Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal Sub/Manga Official Discussion Thread

The one with the red aura looks kinda like Mr. Heartland while he was still human and the one with the green looks kinda like a midget Kaito. The one with the purple might be Charlie, which would make sense considering one of the Numbers in Number Hunters (Crazy Box) involves die rolling, which was his whole schtick.

I have no idea about the other one.

Yeah I also think that the purple one looks more like Charlie than Captain Corn tbh. The others (red and green), I agree with you on.

If it is Charlie, and he does have Crazy Box, I have a hunch he may have Fortune Tune too. FORTUNE Tune. 7 x 7 = 49. Charlie had Number 7. Who knows. Maybe the other three have Numbers 87, 74, and 57. Also, it seems Rio is actually the one who uses that Gorgon card we heard about.

That's funny because I said the same thing when we first saw the image of Gorgonic Guardian 2 weeks ago.

EDIT: Le RAW:

Why did the Numbers Guardian possess both duelists?

To cheat.

Seriously, it was possibly the most blatant cheating since Bandit Keith hid cards up his sleeves. Although that was subtler than outright TAKING CONTROL of the opponent's body and making them waste their entire hand and suicide their only monster.

Yuma's a rambunctious 13-year-old with the attention span and intelligence of a Bichon Frise.
I am a 46-year-old administrator for one of the most powerful paramilitary organizations ever imagined.
I should not be as confused as a character who is supposed to be confused by these turns of events.

I'm more worried because Vector will became Yuma's friend (true this time). He will duel WITH YUMA TO SAVE THE ASTRAL WORLD. How to ruin a perfect villian. Do you remember with happens at Kaibo or Kite when they made a tag duel with the main character?

NO, the description for episode 110 says that Number 96 will launch an attack to destroy the Astral world and Vector is trying to stop him because he senses it'll be a crisis to the Barian world, then it'll end up in a duel between Yuma/Astral and Number 96.

Bumber 96, who obtained the power of chaos, launches an attack that will destroy the Astral World. Vector, sensing it'll bring a crisis to the Barian World, starts a Duel to stop his rampage. Meanwhile, Astral, sensing the waves of this catastrophe, with Yuma by his side, rushes to the cause of it, Number 96!

That's the full description. Poor Vector. But was unavoidable. Yuma can't kill Vector without a Barian "Rank-up" card, and you remember what happens the last time he use one of those card.

I did read the description, but remember the Misael duel in episode 82/83? Yuma originally duelled Misael, but then Kaito took over because Yuma couldn't go on. I think the same will happen in this situation, Yuma/Astral will take over from Vector but for different reasons to the previous.

As well as Number 73, we'll be seeing another NEW number next week, Number 9?:

So Number 9? was that other silhouetted monster in the new opening. It also means that the ruins that Shark, Rio and Yuma are at house 2 Numbers apparently.

So Rio and Shark both get new boss out of it... Hmm...

I think that provides both more, and less evidence for the two being Barians. (I haven't watched the RAW yet so I may be wrong here).

More is: Two legendary Numbers, odds are intended for one of them each, which means they both have connections to the ruins.

Less: Doesn't begin to explain where there over 100 Numbers have gone.
Shark was seen wearing a barian emblem in a hallucination he had of his past life.
Interesting. The reveal seems to be that Rio and Shark may in fact be reincarnations of a past life. The Barian emblem was seen, so it does seem to say they're Barians.

The complication is that Vector's human form was also seen, waging war against Shark/Rio's kingdom whatever. But that raises a few further questions. Vector's story says he was a prince that eventually killed himself. If Shark and Rio truly are Barians, then Vector is probably the one who ultimately killed them in the past.

Nasch is presumably leader of the Barians. If past!Shark had the Barian emblem, and Shark turns out to be Nasch (all clues point to this right now), then that may be why the Barians use that particular emblem. Which is hilarious if you consider that Vector is the most rebellious of the Barians. He originally fought against the kingdom with that emblem, and now he's subordinate to that mark. Whether this is important or just me musing on the situation remains to be seen.
I'm quite interested in where this is going. It hasn't been FULLY confirmed, but the evidence being collected is now nearly impossible to deny.

Hmmmm...

Not sure what I think of that episode.

There's a lot more evidence for the Shark Rio Barian theory. Hell enough that the odds are now about 2 to 1.

It's also give evidence theory of mine, where all the Barians past lives are actually interlinked, and that the reason Vector acts out on his own is because he killed all of the others.

I'm annoyed that Shark didn't use Aeroshark on his first turn for 2k burn. I would've been fine if there was something holding him back like him not wanting to hurt Rio.. but unless the sub clears that up, there was no reason why.

Durbe and Miseal seem to be confiding in each other a lot, which I like. But with all the dialogue here, I want to sub more than anything else, Since I think this episode more than most needs it to clear things up

Also Number 9 or whatever is blatantly Rio Number. Despite Number 73 being a Rank 5, which doesn't suit Shark.
