evilfusion
I didn't follow that last bit. Dueling is ALWAYS the method of fighting. To be fair, there's subtle justification that Numbers need to be won in a Duel. So if Number 96 (who is a Number himself, although infused with Barian power) wants to get the Numbers, he'd have to Duel. Also, the Emperor's Key has demonstrated that it can repel Number 96 (episode 20) from physically attacking characters/possessing Astral. So yeah, Number 96 may be developing a god complex, but he really can't do much to Yuma and co directly until he's won the Duel. As as a 'god', he's powerful enough to defeat them in a Duel. tazeel3
Don't say me that he can unleash any sort of disaster on the earth but he can't kill a boy. Now Number C96 is a Barian Number, so the Key for him is like a door of rotten wood. And if he can't touch Yuma because he had the Empereor's Kay, means that he isn't a god, because a god can make what he want. With the four True Chaos Gods (Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, Slaanesh) Yuma didn't rexisted for a moment!

Merci
Don't say me that he can unleash any sort of disaster on the earth but he can't kill a boy. Now Number C96 is a Barian Number, so the Key for him is like a door of rotten wood. And if he can't touch Yuma because he had the Empereor's Kay, means that he isn't a god, because a god can make what he want. With the four True Chaos Gods (Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, Slaanesh) Yuma didn't rexisted for a moment! I... I'm sorry, what?
Do you not understand what it means when a villain figuratively declares themselves a 'god' after gaining tons of power? When a villain obtains lots of power, like for example they equip an armor that runs on autonomous nuclear fission, they tend to declare themselves a 'god' since they hold amazing powers. But just because they equipped a super-powerful armor doesn't instantaneously make them a god, or creator, and someone like Zeus or...Khorne could just float down from the skies and take this god out. English, man, English. And even with that aside, do you not understand that not every god possess the exact same abilities, and that the True Chaos Gods are NOT the only gods in your precious anime. Did it even occur to you that they might not exist here? Just like the Crimson Dragon and the Egyptian Gods don't exist in series that aren't Yu-Gi-Oh, these Chaos God things don't exist here. Not every god possesses the exact same reality-warping powers and abilities, and the term 'god' itself isn't specific. You're biased to think that every god is the same. Some might just be very powerful, but who knows? They might not be powerful enough to lift mountains. In fact, maybe they're aliens, just like the Asgardians from the Thor movie (and the comics). Maybe they engineered human life. That doesn't automatically make them capable of actual god-like feats. Let's pretend these Chaos Gods exist in this universe. Let's pretend Number C96 has actually *gasps* become a god. Let me ask you a question, when has the full extent of the Emperor Key's abilities ever been gauged? Never? Never. Besides, how do you know that the Key can't battle gods? There are plenty of godslaying weapons out there in fiction, and I'm sure you must've played God of War before. For all we know, the Key is like titanium to these True Chaos Gods, not rotten wood. There's no proof to the contrary, is there? Because the Key's abilities are not fully known, we are unable to understand its full capabilities. As far as we know, it possesses similar powers to the Millennium Puzzle, wherein it manipulates reality to help Yuma get through every time. Has Astral ever said "this key cannot manipulate reality"? No. Has anyone ever said "this key cannot defend against gods?" No. Stop assuming. Stop making things up. Use facts that have been displayed in this series, not the fiction that exists in your head alone. If it's speculation, that's cool and all, but speculation is not fact unless it's shown otherwise. "A god can make what he want"? What sort of world do you live in, Tazeel? A world where all animations, all videogames, all novels, all manga, and all movies take place in the same universe? In some anime, people can breathe in space, but in others, they can't. That's just one example of how different each series can be from each other. If that's too difficult to imagine, let me put it another way: think of gods like magical girls. One magical girl is an alien from outer space, whose abilities come naturally to her, since she's, well, an alien. Her powers involve transformations and laser beams. Action. One magical girl is a magician-in-training. She's a special human who's being trained by a master magician so she can control her powers. Her powers involve magical tricks, like taking a bunny out of a hat and stealing men's underwear without them noticing. Comedy. One magical girl is a normal girl who made a contract with a cute magical animal. Because of this, she now has the power to turn into a dancing duck and synchronize with people's hearts. Drama. As you can see, they are all very different, the only similarities being that they're all called 'magical girls'. The same logic can be applied to gods. Maybe you were joking about the True Chaos God thing. That's fine. That's completely fine. But then you have a biased view on the definition of 'god' and really, you should read a dictionary about this. From the moment you first entered this thread, you've been jumping to conclusion after conclusion without any proof. If you're ever going to make such outlandish claims, at least point out some proof. An episode. Any episode. Any scene. Like, for example, "in Episode XXX, Number 96 broke into the Emperor Key with no effort so its strange that Number C96 cant do the same". That way, it's a more legit statement. Then we can go back to that episode and see if you're right of wrong. If you're right, I'll say "oh yeah, that is weird lol. It must be a plothole and the writers were just lazy". If you're wrong, I'll say "nooo, remember at the beginning, Astral left the backdoor to the Emperor Key open? Thats why". Understand? Do - you - understand? Read this, from beginning to end. Read it. Don't ignore it. Put in the effort to read it, and understand it. Alright, Tazeel?
