[/quote] I always said I knew Soul Hunter would be significant because he's the only non-protagonist to be seen more than once in the opening. Even Shark is only seen once. Phantom Roxas Posted June 9, 2011 Report Share Posted June 9, 2011 After marathoning the infinitely superior [i][C] - The Money of Soul and Possibility Control[/i], I'm now catching up on this. Just finished episode 6 (Shapesnatch cameo made me lol), and I don't like how it seems every duel will be a two-part duel, unless the last few episodes have shown otherwise. My friends and I have sworn to enjoy the show for what it is, but we all hate Yuma for being an obnoxious moron, though he wasn't so annoying in episode 6. So far, my favorite characters are Kotori (Who is cute and is basically the Annabeth of the series) and Astral (Who is badass). Tetsuo is meh, and while Ryoga is obviously a total jerk who will have a Heel Face Turn later, he lacks the potential for memetic badassery that JACK ATLUS had, but that will probably change. So, I'm enjoying the series, but my only problem is Yuma and the constant two-parters. Hopefully Kotori actually decides to pick up dueling, there are more single-episode duels, and Yuma actually grows up. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Proof: Shark has Fish, but they have been a type for years. Professor Ukyo uses computer viruses. [s]Tokunosuke Omoteura[/s] Weevil Clonderwood has a deck full of...animal skeletons? Fuya has a deck...based on his own TV show? And Cathy uses [s]X-Sabers[/s]...a cat deck?!? I mean, honestly, there are tons of cards these kids could be using instead. For instance, there are plenty of Beast and Beast-Warrior cards out there, like Akz the Pumer, Enraged Battle Ox, Manticore of Darkness, and others, that have yet to see an anime debut. At least Andore had some pro cards, like Green Baboon. Also, it scares me that, in the future, a GRADE-SCHOOL PROFESSOR is able to hack into the MAINFRAME CONTROLLING THE OPERATIONS OF AN ENTIRE CITY!!! They (or at least 4Kids) was really against 5Ds being posted near the end of its run, despite it being popular, and now they're cracking down so foreign viewers can't enjoy Zexal. The Yuma/Kotori ship tease was light, which is good, and I like how Astral is the guy who notices that Yuma doesn't understand girl's feelings. Still, unless Cathy ends up being important later, this was definitely filler. Shame that Ukyo doesn't do much and Fuya hasn't shown up again. Maybe later, I guess.
