Yes and no.

Don Thousand is a chaotic being that was cast out of the Astral World, creating the Barian World. The world expanded when souls entered the Barian World, noted when Nasch's army was sent there. Don Thousand at some point found 7 souls closely bound to the 7 Numbers that seal his power, and corrupted them, making it so they would become Barians (Astral noted that the ruin legends indicated those souls should have gone to the Astral World, not the Barian World), and serve as his food source to regain his power.

The Barian lords are deceived by their own memories. None of them died the way they thought they did, or in the circumstances they did. Don Thousand essentially ruined their lives and/or had them killed all for his own motives. This is why the Barian lords get pissed when they regain their memories. They've been directly serving the motives of a malevolent being who sees them as pawns he's simply going to sacrifice the moment they lose their value.

I hate this show now.

It made a really cool concept then made it pointless to have any fan-made Barians, since they would just be manipulated.

They screwed over their own fandom.

Only the 7 Barian Emperors were being manipulated to that degree. And they were the ones specifically given the Over-Hundred Numbers by Don Thousand to repress their memories.

There'd be no reason not to be able to have fan-made Barians, but if you give them an Over-Hundred Number, it implies that Don Thousand is indeed manipulating them.

Again, Don Thousand chose those souls SPECIFICALLY because they were associated with the 7 Legendary Numbers making up his seal, and he gave them the Over-Hundred Numbers so they would not remember that he manipulated their lives/deaths, plus fill their heart with hatred and malice.

The only odd one out is Vector at the moment (although Nasch/Merag might have gotten hit first somehow, since Masquerade is No.104). Vector wasn't crazy/evil until he received his Over-Hundred Number, and he continued through life for probably numerous years, whereas Mizael, Gilag, and Alito received their Over-Hundreds not long before their death.

Well, there goes my plans for my Barian OC.
Though maybe Don Thousand let Vector stay longer was to fester his insanity.

...Which appears to have backfired in his face.

Huh. Gotta say, I thought he would look more outright evil. i mean, he still looks MENACING, but in a not so scary way. His old design was balls to the wall evil, this reminds me more of Eliphas and Dark Signer Godwin.

I'm hoping I'm wrong.

I didn't really like Vector's design when he transformed because I felt both his original design and Don Thousand's designs were better, rather than merging the two. I don't really that design (IF it's Don Thousand) because it doesn't have the same "demon lord" feel that shadowy Don Thousand and revealed Don Thousand does. And all flashbacks and appearances have thus far maintained Don Thousand's demonic shape.

I saw the pic and thought Don Thousand too.

Or something close to Aporia. xD

Aporia. THAT'S what it was also reminding me of.

Then again, Aporia was freaking awesome. Though Aporia was a much more nuanced character than Don Thousand is. Don Thousand's characterization extends to "evil and clever," and that's about it.

Well Dailymotion got stupid for me so I only got up to when Nasch was about to CXyz Abyss-splash. Can someone fill me on the details that happened after that duel?

Looking at the wiki synopsis for the next episode, apparently they may be false after all since Vector lost this episode, the synopsis for the next episode claims the duel between Vector and Nasch kept going. There's also the part about how Mizael appears but there's not clue about what happened to him or what the descriptions say about him per upcoming episode. And I do feel trying to absorb Yuma would be pointless off the bat since Nasch and Mizael are still on the loose and are coming after him for revenge. Based on what I think will truly happen is that Mizael catches up to Yuma's group and then may either tag duel against Don Thousand while Don Thousand reveals his true plans.

Once again through this episode, Vector plays some dirty and tricky cards but at the same time seem a little sketchy, especially with C5's effect to render his banished cards useless, even though C5 has a counteroffensive when returning the used Materials. And it's awfully strange how we never say the 5th number. Is it really another fake number?

But that Quick Play RUM Nasch had....goddamn.

Wait, where did it say he was originally from the Astral World?

Don Thousand himself said it at one point. I think Eliphas mentioned it, but don't fully remember.

Specifically, Don Thousand and his chaos power was exiled from the Astral World when the Astral World rejected chaos. Chaos power formed its own world as the Barian World.

When Don Thousand was possessing Alito and spoke to Yuma/Astral, he acknowledged that the rejection of his chaos was a good thing, as chaos was too confined within the Astral World.
