Am I the only one who thinks Number 100 could be a Rank 10, simply because we haven't had any Rank 10 Numbers yet? I know it probably will be Rank 4 or 8, but you never know. Also, according the manga, Kyoji will be using a new Number next month, and if my theory of the pattern involving his Numbers are correct, it will be Number 35. It will probably be a Rank 8, if you follow the existing pattern of his Numbers being one Rank higher than the last one he used.

For some stupid reason, I cannot unsee a mini Zygarde on that guy's head.

So Don Thousand does have Numbers 1-4...and they're completely different from last time. And they're all Rank 1 "Numeron" monsters apparently. They're also significantly less creative to the point of obnoxiously stupid, so I really hope they get released as their first appearance.

Huh, so C101 really does have an effect to revive No.101.

As far as preview for next episode...WTF? Chaos Number 1000? It's like a bad joke. And oddly, it seems like Yuma uses progressively evolving forms of Zexal in the same Duel. He has C39-Victory out, and seems to be in Zexal I form, then a few seconds of video later, is in Zexal II form.

Considering C1 exists, don't get your hopes up.

The last thing we need with the Numbers is for 4 of them to all have essentially the same effect and equally difficult Summoning Conditions while pretty much needing each other to be any good. We already have No.13 and 31 in that role, and while they were reworked into something moderately useful, we just don't need 4 nearly identical Numbers.

It strikes me how all the REAL Number 1-4 monsters are actually Numeron monsters that look completely generic. I was expecting more of a line of random aspects of the Numerons but instead I get some Transformers, Gatekeepers in disguise thing with a very hard summoning condition unlike Abel/Cain's Dooms. And it gets kinda stupid how Don Thousand aside from using his field to intimidate his opponents using a counter strategy, he uses ridiculously flashy stuff like 50,000 ATK and Number 1000 (which is obviously fake). I mean, you have reduced your opponent's LP a great amount so what's the point of 50k frigging ATK instead of like running over BLS all day?

Things like that are traditionally an indication of power. Overwhelming ATK is a common theme of some of the most powerful opponents or cards.

Well in an anime where topping your opponent's ATK and burning huge damage is more important than field removal by destruction/banishing/bouncing, for me it guess a bit annoying each time and we could see Don Thousand's true power in 1000 at least.

Regarding the Numbers though, I'm gonna be optimistic about them; if Konami can rework Cain and Abel into something reasonable, they can do the same with these guys.

i agree. Heck, maybe they will give the real 1-4 the effects of the Fake 1-4. It would be a start.

To me, 1-4 is extra annoying because while they did at least answer my previous concern about the fakes (whether ANYONE had the real ones), they became uncreative monsters with identical effects to each other, more or less.

Now that I think of it, though, Numbers 1-4 matched their users almost TOO well. No.3 negated effects and gained 500 DEF. Semimaru seemed content to wait around before pursuing Yuma. No.4 was a jellyfish that killed WATER monsters and burned. Kurage was not only jellyfish-like, but very obsessed with seniority = power, which he attributed to a jellyfish's long lifespan, and his own preference of a WATER Deck. No. 2 was miniscule in size with an effect that allowed manipulation of attacks, and Kaninja hated big monsters. No.1 was a Fly (we all saw this coming) and had very good effects fitting of a "leader".

Odds are, the 4 Fake Numbers were blank cards. When they were given to the Barian assassins, they took the forms they wanted.

If the real Numbers 1 - 4 were shaped by Don Thousand, I guess (story-wise) we can blame Don Thousand's lack of imagination/creativity/whatever for giving us 4 Numbers with hard Summoning Conditions and identical effects that need to be mashed together to do something useful.
