evilfusion
Just for the Record even if the Veggie Match rule was not applicable Yuma would have still lost Duel by turn 2
Probably. It makes me wonder whether Veggie Guy actually cared much about winning. He seemed positively thrilled that Yuma finally ate a veggie, and it was only after Yuma refused the secnd time that he went all out.
~British Soul~
And why did Yuma accept to a Vegetable Death Match?
iirc the guy made the rule up, and also iirc, Yuma challenged the guy because the Veggie Guy wanted Tori to join him in creating a theme-park modeled after tomatoes, known as Tomato Paradise and wanted Tori to be the image girl for the theme park. This angered Yuma, who challenged Hosaku to defend Tori from such a role.

evilfusion
I saw it, I just didn't care. There are probably a lot of duels that could be settled much sooner than they were. IceDorago
No, 1. That was an outline of what should have happened given the circumstances, not what happened. 2. He still had 3 Heart Pieces before starting the Death Match iirc, so even if he lost he'd still be in.

He holds Number 7: Lucky Stripe. The preview on Wiki strongly implies Yuma loses (makes a comment about them witnessing the One Turn Kill strategy due to Number 7's luck). And the RL version of Number 7 actually makes this possible by anime rules. I already speculated on the visual preview at the end of episode 30 suggests Number 61 will be crucial either in episode 31 and/or 32.

This would have him with 1600 left if everything else stays as you wrote it. Then Gagaga Magician + Monster Slot for Gagaga Girl for a faster Level 3 Xyz. Also, some Kuribolt swarm combo (whose's details I haven't learned yet) would fit as soon as I can figure out how would Yuma do it without letting another turn pass. . . . . . yeah, the game could have had lots more action. though I agree with Evilfusion. The guy seemed to only care for veggetables rather than the tournament.