Please, stop jumping to conclusions. Please. Just, please. I tried my best to make this simple while expressing my anger passively, and in all seriousness, you're stressing me out.
Aerion Brightflame
Can we not bring Warhammer Mythology into this. It's kinda not suitable for the anime of a childrens card game, given it's a Blood God, and god of diseases, One of magic and manipulation, and one of excesses. Also even that example was bad, because the Chaos Gods can't actually do whatever they want. They are immaterial, and can only act through other beings just to say. Anyhow, something actually relivant. What Numbers, if any do people think Dark Mist will use tomorrow? My money is either on nothing, or probably Big Eye, and Leviathan. Those two because they are relevant to the level 69 and 92 were. Leviathan being the first Number in the series, and Big Eye being what helped to create C39, which was a very relevant thing. heraldry_lord
Hi Most useful post there ever was... Dark Storm has 2 materials left, and he has 2 monster zones left, which do strongly hint at 96 bringing out 2 more Chaos Numbers. 17 would be expected, but while it's highly unlikely, I'd like to see him try 6 and 88 (the other two Arclight Numbers they nerfed hard). tazeel3
Number C88. Chaos form, one overlaing units... and Astral became food for flower. (Kind mode to say dead)
Dementuo
I doubt any of the Arclight numbers will be used, considering that 6 has already been put to use before, 33, 15, and 9 are most likely going to be used by Micheal, Thomas, and Chris respectively, and it'd pretty much be impossible to improve on a win-condition effect like 88 (Not to mention it'd be an awful writing choice). ~British Soul~
I'd like to see him try 6... That's not gonna happen. It's confirmed that Yuma will use it in his tag duel with III.
Jord200
The way I see it, should Black Mist take two more Numbers, the most likely options are 17, 8, 53, 10, and 20. MAYBE 11. Possibly two of Yuma's three Legendary Numbers. Probably 64 and 54. In otherwords, there are too many possibilties to make a decent guess. We'll find out tomorrow. tazeel3
The worst thing for me is that Konamy had killed Astral only because without their Numbers, the Tron's family have useless deck. But i wanted to know how the reach to steal Yuma's Numbers! Because obiviusly, V will use his Dyson Sphere, is written in the episode name! P.S: Don Thousand said that Vector had killed Nasch and Merag. So Shark and Rio aren't Barians without memory, but two humans in their re-reincarnation. tazeel3
A moment! If humans deading beacome aliens and aliens became humans, so Astral when dead had become a human! so they only need to wait 11-13 years and Astral (if they found him) will be active again! heraldry_lord
Someone translated Yuma's dialogue with Astral at the beginning of the episode:
Yuma: いや~ わりい わりい。 (Sheesh, whatta pain~) Yuma: 遅れちまって。 (Sorry fer bein' late.) Astral: また 補習か?(Did you have supplementary lessons today, too?) Yuma: ち ちげえよ! 右京先生がどうしても わからねえところを教えてくれるっていうから…。 (H-heck no! It's just that Mr. Ukyo JUST finished what he had to teach us today...) Astral: それを補習というんだ。(A.k.a. You had supplementary lessons, again.) Both: デュエル!(Duel!) Astral: 遊馬。(Yuma.) Yuma: えっ?(Eh?) Astral: キミに会えて ホントによかった。 (I can't express how happy I am that I met you.) Yuma: な なんだよ いきなり。 そんなホントのこと言われちまったら…。 (W-what brought that on? Sayin' somethin' like that...) Astral: 遊馬 ナンバーズを頼んだぞ。(Yuma, the Numbers asked me to tell you.) Yuma: アストラル…。(Astral...) Astral: ありがとう。(Thank you, Yuma.)
Guess Yuma has some fans in the Numbers now, and that means he may be able to control them without Astral now.
