5) Shark is the first rival to defeat the protagonist in a rematch without cheating. In fact, he even had a "disadvantage" by letting Yuma use Numbers.
Manjoume beat Judai in the finals (before getting his ass kicked by the Kaiser). He even willingly left his best card (LADD) out of his deck during the first duel.

Shark might be badass but Manjoume is the master of all badasses.

It's great that the card game feels like something the kids do in this series rather than the card game being the center of everyone's life and solving the world's problems like in 5D's.

The highlight of this series is that it teaches the viewer gameplay mechanics which is the smartest thing ever done in Yugioh since The Chazz.

There should be a 2012 Yugioh movie where Shark and Chazz team-up and destroy reality with Ojama King and Black Ray Lancer while Kaiba and [s]Kaiba-lite[/s] Jack admit that Chazz and Shark are superior to him in every way. It can be called "Chazz It Up Through Time Guest-Starring Shark."

I'm probably the only one interested in this.

BTW, just saw the Cat-chan episode. IMO, decent

Actually, Black Ray Lancer would have screwed Leviath over as well, so it doesn't matter.
Astral pointed out that if Yuma used Reborn on Shark's monster and used Gagaga for level 3, Shark wouldn't have had Frilled to remove, meaning he couldn't negate the attack and couldn't use his Trap to SS Big Jaws, so...

And yes, negating Leviath's effect would lose the ATK boost, but the point is that Astral noted that going for Leviath would have messed up Shark's combo.

We never did see that last card in Shark's hand. It could have been anything.

In any case, just sayin' that Revise wasn't necessarily the safe option.

it's look like we got a new subber or so that taken up interest on Zexal because the episode 10 was out like few days ago and already subbed today before 3 days later the new episode come out then :)

i believe the fact of using Revised Dragon instead of Hope was that even if it's ATK become 2000, he can detach another to get it up to 2500 again on his turn but it wouldn't make a difference when black lancer is used on shark's turn of course.

I know. But Astral explicitly said going for No. 17 would have been wiser in that situation. Retrospect is 20/20, of course.

And this was stated before Black Ray Lancer was Summoned.

It established the Kotori/Cathy/Yuma Type 4 love triangle.

Also, Cathy's apparently gonna be part of the main cast, so...
It's actually Type 3, because Yuma is oblivious to both girls' feelings.

I'm looking forward to watching Kotori dueling.

It's nice to that Yuma lost to Shark, and yet the next episode will be a tag duel. I still think Yuma is an obnoxious moron though.

Is it just me, or episodes seem to be a bit rushed in plot?
Well, to be honest. ZeXal doesn't really have a plot, othen than getting the 99 Number cards for Astrals memory

I think the plot is just starting now really, with Soul Hunter
