for subs.

Is Jet a Numbers Hunter or what? Still, I'm glad they're gonna introduce loads more Numbers, one from V and three from Jet. I'm also glad that we'll finally see V dueling, and we won't see Yuma dueling for a while. Also, in the duel he DOES duel Leviathan Dragon finally gets its Chaos form. Yeah, we were all sort of predicting that Leviathan had the largest chance of this. Yamikawa and Fuya, both one-shot former Number Holders, are reappearing. I'm glad the writers aren't leaving them forgotten, but isn't this a bit much? Still, everything's all cool and I appreciate their kindness for their characters.

And anyway, more mysterious duelists? This time it's a masked one, Daku (which I guess is the romanized version of Dark). Wonder how he comes into all this?

Kaito seems to rank higher than Droite or Gauche, but since I have not seen the most recent episodes, I can't really say for sure.
Kaito seems to command a peculiarly high amount of respect, considering most of the people referring to him with the honorific "-sama" are older.

Gauche used "Kaito-sama" when addressing Kaito in episode 26, and Jin was absolutely fanatical about Kaito. I mean, he built a statue of Kaito, hunted Numbers, claiming to be doing it for Kaito as his servant, outright told Kaito that he was practically a god to him and wants nothing more than to serve and/or worship him. Orbital 7's use of "Kaito-sama" probably doesn't count that much, since he's blatantly subservient.

Astral acknowledged Kaito's a magnificent duelist. But all in all, Kaito seems to be fairly young, probably around 16. It's strange.

I have a few predictions.

IV will use an entirely different deck after/if he loses Giant Killer.
V's Number will either be 41, 54, or 45.
Either IV or III will summon a second Number against Yuma and Kaito.
Anna will return soon.
We will get a new opening once the WDC finals begin.
In the manga, Princess Colo-chan ( Yuma's opponent after Thunder Spark, will have at least 2 Numbers ).

or V's Number will be 44, seeing his name means 4 and it would be the 4th Number the Tron family uses
V means 5, not 4.
IV means 4.
III means 3.

But V's name is (evidently) pronounced like the letter V, rather than how III and IV have their names pronounced like 3 and 4.
