So if it was C69, (Or just regular 69 given how it can change form) why would Yuma presumably go for it? Dark ZeXal seems possible.

Given that the trailer also has him supposedly using Victory.

That's why I think its 66 or a new Number.... Or a random card. Coat of Arms is

A. Evil/crazy/untable

B. A card that can only be summoned with extreme ammounts of hate. While they could have that towards Black Mist, I personally would it be more likely if it was Vector or someone.

Black Mist has Barian's Force. He can hunt Numbers, and I doubt he's just been sitting around since we last saw him.

No, because the wikia said that they make zexal in 111. For me is C96 that use his effect on Hope.

The previews don't cover everything. The preview for the one with Heart-eartH didn't mention the dragon would appear in that one. Dark Mist's first one didn't mention there would be two chaos numbers in it.

It's possible they do use ZeXal in this episode, but at the end of it.

New Number is seeming most likely to me, without Dark ZeXal, because the card looks evil. And Dark ZeXal seems like the only time Yuma would use evilish stuff.

That card is being used by that guy who is stealing the guy's memories.

Where did it say that? Also, why do you think they would preview a random card, and not his deck's ace? I kind of doubt this Level 3 Effect monster is his best card. Probably a key in his strategy, but not his ace.

Yuma had no problem using Atlanthal despite its checkered past, so I honestly don't think he'd have a problem with 69 if he felt it was necessary.

I thought Atlathal wasn't so much the issue and more than Tron pumped it up with Barian energy and that other card?

69 was used by Tron, and had to be created by anger, and is one of the only few pure evil numbers. That's kinda a massive difference in comparison.

Check the guy's wiki page:

Not to mention he's standing above the monster in the image we have of him.

Why would they take and transform a new non-legendary number over an iconic boss monster that runs off of hate and is heavily implied to be pure evil?

This pretty much. Infact, Coat of Arms is the only one besides Heart Earth Dragon ( which clearly isn't it since that thing doesn't even look 1% dragon ) that would make sense.

Because either: Having a new number let's them get two chances of printing something amazing, and hence make more money.

Or: Because I'm an idiot for raising it as a possibility.

I'm leaning more on the second one.

I got the impression from the preview that something happens to Hope Ray Victory. Like maybe C96 steals it or disables its use. In that case, maybe Yuma uses Rank-Up Magic - Numeron Force on a different Number?

And it would be unbelievably awesome if they did use Coat of Arms again. After all, it's PERFECT for disabling C96, due to how broken anime Coat of Arms is.

It was the not!69 Chaos Number that drained Victory, not C96 (unless somehow C96 changed form to look like 69).

No, I don't think Rio herself is a Number.

According to the flashbacks/memories, past!Rio sacrificed her soul or something to summon a monster capable of fighting the monster that become Number 73. Number 94 is the result.

Not positive on details due to lack of subs.

We totally called this happening after the preview about Yuma and III tag Dueling. Hell, we called it when we saw the opening involving Number 33, 15, and 9.

But I'm still curious about whether Numbers 33/6, 15/40/88, or 9 will actually be played or if they were just shown in the opening because they're III, IV, and V's ace cards. And I was starting to wonder whether the coins were important because of how odd it was that Yuma always found one at the ruins.

But wasn't there supposed to be SEVEN ruins, not just 6? If the last 2 Legendary Numbers were at the same ruins, maybe the 7th location is where the plot requires them to go once they have all of the Legendary Numbers.

I was watching the Duel between Yuma and Tron a little bit ago, and noticed another plot thread that wasn't really resolved. Coat of Arms is allegedly evil because it required hate to use, and when we were discussing the possibility of Coat of Arms returning (I don't think it will, at least not yet), it occurred to me that the writers have gradually been hinting at Yuma having a dark side that he just restrains. There was the Duel with III, where Yuma got pissed when Astral was evidently killed by III, and while he didn't go "dark", like I hoped, it indicated he can be a bit unstable when enraged. Tron himself taunted Yuma during the IV vs Shark Duel that anger produced darkness in people's hearts. What emotion did Tron need for Coat of Arms? Hatred and anger. Then, Vector's Duel addressed Yuma getting murderously pissed when he thought Shingetsu died.

And now, previews indicate Number 96 is involved in Astral disappearing. It was sometimes theorized by me that Astral was the reason Numbers don't affect Yuma, although canon evidence points specifically to the Emperor's Key being the real reason. Even so, Yuma having a darkness in his heart and it usually being triggered by his friends being badly hurt (like most protagonists, really)...I actually think Yuma COULD end up wielding Coat of Arms in the future. And if III, IV, and V are returning, there's the chance Tron will, too, and maybe Tron will have a tag Duel or similar with Yuma, and Numbers 8 and 69 might get played.

I doubt that would happen, but there's definitely an opening for Number 69 to be used again.

I did consider Tron and Dr. Faker, but that seemed a bit too random, although it would be interesting all the same. Partly because they're the two characters who directly made deals with the Barian World, failed in their plans, and then regretted their actions. To have them fight against the Barians together would be interesting.

Being an Accidentshipper, I'm just hoping for some interaction between IV and Rio at last. Although looking at the previews, I'm not sure if that's going to happen...still, I WANT it to happen. I just want some interaction between the two characters already, it's been an entire season! There's so so so much untapped potential between these two just waiting to be animated! ;_; Just look on Tumblr, everyone can sense the chemistry even though they haven't met onscreen yet. Look at them! They're perfect together, aren't they? Especially with Rio having an overprotective brother.

At the very least, I wish IV would make an apology or explanation regarding the event to Rio herself. Preferably with tears. I just want the two to interact already ._. They better.
