That almost beats Vector for mugshot of the series:

Which is impressive.

I do actually like what they are doing with the plot currently. I think I like that they are putting the Shark Plot-line on hold to wrap up the Heartland story line.

Also it's like the first mention of Hart for ages.

Hey everyone! Its the Yugioh Zexal Drinking Game!

Take a shot every time Kaito yells "HAAAARRRRUTOOOOO!"

Take a sip every time Yuma uses Number 39.

Take a sip every time Kotori says "Yuma...."

Take a shot every time someone pulls a crazy face. Take a sip if it was Vector.

Take a drink every time Kotori gets kidnapped.

Take a sip every time IV says "Fanservice!"

Take a sip every time someone gets brainwashed or possessed.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...you're trying to murder us under the guise of a "game", aren't you?

Like they said about the Crab Helmet drinking game, back in the old days, "You better be taking less than what it lists, otherwise your liver won't last long!"

All jokes aside, no, I'm not. Perhaps I should have said "every other time".....

Episode was alright, and I liked the atmosphere, especially with Shadow Games actually being a thing here.  The whole Merag reincarnation and Vector death kinda bugs me though.  It's interesting that they go to the Barian World that way, but after recalling what happened with Durbe when he died (he flew into the sky on his pegasus), it actually makes sense.

Nasch/Shark had the Barian Emblem in the flashback, but Durbe didn't. Could it be that Nasch is the oldest Barian, even before all that happened to the others?

So we know what the history between Ryoga and Rio. However, it really doesn't seem like she is a Barian.

Also, a return to the water ruins, this time in the past…

Wait, this duel method… Isn't this reminiscent Kaiba's original Duel Disk?

Hey wait a sec:

Rank Wall apparently can only be activated if an Xyz monster attacks another Xyz monster, and Yuma was attacking directly. Also, Hope Ray Victory has the Ancient Gear clause, which meant that Eliphas couldn't activate that card in the first place.

Conclusion: Eliphas is a cheating cheater.

Or the translation was wrong.

Nasch has the Barian emblem because he's the king of that country. It also marked Nasch as the leader of the Barians presumably when he became reincarnated as a Barian. Durbe was a close friend of Nasch, and probably second-in-command at best. Notably, Nasch has Number 101 and Durbe has Number 102.

Merag has 103, naturally, which makes sense considering her apparent relationship to Nasch. Vector has 104, which... I suppose makes sense, considering he at least relates to the other three above him? Alit, Gilag, and Misael are all just sort of... There, too.

Yuma used a spell that allowed Hope Ray Victory to attack directly.

Hey, first time posting, though I've perused this thread many a time, since it's a pretty decent way of knowing when the RAWs are up :)

Anyway, very interesting episode. I especially loved the Nasch/Vector duel, although the whole Rio thing makes me wish the subs were out. Although, question: Didn't Durbe's past self die in a different way than he did in this episode? I was fairly sure he died fighting those guys who were brought up in the Yuma vs Mach episodes.

Also, RANK 13. THE HELL.
